His birthday was yesterday. Loved him.
Very nice guy. Met him several times in the 80’s at his Beverly Hills facility. He really cared about people. RIP Richard.
He helped so many people get healthier. Such an inspiration. Rest in Peace ❤️🩹
No he didn't.
He made others healthier but yet he didn’t really live a healthy lifestyle himself which is so funny. From what I have heard he had mental issues that he was dealing with. He was suppose to appear in the General Hospital nurses ball a few years ago but canceled because he was dealing with either personal issues or mental issues something like that.
Rest in Peace Mr Simmons. Our condolences and Prayers for family. 💔🙏🏻
Richard Simmons rest in peace 💙🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
We joked about him when we were kids but I never heard one bad word about that man in the media which is rare for any celebrity I truly believe he was a good man that just wanted to help people, there's nothing wrong with that. fly high Mr Simmons add rest in peace 🕊️🕊️

He retired early and lived out of sight a long time. He sounded like he had a peaceful rest of his life
This wonderful man will be very missed.
Not by normal people.
@@20alphabetwhat was abnormal about him? He never dated, he's on record saying he doesn't have time for a personal life and God told him his mission is to help people, isn't that what Christianity is supposed to be?
Rest In Peace 😔
I’m so sorry, RIP Milton Teagle "Richard" Simmons
A very likeable person. Sad to hear he has passed away.
I loved the skits between him and letterman
This proves that even tho ur healthy it could all be over tomorrow. Hold onto those you love closely . Rest up richy ❤
Eccentric antics? How about authentically expressive and endearing? He never got the respect he deserved from those who misunderstood him. But the rest of us loved him. 💞
I hated Richard when I was young about 14 years old. And he was always on tv in the 90s. His commercials interrupted my cartoons lol I loved eating and hated work out 😂 RIP Richard 🙏😞condolences.
Another legend gone.
Something had been wrong with him for years. He was a recluse for some years and there was cause for concern and now he is dead. Too bad.
My condolences to his family and friends rest in heaven 📜

I remember stopped at a signal at an intersection in Venice when in front of me was a corvette with a license plate that read "YRUFAT". I thought to myself " that is really rude". So when the light changed, I sped up and switched lanes to see who was driving and saw it was Mr Simmons! RIP Richard Summons. You were so genuine and inspiring to many.

First of all, all due respects to Richard. Shame that his birthday was supposedly yesterday. Did he upload a last video? Are his videos similar to Zomba?

He died the day after his 76th birthday. Strange.
sad
Again?
Sooo...a fitness guru who did try to remain fit...dies at a very average age for death, of probable heart disease. As a 77yo, overweight guy myself, I am convinced that everyone has a pre-scheduled death, and being extra-fit has very little to do with it! Thanks to modern medicine, I am still here, feeling pretty good, after two heart-related procedures, and also enduring radiation treatments for prostate cancer. I wonder if Simmons was a guy who shied away from working with doctors...maybe like the late Jim Fixx, who ignored-according to his wife--a couple of bad episodes of heart/chest pain...insisting that he was in way too good of shape,to worry about such medical problems!!! Ignore symptoms at your own risk!
I tend to agree. The Bible says It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the Judgement. So we have an appointment, the way I see it. We just don't know when that appointment is. How we eat and live can make our time here healthy or sickly, but probably not longer or shorter.
@curbozerboomer1773, great comment. I totally agree. And I would say heavy strength training, heavy lifting done in commercial gyms, really does more damage than good. It compresses the spine and herniates discs, and creates a lifetime of shoulder and knee pain, that gym goers wear as a badge of honor lol.Gym culture is over rated.
Seems like people in the Hollywood world are dropping from left to right faster than ever. I wonder why 🤔
I made you think about Richard Simmons 12 incher
All that promotion of exercise and he passed at a normal average age, actually, too soon. That exercise did not extend longevity. Going off on a side topic, I think heavy strength training, bodybuilding, powerlifting does more damage than good. Gym goers who partake in them get compressed spines, herniated discs, and a lifetime of shoulder and knee pain. Then they wear these injuries as badges of honor. They are an ortho surgeon and pain management doctors dream come true because they keep them in business. Gym culture is way over rated. Going to gyms to strain is a waste of time.( And I used to be a gym goer).

Sad all my favorites have died. My father. Not my favorite has died. So its ok to take my lfe away. ???
Besides Hostess going under back in 2012, the death of Richard Simmons on July 13, 2024 is another sad day for FATTIES everywhere.
Interesting.. natural pfyzer causes?..
Was it Aids.
?
Nobody dies from AIDs these days unless you live in a 3rd world like Africa or Middle East. Grow up they just said he died of natural causes.
Yes, it was.
All that fitness to die at mid 70s nah am good
If it werent for excercise, probably 60s
Good by george Clooney

Damn, he's gone, but they missed Trump today. Life is so unfair. RIP.
Your ability to comment is proof of that.
@@20alphabet Aww are you sad about Orange Jesus putting ketchup on his ear to make it look like he got shot? Feel better, little guy lol 😂
