- This guide will explain the steps and locations you'll need to travel to in order to complete the Lords of the Fallen Halloween Event. Completing this event will reward players with the Pumpskin Mask, which will only be available until November 2nd, 2023. So, get to it and get your mask! #lordsofthefallen2023 #soulslike #guide
*You must have killed the Hushed Saint boss on whatever playthrough you are on NOW. For example, if you killed it on New Game but moved on to New Game Plus, you'll have to kill that boss again. Make sure you get his gloves, legs, and chest piece. Apparently, I only have 2, and I could fight the boss, but others are reporting they needed them all.*

This game gets a lot of hate but I truly believe this game is awesome! Love that the devs are quick to make patches and listen to the community!
I mean rightly so. It's a super fun game but full of a lot of jank. Lotf is mid as it gets.

This is hands down the best souls-like souls-like game I've ever played. It can be rough around the edges but I am genuinely enjoying it.

Despite the ongoing work the devs have been putting in the game since its launch they're dedicated enough to create events.
This is a sign the game won't die and it's here to stay and will leave a mark in the soul series 👍🏻
I dont think this game has much staying power. Ng+ is not worth doing. Now that theyve only taken out a few vestiges, its a lot more forgiving, but trying to complete any other ending aside from radiant on ng+ with only 1 vestige is garbage. I tried. Want to do an npcs quest? Get ready to run for 30 mins just to aquire their item and then run it all the way back to them.
What kept the souls games relevant was the pvp. The pvp in this game is broken. Youre either absolutely destroyed by some broken weapon or spell, or you absolutely destroy the invader. There are no battles. No skill. Just luminous light if they have a shield, due to its proccing absurdly fast and melting them, the hushed saints spear or exploding bolts.
At lvl 155, I can 1 shot casters with a buffed ravenger grand sword and 2 shot anyone else.
If they balance the pvp, I believe it'll stick around longer but only in the early game. No one is going to be in ng+ just to get 1 shot and have no vestiges to easily return.
When you guys start mentioning "balance" I know it's gonna be a disaster because everyone has his issues and lack of knowledge in a souls game...
If you understand completely the game you'll agree with me that, in the current state, the pvp is bad because of the internet connection. I had to block cross-play and I still get bad connections...
Besides that the game is in a better state than it was when released. I believe the game is going to be better in performance.
About the builds, players should first get all items and spells and after that only the sky is the limit...
A souls game is always a hellish game...
@@RonJeremyVsUrMomsouls pvp never kept the game alive, the souls pvp scene has literally always been the most niche aspect of the game because pvp throughout the franchise has always been terrible.

This game doesn't deserve the hate its getting. They perfected the interconnected world in this one. Classes were solid but im not nut nuts about secret classes being so identical to the base classes. Underrated game though.

@DIHVLD You right bugs are the issues which they have been working on everyday. We can't forget this is this studio's first attempt either. I personally think the game is awesome has so many good things going for it of course there will be things people don't like and that's ok I mean ive hated the magic system in Fromsoftware games forever but I still like the Soulsborne games and think they are great mostly. I can understand why some people don't want to give their time to something they don't get instant satisfaction from as well. I just don't get some of the critiques like they reused a boss as a regular mob as if Fromsoftware hasnt done this for years heck they reuse bosses from old games as mini bosses/mobs I mean have people played elden ring.
Not the issues anyone has but the inter-connected world is far from “perfected” lol, it’s completely pointless in this game.

FYI: to see the last pumpkin to make the boss spawn, you need the full set of the Hushed saint to be on, i had only the chest and boots but could not spawn the boss after the gloves i could :) great vid, thanks.

the pumpkin head also increases item drop rate by 0.3 same as umbral eye that byron gives you after he brings winterberry to skybridge
I managed to get the pumpkin head finally... I had to do the entire snowy area, which took me all day, but I screwed up Byron's quest so he murderized Winterberry before I found her. Oh well, there's always NG+.

