Rich Dad Poor Dad Complete audio book Robert kiyosaki | Poor Dad Rich Dad Audiobook 2024

- INTRODUCTION
The book is the story of a person (the narrator and author) who has two fathers: the first was his biological father - the poor dad - and the other was the father of his childhood best friend, Mike - the rich dad. Both fathers taught the author how to achieve success but with very disparate approaches. It became evident to the author which father's approach made more financial sense. Throughout the book, the author compares both fathers - their principles, ideas, financial practices, and degree of dynamism and how his real father, the poor and struggling but highly educated man, paled against his rich dad in terms of asset building and business acumen.
The author compares his poor dad to those people who are perpetually scampering in the Rat Race, helplessly trapped in a vicious cycle of needing more but never able to satisfy their dreams for wealth because of one glaring lack: financial literacy. They spend so much time in school learning about the problems of the world, but have not acquired any valuable lessons about money, simply because it is never taught in school. His rich dad, by contrast, represents the independently wealthy core of society who deliberately takes advantage of the power of corporations and their personal knowledge of tax and accounting (or that of their financial advisers) which they manipulate to their advantage.
The book’s theme reduces to two fundamental concepts: a can-do attitude and fearless entrepreneurship. The author highlights these two concepts by providing multiple examples for each and focusing on the need for financial literacy, how the power of corporations contribute to making the wealthy even wealthier, minding your own business, overcoming obstacles by not fostering laziness, fear, cynicism and other negative attitudes, and recognizing the characteristics of humans and how their preconceived notions and upbringing hamper their financial freedom goals.
The author presents six major lessons which he discusses throughout the book:
◾The rich don’t work for money
◾The importance of financial literacy
◾Minding Your own business
◾Taxes and corporations
◾The rich invent money
◾The need to work to learn and not to work for money

I just turned 43 yrs old and have been grinding hard at my current job for the last 9yrs on 3rd shift. I m a single dad with a 9yrd old boy. I hope it's not too late for me. I love my boy and want to give him a great life. I'm just getting by at the moment but I will do what it takes to come out ahead. I knew from a young age working the 9-5 was not normal, it never did feel normal to me. I watched my pop's slave away only to retire at an old age and be too weak to enjoy his retirement. I don't want to end up like that. And I don't want my boy to end up like that either. I feel I came across this audiobook for a reason. Thank you for posting this audiobook.
Wish the best for you, if your thinker is young in spirit and malleable it's never too late.
Watching others fail or succeed is a great way to learn.
It’s never too late. McDonald’s started at 56 and KFC at 70. Unless you’re a moron who can only do things that he’s told, it should be no issue
First, congratulations for seeking change. It's never too late. I recommend the book "The power of the Subconscious Mind" by Dr Joseph Murphy to everyone looking for change. This book is an excellent start as well. Your circumstances don't matter anything can be changed. Best of luck to you!!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
@@justjasmine1110 totally agree Dr Joseph Murphy’s books are a definite read! I read 3 of his books. Unmistakably clear! Created a massive shift in how I feel, my thought selections and choices I make on everything including my-self views. Powerful movement!
Reading books has really skyrocket the way I think about investing. Indeed, no one has ever got rich by saving money. If you want to become financially free, You need to Invest. I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments.
Yeah, You're Right! According to a book writer; ‘What everyone needs is to work with a financial advisor, who can help you get in and out of any investment at any time and you'd sure be in profit.
Whichever firm you select, make sure you get your insurance from a reputable financial adviser, such as *Jenny Pamogas Canaya,* who has dedicated her career to financial planning. Because they will assist you in escalating, navigating better, and completing the task in a safer manner.||
I've come across several positive endorsements of Jenny Pamogas Canaya on various platforms, including RUclips channels, seminars, and more._

I'm 30 years old and I originally heard of this book when I was still in high school. I do regret not taking it seriously back then. 15 years of working jobs without a solid financial understanding and nothing to show for it in the long run as a result. Time to take control of things for my 2 boys' sake. I wont feel satisfied until I'm sure my efforts create a foundation for them instead of influencing them to repeat my choice to waste so much time. So as I learn financial literacy I'm doing my best to explain it to them as well.

