This game is sooo good. It’s gotten Elden Ring good for me now that the frame drops are better. People really oversold it the performance issues, it was basically the same as Elden Ring at launch. Definitely needed improvement but much better now. Still needs a little work in large city areas with tons of enemies. Lies of P was good but the weapons, levels, combat variety here are great.
I hear ya. Both games did different things really well. Lies nailed the classic souls combat, but is a traditionalist's souls game. This game does so much more with the two world maps, and the build variety. FINALLY someone nails magic in a souls game. Need them to take some inspiration from Remnant in terms of multiplayer but it's a damn near perfect game for me.@@sweatyzeusgaming
The Ring of Bones can be found in the mines just before your fight with the Skin Stealer. You’ll get to a part in the mines where this a big hole with water in it and two “floating” corpses there. You go into umbra unblock the latter leading up (be careful cause there is one of those giant skull guys that apply wither). After you climb the latter there is a resting spot in the door way, but to the right of the latter there is a lever to drain the water. Drain the water and the ring is one the body closest to the latter.

Plus… I’m wondering with a strength + radiance build… if you would just stop using your ranged spells/miracles altogether late-game, if I didn’t pump enough stats into radiance 🤔 Or just enough radiance to use blessed weapon type spells…
I have layers most of my play through with the sword of skin and bone, for the runes I found that the best damage increase is by equipping two runes that enhance the strength when wielding it with two hands, there’s also a fine balled hilvit that you can get from killing the dudes wearing bells, these also increase the strength scaling but it’s a larger increase compared to the ones he has equipped, they do slightly less damage compared to the two handed runes but the upside is you can one hand with a shield or other weapon. The second slot for the sword is a star shaped tune I believe and I couldn’t find any good runes to put here other than health upon kill or increase in elemental damage
*Regarding what to use in the offhand:* if you go through with Gerlinde the Blackamith’s quest you get a radiant rune which reduces stat and weight of whatever you put it into to 0. That means another weapon or even a heavy shield becomes an option. Several of the Heavy shields have “Any”/Omni rune slots, which is a lot rarer on weapons ofc. Shield of Whispers is my personal favorite.
I'd like to point out that even more than this build. You can use BOTH of these weapons at once if you put the radiance rune in the hammer that negates its weight
I feel like dual wielding is the way to go, especially with grand weapons you're already swinging quite slow, and the heavy dual wield moveset is similar speed to the grand hammers/swords but double hits with a bit less damage per hit so you just end up doing a ton of damage. Only downside is it's very heavy but there are runes that reduce weight.
If you are going one handed and shield a much better alternative to pure blade mace is the Hammer of Holy Agony… it has good strength and holy damage scaling plus bleed. And you can get it in the first few hours. I’ve used it the entire game so far and loved it.

I just discovered that sprint + heavy attack (or dodge ) is super strong! after 20 30h of game lol But i still dont see the difference between a light and heavy attack if you dont charge
@@captinanchor good old two handed jump slam, absolutely shreds through enemy hp whilst with almost every enemy including alot of bosses instantly staggering/ putting to the ground every hit, so u can literally cheese through most of the game keeping your enemies on the ground so they cant fight back, im using that with dervla crossbow so im literally the ultimate god cheese haha

I'm not even sure this game will have a meta given how hard it scales you for PVP. Also the new game plus cycles are brutal so intentionally leaving yourself at a certain level is going to hurt
@@FightinCowboy From what i've read enemies get upscaled pretty hard & you can only use Seed Vestiges, which actually sounds kinda cool for replayability, although it does limit the amount of people who can, "play the game", not to rip on more casual players.

Do you get a strength +50% bonus on your Strength stat requirement (like Dark Souls / Elden Ring) if you two hand a weapon? I am at strength 21 and even when two handing the Faithful Bludgeon (which requires 28) I can't use the weapon.
You can get a few pretty early, but if you wanna go full umbral bro wait for the walkthrough as we'll be doing the hidden ending which unlocks the starting umbral class.
I prefer Nioh or Nioh 3 (Wo Long) where armor has PLAYER power stats and set bonus effects. This game's armor is just like EVERY souls game BORING power progression. i wannna be motovated to hunt down an armor set because it has a bad ass player power effect. Example: in AC odyssey you got the Demigod armor set which gives +30% ALL damage. That is a nice effect so I was motivated to hunt it down.
What skill is that in game or accessory? Where after u stunned that huge guard u riposte with a finishing blow where u pull out his soul like Shang Tsung..?
10:40 is that true about light shields having a larger parry window? I know that’s how it is in the from soft games, but I can’t find anybody that covers the differences between shield types besides the stat differences.
I probably won't do agi for a while, but I would recommend killing kukajin and then dual wield her sword alongside Bloodlust, this'll give you burn, bleed, and poison. Combine with Bow of the Covenant which has burn bleed frost and poison to further compliment your flurry of statuses, and lastly slap on a pendant of burden which will boost the damage you deal for every status on an enemy. Hit R1 and profit.
@@FightinCowboythen I hope devs will change Agi becouse all I see on the yt is str and radiance builds :( I would like to see any dual spear or dual polearm build
2 handed. Dual wield is more for status which is better with faster weapon. If you insist on grand dual wielding you at minimum need to sacrifice sparky so you have the room that removes weight requirements

daggers and small shields have larger parry windows but their damage mitigation is worse.