Thank you! Just in time for this! I’m playing coop and it’s been a blast, I truly have enjoyed every second and every surprise on this game, it deserves way more praise! But I guess since the devs are so nice and listen, losers will always talk sh*t and have lame complains. Sure the game’s not perfect, but it doesn’t deserve the bad press. I hope more people can see through the complainers trying to make a quick buck on RUclips, and try this little gem for themselves!

He does NOT drop the umbral eye that the regular Red reaper drops. I haven't killed a red reaper on this char yet, and did not get it when I killed this boss. Remember to pack some healing stones along and slot them on your belt as healing the normal way is not available in this fight. Great guide..thanks!
THANK YOU for killing the enemies beforehand in each area. I am so sick of clicking on a guide and then 3/4 of the time spent is them fighting every enemy on the way there. Great guide, simple and easy to follow, no bs fluff.

If you defeat this boss and get Eerie Tinct and Pumpkin Mask, will they be initially available to other new characters at the start of the game or only to the current character, who completed the Halloween Event?
It's only for that character. I started a new game to check and it wasn't available. Nor was it for my other playthrough characters.

Thanks for the video! Although I should mention I was not able to see the vestige to summon the boss until equipping the Hushed Saint's Gauntlets along with the chest and boots.

Does the red reaper boss also drop the umbral eye of marco? The ones that makes your head glow red. I only need that eye for the all umbral eyes achievement so i could do two things at once 😅

Just did this the areas you got to go to the boss at the end i do not see myself with a new character doing this in time since you need to unlock those areas and defeat there bosses.
Waiting for black friday before picking this game up, didn’t expect seasonal events in a souls like, but looks like I’ll miss this years event

Psh, this game is awesome. I’m having a lot of fun with it, taking my time trying to find everything and do all the quests. There is a ton of stuff to do and a ton of ways to create builds.

Honestly bloodborne was my fav with Sekiro a close second. Lies of P was amazing and closest to bloodborne.....that is until this game. It might be up there as the 3rd best for me.

I have no idea why, but I did all the steps in the video, but when i get to place to summon the halloween boss while wearing the specific armor there is no pumpkin to flay

I was wondering where you got the flaming helmet from?
It's the eye of Marco that makes the red aura. You have to defeat the red death in ombral to get it.
The Red flames are a Eye for the lamp. When you kill the Red Reaper than U get an Eye for the Lamp with the Effekt that all umbrall Mobs bin scard from you and will not Attack you. (And also habe the the Effekt that your Head glows Red)
And this Helmer ist Just a normal Helmet.( But Not with the Red glow )

This is the Umbral Eye of Marco the Axe Guide. This drops from the Red Reaper / Scarlet Shadow.

Yes, this is a temporary event. But the mask does not count toward the armor achievement.
I went to the first location for the pumpkin, but it's simply not there for me. Any Idea why that could be?
I recently started a New Game+0 so I could do some character quests. That's the only thing I can think of that is impeding anything, maybe I have to beat the Hushed Saint again?

Pretty sure you have to killed Atleast the first 4 main bosses. Don’t quote me on that tho.

You need to kill the Hushed Saint for the event stigmas to appear. Found this out last night

The only other way, outside of hoping the game bugs out and lets you buy it again, is to jump into someone else's game and hope they beat that guy so you can buy it from there.

Im so pissed. There is zero chance ill finish this in time, I just started the game.
Make a new character, orian preacher, get a friend to drop trade you pietas sword and get your own so you can dual wield them, get the holy weapon buff from the main guy at the hub, keep an eye out for items that boost holy damage, I beat the game in 9 hours just deleting everything with smite procs like this

Vestiges were added last update. You just have to go there to activate them.

None of the vestiges needed for this event are available in NG+.
On NG+ with no vestiges this will only take about four hours 😅😅😅😅
There are vestiges in NG+, they reverted it slightly. But yes, it's still a pain.
Easyest kill you can do is get corrupted banner javelin and and enhanced banner javelin of protection. throw down a few corrupted ones and just dance around :P use the protection one for healing when needed. 😉

Most of the vestiges needed for this aren't available in NG+.

I give them props for even having an event at all. These devs have been patching this game relentlessly since launch. COD devs don't even patch like this and the company makes millions in micro transactions. Go sit down somewhere sir!
