Ya, if it is”ich”, it’s a contagious fungal infection. Known for killing entire aquariums in lousy commercial pet stores. I purchased 3 Beta’s for my then 3 yr old daughter. Trying to do the sad, “hurry and replace it before she realizes it died” approach, as she was 3, and I didn’t want to cross that bridge yet, since we had an elderly pupper who was a dear family member and going to be a huge loss. Anyways, I was pissed by fish #3, as I grew up with fish, exotics, massive aquariums and ponds due to my father, and knew how to care for a beta. Turns out, while I thought I was smart and selected second and third fish from different shipments, petshit was not forthcoming that they had a problem and were treating all incoming shipments themselves for “ich”, and half the shipments were arriving 50/50 alive/unalive. So ya, I was a bit disappointed to see him just throw away that poor, sick, obviously older goldfish into that large public/community pond where it’s on its own, can’t be treated as it so desperately needs, and just contaminated the pond. SMH….
@Restlessgypzy Same, I've had fish as long as I can remember just until a few years ago. Ich can be devastating if untreated and is HIGHLY contagious. I wasn't happy to see that either. At the very least he could have taken him home and kept him separate from all the other fish, along with the fish he put the goldfish in with, and treated them. After they were healthy he could have put them in the ponds he wanted to place them in. It just blows my mind that so many people have just tossed their pet aquarium fish into local waterways. The typical aquarium fish shouldn't harm the local fish, but the predatory fish is another story. It's no different than all the carp in the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers killing off all the native fish because they're eating everything they find and the native fish starve. That sick goldfish is capable of killing every fish in Pond X.
Good job man, I'm pretty sure that goldfish with the fungi looking stuff has an issue called white spot it can be pretty common in goldfish if they have poor water conditions and can be infectious to other fish, I suggest isolating it and start giving it treatment asap, your doing a good job
Bro is playing phasmo, but instead of collecting evidence, they're collecting fish. Great job bc the owner of the house would be very proud that you saved their fish!
So glad to see you do this for these fish! Not many would. Kudos!!! I almost was like the person who died. I had 8 fish tanks, the two largest being 110 gallons each. The two biggest tanks were large Angelfish and Clown Loaches. The others were community tanks. I loved my aquariums and had all my tanks fully stocked. I took really great care of them all and worrying about them in the hospital actually worsened my condition. I finally had to make a choice of dying by going back home or taking the time it took to get friends to find possible adopters. I suddenly got sent into the hospital back in 2016 for heart failure and was in the hospital for 3 months and a separate care facility for 2 more months. I nearly died twice in the hospital. I had paid rent for the entire time but once I left the hospital, I was required to go into a charity care facility and that was going to be for months. I was unemployed and unemployable and had no money left. Because I had previously had a large income, no charity would help me. I had no family at all and no friends willing to help me go in and care for them let alone adopt them. I finally found a person who would take the tanks and all the fish after 2 months of no care or electricity. I had to give him all my tanks and accessories to get him to take the fish as the apartment would charge me thousands if I left them. The manager said they would just drain the tanks and throw them and anything inside in the trash. Fish stores or shops or most hobbiests here won't take fish even if given. When we went into the apartment after being gone 2 months, all the fish were amazingly still alive except some missing which I assume were cannibalized. But man, the fish poop and stale water smell was incredibly bad. And just like here, the big grass roaches were all over around the aquariums. They thrive on what the smells and stale water provide. I was so embarrassed that I had to let it get like that. But lack of any friends or family willing to help while I was in the hospital was unavoidable. And since I still had heart problems I couldn't help whoever took them with the physical moving from a third floor down the flights stairs. Don't think too harshly of people like the one here who left these fish. Without friends or family willing to help, it's darn near impossible to even give away fish nowadays unless you find someone else with lots of room and tanks. People want empty tanks not ones with fish inside. I came close to being like the person mentioned here but I survived and kept the place paid for long enough to get an adopter. I was lucky all of mine survived in their nasty water. I no longer keep fish or aquariums as I am no longer healthy enough to keep them up. If you are a keeper of tanks of fish, or want to be, be sure you have made arrangements for someone to care for them in an emergency. If something happens to you, your pets will need another care giver.
@@Ibrohim-sz6yeIt really doesn't take that long. If your teachers did right by you, you can pretty much type as quickly as you think. I did this paragraph with two thumbs in less than a minute, including fixing typos. Work on the skills. Reading and writing improve with practice.
Just a suggestion, but you might consider keeping an aquarium siphon in your "rescue kit" to pull out a lot of the water in tanks. You can siphon it into a bucket, out a window, into a sink, etc... It will help to catch them and see them a lot easier😊
Great work saving all of those scaly babies!! I might recommend some rubber gloves or something. I was always told not to handle fish with my hands bc of their slime coat or something? But also who knows what's in that water 🤢 so glad your friend told you though, looks like they wouldn't have made it more than a couple days without your help ❤
Awesome of you guys to do that Nice job and the best way to care for that goldfish is to make sure he is in a large tank alone without any other fish.Put a filter in his tank with 3 drops methylene blue, aquarium salt, malachite green (To get rid of white spots) and lastly quinine sulfate. Keep on doing you. You are really amazing❤🐟

