Really glad i found your channel brother. You do an amazing job walking us through and explaining everything clearly. I was having some issues when i first started playing this game. Im not lying when i say it took me 4½ days almost 5 to beat Pieata. I had to play the same area awhile to level up and just learn the mechanics. I come from FPS games and this souls style is completely bew to me. At first i was frustrated and thought i wasted my money...but my 1st character is now level 92 and i just started my 2nd character just to see if ive gotten better and......yes, yes i have lol i can now beat most bosses pretty early on in hame without much issue. Keep up the great work and know we appreciate the time you put into making theae for us. Sorry for writing a book here
That skeleton guy at 6:00 is actually real easy to cheese. Get his aggro started, then run up the ladder. He just stands under you, attacking. Perfect for plunge attacks until dead
so glad to see you doing a things you missed series on this game, its such a special game, i truly think its on par with fromsoft in certain areas, and its been an absolute joy to play. the devs are really on top of patching out the issues too, performance is definitely not good, but the devs are aware and have already released 2 patches fixing crashes and other bugs and glitches. truly a fantastic experience so far for me.
I agree. It’s not as tight and controlled as Fromsoftware, but it’s good enough and it’s a lot of fun. I don’t think a lot of reviewers have expressed just how integral the umbral realm is to the game. It’s a really unique feature and it’s my favorite thing about the game. It’s incredible and I’m having a blast with it.
idk how people have performance issues, unless you're playing on a absolute potato then it makes sense. i havent had a single issue since release and stay round 100 fps
@snapcity5906 it's kinda bad for console. I have xbox series X. Every so often I get massive lag spikes. But it usually only happens when I get to a new area that's got a lot going on. Other than that, I have no issues
Doms easy-going polite attitude is what kept me watching. There's a hundred videos on shit we missed in "From" games. He brings it together in a very concise, interesting, informative way. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for making this! I followed your videos throughout most of Elden ring, it truly would not have been the same without you. Now you’re making me want to play this game
Looks like I found all of this but love this content anyway. I’m sure one of the upcoming parts in this series will be helpful to me. I try to be as thorough as possible but it’s nice to have confirmation from another source. Thanks for the awesome content!
This game is unbelievably difficult. I'm at another day before I uninstall. The enemies don't even give you 5 seconds of a break.😂 Nothing close to as good as Elden Ring. Closer to demon souls 2
@@d2197vit's not that bad lol. It has almost a wo long type gameplay feel to it. The enemy spawn is fckn alot tho. Ya definitely right. Did you play lies of P? That was a cool game. Same with both Jedi games. They might be more of what your looking for. . I enjoyed all of them anyway. Just an idea bro
@@d2197vdon't know if you got around to playing more of the game, but they have patched the umbral mode so it isn't as relentless now. I've only just started playing it, but was keeping up on the news for the game, and I remember seeing people saying how good the changes to the spamming of enemies in Umbra felt 👍
Respect for for taking the time and effort to create a walkthrough that make sure you don't miss any items while keeping it as spoiler-free as possible?
You are the best. Followed you with Elden ring, now here with Lord of the Fallen. Your explanations, your tone, all in all: you’re the best and thank you (wherever you are). 👍
Dude I fricken love Dom, hell of a YT channel here. His Elden Ring “what you missed, maybe” or whatever was awesome. This one will too there is SO much stuff. All I’ve got for anyone here… Practice parries, git gud at them. They will SURELY help. Practice w/all kinds of dual weapons, the move sets can be quite awesome. You can parry w/any weapon or dual weapon as well, & even block. If you don’t quite get the parry down but got you (whatever) back up quick enough for a block-it’ll only take a bit if wither damage so hit back to heal (trying not to get hit as all that either damage will then be completely gone) I didn’t do as well as I thought (& I actually gave the real tutorial boss a nice run!) w/Pieta. For me, this is where parrying came in NICE. You can dodge her quite nicely (& do not ignore that pilgrim’s set you find-you’ll be rolling fast as hell & as most of her attacks, even sword, dish a LOT of holy damage-the Pilgrim’s set actually is pretty viable. Anyway, for me? I partied her-not cause dodge wasn’t viable-but giving her at least 2 nice parries (I think w/out getting hit-might not matter)-you’ll have many occasions to deal massive “stun damage” (whatever it’s called) Also, & I’d say this for any boss-don’t quite use any weapon buffs or gear defense buffs till you KNOW you’ve got the enemy down. Great vid, can already tell I’ll love this series-Dom, appreciate ya & ur work m8👍✌️
The elite flame sword guy can constantly be plunge attacked like the Dark Souls Taurus Demon boss if you want to cheese him to farm his strength inferno sword. The sword has a passive inferno buff and it is a decent early to mid game weapon and scales to 500 + damage with 40 strength.
