Excellent summary - I was concerned about multiple layers fitting under my jacket. I plan for a fleece VEST under my snowboarding jacket and I think I will be OK.
Thank you for the great video 👍 Can you tell me where you get sleighs in Rovaniemi/ Luosto? For example at the dark skipark? Where they at your holiday home or do you rent them for a couple of days somewhere?
You mean the sledges yes? We bought ours at the supermarket. There were wooded sledges at our Luosto cabin too, to borrow. There are some to borrow in Levi at the children's ski areas, but not many so best to take your own. Sometimes people leave them after their holiday but you have to be very careful not to take sledges that have been left temporarily outside restaurants and holiday apartments etc. You wouldn't want to ruin a child's holiday by taking their sledge!
Hi, I love your video. Can you link the clothing you've bought plz. I'll be going there in December for 3 nights 4 days with my husband and 5yr daughter .. first time ever experiencing the cold and snow
Sorry for the delay, we were travelling. Yes we wore snow boots as you need to walk through snow to get into the restaurants. You could take trainers/slippers/normal shoes for inside your hotel, if staying in one.
Hi, roughly just for two nights in lapland and two nights in rovaniemi, how many snow jackets and snow pants do we need to take ,because it might get wet and not dry the next day if the accomodation hasnt got any dryers, or does it just dries up when you hang it in the room? Never been to a snowy place so i needed that information 😊
Great video. Thank you so much.
I am going to Lapland in the first week of December this year. This video really helped

Just one jacket and one pair of snow pants. I would say the same even if you were going for a week. They will dry in the room.
