Snake In The Koi Pond --- It Ate One Of My Goldfish!

It's been quite a snake-filled summer so far. We've had quite a few snakes making our pond their home. We're working on ways to get them out and then keep them from coming back, but hadn't replicated it yet. Overall it looks pretty good...it just has snakes. Let me know if you have any ideas to rid the area of snake.

Thanks Ray! This is the first time I've had problems with snakes. Luckily, I haven't seen any a few weeks, but we've added a net behind the rocks that they could get caught in and allow us to removed them easily.

Nice pond. I'm planning on building something in the backyard to help attract more birds. I live in the country so I like snakes better than rats lol

I'm terrified of snakes ... but certainly wouldn't kill them. X

Looks like you need to have a roadrunner as a pet. (roadrunner is a bird which eats snakes.. I think rattlesnakes but perhaps that one)

Lemon grass will not do anything.. I have a lime bush and grass snake lives right under it in my garden

Move the snakes away from the pond if you don’t want them to eat your fish! Where do you live? Did you rub your snake oil salesmen’s product on them before letting them loose? Your snake oil salesman will think you’re stupid if you don’t do this. Did I mention you’re brilliant!
