@@leestuart38 It's about fucking time. I've printed more shirts on a 32 year old manual in the last two weeks than you have in your life. Some of us (most) walk the walk. We don't RUclips the talk. Check that cholesterol pal. Unless you have Halloween makeup on. You have issues. I wish you no ill will. But meth and screen printing don't work well together. Ya got a great staff going on there for so much free equipment. Rock on killer.

I've been noticing more and more damaged shirts coming from my suppliers recently too... Nothing like loading a shirt on the press and finding a hole...
It's been insane, I've noticed it more than anything with Bella canvas. I've since switched to American apparel and haven't had a problem
When it happens to you, it feels like it's only happening to you. Good to know I'm not the only one losing my shit over QC.

I’ve noticed it with ANY/ALL brands. Total crap. Comes packaged like shit too and costs 2X as much as it used to.
For sure. Been an ongoing shit show. No one can keep up with demand and retain quality...training new personnel daily is the problem many of these huge companies have been facing.

Dude! The last time you did this shirt I was so pissed that I was broke and was only able to pick up the sticker kit. 2 years later and I finally copped me one of these. Had to pause at around 9 mins on this video, being that my first time ever silkscreening was on a auto roq I’m glad to see you have the same exact set up as me. And the reason why I stopped the vid to comment was to mention I also share your frustration with the company Bella&canvas. Their inventory tends to have holes and bug shit. And I’m in Los Angeles.
It's crazy how bad their stuff has been. I've switched to another brand and haven't had any issues

Oh boy.. our shop has been having INSANE amounts of those same issues with Bella 3001 whites. Sometimes an entire dozen stack is dirty/damaged. Ridiculous. Happy to see that auto finally in action though.
It's crazy how bad these were. I have 200 more white long sleeves for another project that I wanted to do that I'm now scared to look at haha
Cool vid again, been home for a month now, after my vacation in the states, still haven’t done the shirts i wanted to make, been busy or distracted with other things. Been talking to a buddy of mine to buy some stuff like 3d printer en heatpress, plus en vinylcutter for small batches of stickers and other vinyl things for him.
Been loving the shirt i ordered (your purple chrome logo) good fabric feels nice.
Would love to have a shirt but then with the big logo on the front so you can see it on a live stream on twitch.
I'll be restocking the other long sleeve version of this shirt soon, it has the big back print on the front

Fucking love the design bro🤘I had to close down my little shop recently due to family matters but I wanted to say thank you for helping me every step of the way. Without your content I would have been lost in the process. I managed to build a decent size operation with just myself in the home office. You have been such an inspiration and badass with all your techniques and skills and I can't thank you enough. Of course I'm going to keep up and support you anyway I can. Gildan soft style CVC are the same basically for cheaper they are really nice!
Gildan soft style isn't even close to something like B&C, Next level or American apparel. It's a good cheap alternative for lower budgets though

True bella canvas has been terrible since few months, we had so many bad t-shirts so we finally changed the brand and it works well so far!
I've switched too. Done with them for a while

id put down tape on the floor to give you visual queues where its safe to stand near the auto. Could help you some until you get the hang of it.

Actually he was the sole owner back when I made that video. I took ownership of it this year so we can push it further with my shop and skill set, other Lee is still a partner though 👍🏻
New to the sublimation world and your videos have been very insightful. Hope to one day get to this level of ability and competence with my machinery. Currently using and Epson f170 for printing designs and a 8 in 1 heat press that I got off Amazon.. any tips for going from "hobbiest" to "full time"?
The best tip I can give is work your ass off. Eat, sleep and breathe this thing every day to make it into something. I started with nothing but a hat heat press 5 years ago

They're just white led's. As long as you have all white led and no windows or uv sources you're good to go

OMG I used to work ina shop with a auto press and yeah the shirt batches would always have either holes or some kind of oil like stains on them. Seems unavoidable with giant mass production.
It's pretty normal to get a few of them during a big run, but 10 out of 60 is so bad. I checked another box and it was even worse
I haven't had issues with my B&C but my runs are really small....where are you getting the shirts from?
What do you think your next go to would be after Bella & Canvas?

usual dope on a rope! Sweet! I would love to trade settings on your Epson film pos printer. We have a few issues with ours - getting those dark blacks right! If you are up for a screen shot exchange on the settings let me know and I can swapout on email or similar.
No special settings on mine. Just set the paper type to glossy photo paper and you're good to go

If you are using fluorescent tubes, get black light tubes instead, cuts time down to half .

Ok! Never used Bella Canvas but from their marketing which portrays them as some premium brand not expecting such stuff from them.
They used to be exactly that, but it's gone downhill while the prices went up from what I've noticed

@@leestuart38 is it because all the separate colours never overlap, therefore if the screen gets some paint on it from a different colour print it won’t ever cause random marks?
Are you gonna make a video update on why your Ryonet custom press wouldn't register multi color jobs? You kinda left us hanging. Why does your new manual press register but your fancy custom press did not register?

Feels like the Gildan and Bella Canvas warehouses are infested with rats with the amount of shirts we get that have holes in them. We had a batch of light blue shirts with pizza sauce on them.
It's getting crazy. I had one recently where they didn't even bother to sew on a collar
@@leestuart38 Bella canvas has gone down hill ever since Gildan bought them out. I've noticed that the print quality isn't as good either.
@@crumptees when was this acquisition? Heard of Alstyle buyout by Gildan but never Bella Canvas. All in all anything Gildan touches turns to crap already heard complains from Alstyle users and we all know how they completely killed off American Apparel after it's acquisition of which they were only interested with the brand-name. Something tells me they make a kill out of regular tees hence why they seem to buyout most premium t-shirt makers.

@@leestuart38 we switched to them a couple years ago to replace Gildan, and are happy with the decision so far. Your stampinator should lay down all the fibres, fibrillation is the only issue we have with them, and once you can get past that hurdle, they’re pretty nice to deal with.
Have you ever thought importing t-shirts from Peru (Latin American country)? I've heard they have the world's best cotton.
I believe you referring to Supima which is claimed to be a step ontop of Egyptian cotton, which is also grown in USA. All in all processing and not just growing also plays play a big role in the end product that's why most premium t-shirts come from European n western nations (Supima cotton tees usually extremely expensive). Considering the volumes when it comes to importation, you can easily see why that's not always an option for majority in the clothing industry especially tshirts(specifically screen printers).

A small thought… the ink sitting on top of the print arm is a disaster waiting to happen.
I can attest to how bad those things hurt when you get caught between them.
I've heard stories. Definitely something I'm going to be very mindful about since I work alone most of the time
