Not sure what you want to spend your Severed Hands on? Well, I went through the trouble of spending all mine on the tincts so that you can figure out what shader works best for your armor.
Also included is a mini-tutorial of how to unlock these tincts. From the Ruiner Boss fight arena in Fitzroy's Gorge, phase shift into the umbral realm and go through the stigma tumor thing on the bridge, and do some light platforming. At the end of the little side area you can find the Shrine of Adyr (or is it Shrine to Adyr? idk) and you'll be able to spend the Severed Hand currency that's obtained from pvp invasions to buy various cosmetics.
Here's a list of the shaders available to purchase at the shop:
Butcher Tinct
Warlord Tinct
Commander Tinct
Blood Duke Tinct
Devastator Tinct
Sufferer Tinct
Flesh-Tearer Tinct
Charred Lord Tinct
Hand-Collector Tinct
Stalker Tinct
Each tinct costs 100 Severed Hands to purchase and you can get 9 hands per successful invasion. However, if you use a Charred Finger after you invade someone, you can gain 27 Severed Hands instead, reducing the required invasions per tinct from 12 to 4.
You can buy some Charred Fingers for vigor from some NPCs like Damarose, but their supplies are limited, so you might need to go into someone else's world to buy more. OR you can reload previous saves to get your Charred Fingers back. I don't know why but on Steam/PC, the Severed Hand, Eyeball, and Coins for doing multiplayer are stored separately from character data. I'll probably make another video following up with this method.

Yes, the majority of tincts are through exploration and general gameplay

Well if you have internet and just don't like pvp. There are tincts for helping others with PvE.