I haven’t finished this audio yet but I already have about 30% ideas about being rich, that’s very amazing 🤩🤩🤩
Ideas mean nothing until you apply them, fail a half dozen times, continue applying them and then FINALLY see the results you sought to achieve. After listening to many audio real estate and wealth building books (from local library for free) in 2019. Rich dad poor dad and richest man in Babylon are definitely the gateway drug. I bought 5 properties late 2019 through 2021. 4 winners 1 dog. Yes anyone can do this.
@jw jw ....it is possible to connect with you to get some insight on how you managed to do so?
I would like your insight on how you able to get the properties. Thanks for your time
Help me 😬😬😬👀
How did you start out
So in 2019 you were already wealthy enough to buy 5 properties?
This book changed my life. I just quit my job, cashed out my 401k, and now I run my own business selling ice door to door. Sales are a bit slow, but I'm determined to make it work. My family's lives depend on it.
Genius!
I wish you well.
Hw r u doing now
Lol
But are you buying assets and reinvesting?
I never read, not much time to. Last week, there were two guys working on the house next door from me accompanied by their manager/boss who was sitting in the driveway in a new MASERATI LEVANTE. The car got my attention immediately so I approached it. I asked the driver of the car what was going on at the house they were working on, he said they were getting it ready for rental. I complimented his car and told him I would like to be able to afford one myself, he told me that he started out poor, but after reading this book it changed his life along with hard work and dedication ( very modest) . The next day only the workers were there and not the man in the MASERATI, I asked one of the workers “your boss seems like he’s doing well in life, what exactly does he do? They told me that he does Real Estate and owns 300-400 properties. That blew my mind because I’ve never heard of anyone owning that many properties, I didn’t even think it was possible, so I’m about to start listening to this book .
This book changed my mindset towards wealth/rich. A very good book .
Same!
I read this book a while back, and the advice from it is stuck in my head ever since. And when I see people who have the employee's mindset, I always get so sad. For example, a while back, my friends and I were talking about what we want to study. And one of them said "My parents said they will help me with the expenses my Freshman year. From then on, I'll just apply for credit". And I asked "Well, okay, what will you do to pay that debt back and even more?" "I'll get a good job." "And while you are in college?" "I'll find a part-time job somewhere." "Are you not scared of that debt? Don't you want to avoid it?" "No. Credit is the way through life." And that's when I knew that all of my friends, except one who backed me, are born to be employees. And it's sad. They said their worst fear is to live on the streets, I said my worst fear is to work 9-5. I tried to shift their perspective, but they were not having it. It's okay, you can't change some people.
Edit: right now this guy is presenting in front of my class about different careers in programming. He said that we should work hard for our employers and everything will be fine... I'm glad I found this book.
I get your point, but you can also use credit as advantage. Let's say you got 10k and you want to buy motorcycle that costs 10k. Now you can go and buy it, but you will loose the opportunity to invest that money. If you take low interest loan for that bike and invest your 10k, then by the time you have paid off your loan you will have your bike AND maybe 15k, 20k, 30k whatever number on top of that from your investments. Don't waste time.

It would have been nice to have found this book earlier in life, as my parents taught me everything that 'Poor Dad' taught (exact replica). I will surely pass this on to my kids and grandchildren one day. I've listened to this in one day and I will definitely invest in buying the book...my go to book for life. 💯👌🏻
It shows you EXACTLY how many people are actually poor minded. They make money off the poor
NEVER too late.
Never too late..
I'm 60 and just now realizing I was raised to be useful rather than successful and how i viewed my worth as to how much others were willing to use me rather than creating my own success. Never too late and never too soon to change everything!
@@lisad6106 I am in my 60's and you are right, its never too late.
It’s crazy because when I started working at 16, the money wasn’t what I was chasing. It was the knowledge and experience I gained, that was of value to me. By the age of 21 I was selling cars at a dealership. A year later I started working for the airport and been there ever since. Not for the money though, although it’s good. My main reason is the connection I make there. That’s something money could never buy. Now all the knowledge and experience I gained over the years benefits all my connections and in return the compensation be greater than money could have brought me being stagnant at one job.
How did you build your net?
Great book! As an 18 year old who has already been interested in stocks and real estate this book opened a lot more doors for me. Highly recommend parents to have their children read this book someday.
Awesome 👍
@@mifrahmuzzamil8906 I'll give you a great playbook for your first couple of steps in life. First step is build your credit, there are a lot of resources to help you there.
Your first goal should be to save for a down payment on your first property. You need to find a duplex. You can get an owner occupied loan because you live in the unit. This means you are only required to put down 3%. As opposed to 20% if you were just buying a property as an investment. You rent the other side of the duplex. The money from the rent will cover the mortgage or most of it, depending on the property. You live there for two years.... And you do it again. This time renting both sides on your original property. You keep doing this as many times as you want. Continuously acquiring properties until you're tired of doing it. This will be a great revenue stream and help you acquire many assets, giving you a great foundation for your future endeavors. Good luck young man

Instead read real books. Because I have the same eye problems
Feedback: I listened it full. Thank you so making such a excellent book on financial intelligence required to understand the basics of financial literacy.
This is good stuff. I'm 16. Started my business a few weeks ago and now am closing in on 2 clients.
How is it coming along mate? I hope it's all working out well for you!
Reading this as a successful business owner makes me realize that if it doesn’t come natural to you, if you aren’t naturally interested, open minded, and fearless, whether you read this book or not you will never be rich.
True. Some people prefer staying in the "safe" background with their hard work and debts that they would pass on to their children. You can't change them.
If everyone were rich and able to become rich, you'd have no rats to make you money.
The ole all chiefs no Indians analogy.
@@chriscrawl3732 lol I believe if everyone is rich then no one is rich.
This wasn't that revolutionary. I think you're right. I started my first business because I hated my pay. Made triple what I did before. But it seemed like a really simple, easy solution that didn't take a scientist to figure out.
Thanks a million I’m almost finished listening to this book and I know change is coming and I know I need to listen it again and again.