So.. I only see two of these “things you missed” videos on here and in the pilgrims perch section I heard you request to like and comment if we think you should keep it up.. I’m here to say PLEASE DO! Your videos are great in general and in this game and there is so much you can between axiom and umbral. Please and thank you!
For some reason I have a love-hate relationship with the souls-like games. I love the challenge, I love the gameplay, I love the atmosphere... but what I don't like is the ambiguity and vagueness when it comes to the direction as in where you are supposed to go and in what order the quests are supposed to be done. I get easily lost, I miss out on a lot of stuff and accidentally end up getting myself locked out of some stories / progression / equipment and etc. Now... as I am a sort of a completionist, this is where my hate towards these kind of games comes from. BUT... that gets me to a point... this is why I love what you are doing my man. I will probably be starting a new character ( even though I got my first one to level 80 on a first play through) and follow the episodes that you are uploading. Big massive thanks to what you are doing! :)
My tip for Pieta phase 2. Her sword swings while hovering in front of you propel her forward a bit, so simply sidestep into her and you'll be behind her for some easy back stabs.
@tee-ravis4802 I've completed DS2/DS3/Bloodborne/Demons Souls remake/Elden Ring and I found this boss to be challenging because I was fighting her as though she was a souls boss. I just couldn't get the flow of the fight for some reason (probably because I've only been playing FPS games and Warframe recently), but ended up beating her after a few attempts.
@@tee-raviscool, not all of us are sadists/masochists like you...... Hurr durr it two ez...... Yea so what??? Not everyone is you? Ill make a comparison, its easy for elon musk to invent technology so it clearly must be easy mode for everyone right? Thats your logic

Love these videos.....I've only played for a couple of hours but these guys have completed the game a few times so its actually THEM that missed them 😂😂😂
I really like these types of videos. They helped me a lot with elden ring. Unfortunately I will be stuck on pietra for the foreseeable future and unable to follow your up coming videos 😂 at least with elden ring I could go other places and come back later, with this game I've been doing a circuit of the same small path of the first section over and over to level my character. I've only managed to get pietra to just below half health so I do like you putting boss tips in the videos. I just need more skill 😂
Thank you - this is likely exactly the guide I need to get through this game - I am honestly having buyer’s remorse and just want to finish this game asap to at least experience it once - the game presentation is sloppy and the performance issues are severe
Remember, it feels more rewarding downing a boss without summons. So don’t fall for the temptation! And, number two, as long as you bring her health down to zero before she does to yours, you should win. Good luck, you got this!
love the format.... this game is awesome .... pretty damn confusing but overall it's fun.... I've killed 5 bosses so far and Pieta was the fardest imo... the only one who killed me and took me a few attempts .... I think summoning would make the bosses too easy if you play a lot of souls games.... the bosses here are way easier than lies of P '
Since when I got two greatswords and started dual wielding all bosses just crumble lol, the amount of stagger you can do in this game in insane so you can easily cheese them
Whereas lies of p favored light and fast weapons, this game seems to favour heavy weapons. They do more stagger and the animation isn’t too slow. Plus the big damage. They seem to fit more than hit and run than my dual daggers are… I liked how fast weapons were king in lies of P, and now feeling a little bit gimped. They have no incentive other than the playstyle.
Honestly I feel like if Pieta was in another game like dark souls she would be near endgame for instance in 1 she would be be basically the last boss in 3 around the middle and elden ring probably around the middle as well.
That first boss fight was beyond frustrating at first. I refused to summon help. Once I realized how easy she was to parry it put me in like a flow state which really slowed down my method of attack. Slow and steady wins the race against her for sure!
It’d be nice if the performance actually allowed me to fight the boss like you show in this vid. So damn frustrating. Should’ve waited to buy this game. Also it looks amazing but the movement and combat just feels cheap and flat - I don’t of any other way to describe it. Sound FX are also dull. There’s seemingly a delay when swinging your weapons too. If we could have these visuals/atmosphere with the punchy feeling of a Fromsoft game’s combat, this game would literally be perfect. You can’t always get what you want.
If you are comfortable kiting and dodging, faster attacking weapons could be better than heavy hitting weaponry. The animations can be very misleading for timing
