Not sure what you want to spend your Plucked Eyeballs on at the Shrine of the Putrid Mother in Lords of the Fallen? Well, I went through the trouble of spending all mine on the tincts so that you can figure out what shader works best for your armor.
The way to obtain Plucked Eyeballs is to Soulflay one of the red lanterns that spawn randomly throughout the world and avenge lampbearers that were killed by enemies. Each one of these lampbearer-killers have increased health, and when they're defeated, they'll drop 3 Plucked Eyeballs. Each tinct costs 100 Plucked Eyeballs, and you can't preview them at the shop, so rather than wasting your time and figurative money, use this video as a quick reference guide for your fashion needs.
Here's a list of the shaders available to purchase at the Shrine of the Putrid Mother's shop:
Ashen Tinct
Contempt Tinct
Bonelord Tinct
Starved Tinct
Rotting Glory Tinct
Livid Hatred Tinct
Hungering Shadow Tinct
Nohuta Tinct
Malice Tinct
The Relinquished Tinct
You can potentially use an Eye of Vengeance to get lanterns to appear more frequently, but I honestly had a lot more success either resting or manually reloading areas (exiting to the main menu and reloading the save.)
Right now, farming for these items is a real pain in the ass, and even though I platinumed the game, I think I only had 8 or 900 Plucked Eyeballs total after five clears of the game when it costs 2600 to purchase all items from the shop. To put it another way, you'd need to kill avenge 867 lampbearers to clear out the shop in NA, so don't waste your time farming. Just pick your favorites from this gallery instead.
