Watched all of his playthroughs that have been uploaded thus far. Certainly a challenging game no doubt. The enemies just swarm and creep up on you out of nowhere. Getting through those first initial areas with low health and poor equipment looks rage inducing but once he got adequately leveled up and improved his equipment, the fun factor seemed to go up. I love these games and watching Cowboy progress through it, I think a lot of Souls fans are going to love it. Looking forward to playing this one. Thanks for all the work you put into these videos and walkthroughs.

He got early access along with a lot of other creators. He’s been playing for a while. They just aren’t allowed to release videos until the company gives them the green light, which is usually right before the game comes out

I didn't even notice that they had a stagger gage. Close to halfway through the game decided to watch this and what do you know actually came out with useful information. You generally always make great informative videos for souls likes, much appreciated. Edit: Don't buy the Pilgrim Key. I don't want to spoil anything myself I will just say you will get it later on in the game. Learn from my mistakes because there's enemies behind those doors that will absolutely demolish you lol. It's basically an item that gets you into a late game area. Hope that wasn't too much of a spoiler just trying to help you save your vigor.

I just got this game and didn’t understand most of it even as a old dark souls player and this helped so much, I’m excited for this game it looks great
One thing Cowboy didn't mention is the game has motion momentum. So if you full send towards a ledge and jump to get to another ledge, you'll probably stumble off the other side if the platform is narrow enough.
If anyone is trying to get the smithy and have come to the door covered in roots and it has an Umbral entity blocking it there’s 3 1 is on the platform below- follow the big spine bridge down 2 on the spot CB was standing to let the spike head run off the platform 3 it to the right and up of the door.

Seems like a pretty damn critical NPC to leave tucked away like this, I don't think I would have found her for a long time if it weren't for your video! I would have just assumed that the main story path would have me come across her in a way that was very noticeable, so I'm glad I just happened to check this out before finishing Pilgrim's Perch.
I heard her hitting the anvil and knew she was below me, but I I didn't go down to free her because I was on my way to the boss. Went back and got her though. You can certainly hear her if you are paying attention.

The zombies in umbrel are scared of the lamp if u shine it at them they will cover their face and shy away slowly btw keep up the awesome content cowboy!!

Honestly I was waiting for your interpretation of it before I really went for it and was happy with your take my friend. Picked it up myself and I'm having a real good time. I do have a gripe but other than that one thing it's a solid experience that I recommend people check out. Very Dark souls esq obviously but in a good way. Cheers
The area where you run to the blacksmith was my goto area to farm. Pop Umbral and do a circuit including the platform with the knight on it and it's possible to get around 8000 vigour per run with the boost ring. It served me well, right up to end game.

Still not enjoying the souls game anymore? Must be a seasoned vet. I’m just now barely getting into it and dipped my toes with lords of the fallen and am absolutely loving it. Makes me want to start from the beginning skipping demon souls lol trying to figure out if after I get through with LotF if I wanna start from the beginning or just jump onto Elden ring.

Remember the old trick if you’re stuck on a boss or discover a boss arena and you don’t wanna fight the boss for whatever reason: just quit to the menu. This is useful if you wanna pick up your vigor real quick in the boss arena then go elsewhere
I’m on second boss somehow I feel like with pure luck tbh. The word is overwhelmed that I’m looking for. That being said, u just raided my interest back. I was scared I’d be lost a lot, haven’t happened bad yet. I’m waiting the combat system to click tho it definitely hasn’t. That’s why I said I feel I’m here just by sheer luck and will to love the game. Lies of P wasn’t all that in the beginning either, but it was very clear compared. I don’t know what to sell neither I guess it comes. Little confused also why I still have the same weapons n armour makes me think if I’ve missed something. Not that it’s been long but there’s so f many. Seems cool tho thank you again man
About to use dual Neophyte Dagger for quality build to build up wither status at +10 they get A- for both physical scaling which is insane as you can buy it the second you beat the first boss and get to the hub Fextralife has updated their wiki so looking at what weapons is viable for your build is now possible One thing this game did right is display enemy stagger bar like Sekiro, and unlike Elden Ring and Lies Of P, I do wish it was a little bigger tho

Just Stop Running mid air and you land in noe spot and wont move :)