If something happens to you, your pets will need another care giver.
im sorry about that x❤
htf u type that much?
rlly sad but... how much time does this take?it take 15 minutes to read holy cow
@@Ibrohim-sz6yeIt really doesn't take that long. If your teachers did right by you, you can pretty much type as quickly as you think. I did this paragraph with two thumbs in less than a minute, including fixing typos. Work on the skills. Reading and writing improve with practice.
@@bijou3000 i read 237 words in 1 minute type fast and dont talk about my teacher and i wrote these with one thumb in 1minute so shut up
Thank God we have someone like you to keek fish safe
We all thank you for saving the fish after the owner passed away 😢
Just a suggestion, but you might consider keeping an aquarium siphon in your "rescue kit" to pull out a lot of the water in tanks. You can siphon it into a bucket, out a window, into a sink, etc... It will help to catch them and see them a lot easier😊
I would think a pump with a motor would be great to lower the water level of the outdoor ponds!
Great video! A lot of different fish-but too many to name! You absolutely have to go back for the fish in the pond. You and Helen make a great team!❤
I am excited for part two and do you keep all the fish and other animals you rescue
This was a really entertaining video. Can’t wait to see you rescue from the outside pond. Helen is a real one for braving the roaches and rats!
It really is a great video
Great work saving all of those scaly babies!! I might recommend some rubber gloves or something. I was always told not to handle fish with my hands bc of their slime coat or something? But also who knows what's in that water 🤢 so glad your friend told you though, looks like they wouldn't have made it more than a couple days without your help ❤

A fishing video turns in to a paranormal investigation 😂
bro you really love fishes 🐸🐊🐢🦎🐍🐬🐟🐳🐋🦭🐙🐡🦈🐠
I’m so glad that you saved all of those fish
Awesome of you guys to do that
Nice job and the best way to care for that goldfish is to make sure he is in a large tank alone without any other fish.Put a filter in his tank with 3 drops methylene blue, aquarium salt, malachite green (To get rid of white spots) and lastly quinine sulfate.
Keep on doing you. You are really amazing❤🐟
How the hell did you get the RUclips logo
How did you get the RUclips logo
@@ImeldaVazquez-x9s Cant you get it?
Love that you get to save fish like this.
Also, love seeing pond X again. Could you do a 5 to 8 fish trap day at pond X? Small and large traps. I wanna see how things are going there.

Helen said “what if there is rats and roaches” Bobby says “abandon houses are known for those” Bobby sees a roach “ahhh”
lol frr 4:09
I'm want p2
Them: the fish says "thank you for saving me"
(probably) What the fish is saying: Can you put me in the bucket so I can breathe?
Well abandoned house and apparently all the fish survived without food
How cool is that
There could be bottom feeders and sucker fish and kuli loaches so make sure to drain the tanks and retrieve everything alive. ❤🔥🐠🐟
Bobby your energy reminds me of the late Steve Irwin. You are incredible!
Although Bobby gets bitten a lot less often 😂
He’s a good guy for saving the fish 🐟
the angel fish need to go in the Tiki Hut tank!!!
Nice haul Bobby esp the Asian Redtail & Ripsaw, I can’t wait to see the pond rescue, and to the guy who told you about the fish and let you have the keys to save the fish I say well done sir.

Loved the video thanks for saving all these fish. You are so cute to watch I thought for sure you were going to knock yourself out whenever you came back in the last time. You heard a noise and stopped just short of hitting the wall. lol
Thank you for saving all the fish from this place !
This has to be my favorite video you'd done in a while, I love "recuse from abandoned places" videos and hope to see more soon! Can't wait to see the part two!
How did all the fish survived without any food or oxygen pump ?????
you can get this supply for fish and you squirt it in the tank [so keep him/her in a separate tank ] and then they some how grow better and it gets rid of the stuff on the goldfish
That fish who saw the clean water: BYEEEEE SUCKERS
18:27 i love how he was jumping while casually holding a fish like a lil snack
Fr that was funny but that fish was probably like ahh don’t eat me
well done saving all of these fish bobby and helen
i would have put that beautiful goldfish into a quarantine tank before it spread any kind of disease around the pond!
Bobby after you take care of these fish put some of the colored ones in your Mom's tiki tank. She will love the color.
I love how he gets so excited when he sees fish it’s hilarious ❤😂
" OH HELEN! " fr but I love his vids
7:41 I can tell,the owner was a Garfield fan
I love you for saving these fish! Just cant stop thinking of how long youre holding them to show them off!
I appreciate you two braving the ghost and saving those fish. I think he appreciates it as well.
Good job saving all of the fish .take care of the goldfish
Ghostbuster suit would be more suitable for this episode 😂😂😂👻