@krevin2008, and applying the knowledge as we go 💪🏿💪🏿
Feedback:- Great book!! Really if u want to understand the circle of money then u should surely read this masterpiece.
Notes
Qualities of rich dad
- make quick decisions
- be quiet, man of few words
- recognises hard work is a lesson.life pushes you around.
- dont give up when work gets hard. dont let life push you into submission
- stop blaming job as problem. Changing yourself is easier than others
- be driven by passion not fear. If you have fear when dealing with money it will keep you working at a job.
- don't react to money with emotion. Greed when have it and fear when you don't. Admit your feelings and think ABT it. Avoidance or attachment to money is both as bad. Use your mind and emotions in your favour. Be an Observer to your emotions NOT a reactor. DO your own thinking. E.g. fear of not having money generates thought 'i need job'... Vs 'will a job be best solution to this fear long term?' (answer: no. It's a short term solution to long term problem). See the trap! AVOID THE TRAP Caused by fear/desire.... LEARN TO UTILISE IT IN YOUR FAVOUR.
Lesson
- have money work for you not work for money
- financial struggle= caused by fear n ignorance
Time stamps: 1:14:00 -
- knowledge> ignorance
- identify emotional thinking vs logical/head thinking
- money is not 'real'
- money you keep> money you make
This audiobook is life changing, the wise will listen and become wiser.
Thank you for this, heard a lot about this book. I wish I know this information when I was young. Now I shared with my kids since they are now young adults and working. I can only give them info I think it is good, the rest is up to them. My only wish is they all become financial independence one day.
We're currently in a recession the government is too afraid to announce. I recently just entered the middle class tax bracket and I'm experiencing more tax deductions with limited leisure. If there were ever a time to educate yourself on financial literacy now is the perfect time to read this book.
Really is, there’s even been a boost in viewers for videos about how the economy works and etc
I am, and will be the person I am destined to be, and so will you, remember, you are HERE LISTENING TO THIS AUDIO!!! Follow your greatness, you are on the right path
If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you, prevent inflation from eroding your savings, build generational wealth, and cultivate good habits and financial knowledge, you must be in the market.
You are absolutely right, we also have lots of expert, real ones with certificate and firm IDS out there waiting for investors,
It’s easy to say but every time I think the market will go up, it goes down and vice versa. As much As I try to understand the stock markets I just don’t have a clue. I don’t dare put any money in it because I’m sure I will lose it. Some of us just don’t have instincts for investing.
Life is a struggle between ignorance and information.

I want to learn how to deal with my fears it's not only I'm being controlled by fears, Fears is in my personality Everytime I'm explaining I'm stuttering like fears stop my thoughts. Fears stop my vision to become reality. I want to apply in what I learn in this book to put my emotions on how it could be benefit me and think clearly. Once I manage to deal with these I could grow as I am!! what do you guys could suggest to me to grow as human???. Cause my parent did not invest a or build a strong foundation to me that's why I got poor mentality. But I'm willing to change big, big changes. Anyways I'm 19 years old.
Great mindset. Read. A lot. Become obsessed with personal development. Listen to podcasts and interviews with highly successful people. Get up early. Fill up your days with productive activities, eat healthy, and exercise. Cut out all of your distractions like social media, drugs and alcohol. Surround yourself with high achievers and focus on your goals.
@@DanKurzRealEstate thanks man it means a lot.
Although personal development is good, it is vanity. What do your accomplishments mean when you die? I assure you, once you have everything you want, you will still feel empty. Your need is LIFE. The life that I speak of is in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
God's intention when He created man was that we would contain His life and express Him. However, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23. No amount of personal development can remove your sin! The negative thoughts you are having are a result of Satan injecting himself in to your mind. I know this because I was depressed for two and a half years. I believed that self development was the solution, but my inability to keep my word made me even more depressed! However, by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God set me free from sin. The blood of Jesus washes and cleanses us from every sin. When Christ died, all men died. Satan, the old creation, sin, the flesh, and the self were all crucified on the cross and buried! When Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, the Lord Jesus proved to the world that He had conquered all of the negative things that plague man. He now sits at the right hand of God in power, majesty, and glory. This Jesus whom I speak of loves you dearly and wants to have a relationship with you.
If you want to experience this wonderful Person RIGHT NOW, just openly confess with your mouth, "Lord Jesus! Although I am a sinner, your precious blood has washed me and purified my heart. I believe that You died for my sins and that God raised You from the dead on the third day! Thank You for the gift of eternal life! Amen."
@@TheNoobyGuy1 I did not mention the importance of expressing gratitude every day. God alone gives us the ability to be successful in whatever we do. The ultimate goal should be to not only find happiness but also fulfillment and I believe you find both when you feel you are reaching your full potential as a human being. Along with that, being financially free to then give back to others in as many ways as you can will bring happiness and fulfillment. Finding ways to leave a positive lasting legacy for those after you should be the ultimate goal in all of our lives.
Go to a therapist, I'm not joking, I believe strongly in therapy even if takes time, but it does wonders 💯
