I agree regarding Rune.. Sometimes he looses to himself in periods and other times he plays absolute world class top tennis in periods. He now have risen to top 7 in the world so no doubt that when it comes down to reality most wont beat him. And beating Rune when he consistently plays to his best are close to impossible. Best not to forget he beat 5 top 10 ranked players in a week in the end of 2022.
@@holdingcourtwithpatrickmcenroe I just subscribed:-) Well, I think its interesting to hear more about how you see the battle of the young guns; Alca, Rune, Sinner, o'connel etc vs the old youngsters; Rublev, hurkazs, Ruud. as the good double player you were (ranked just beneith Edberg and the brothers) you come across very competent:-)) Btw I am from denmark
I agree Patrick and Rune has a lot of fire in his belly and he's very driven. He can get on people's nerves. I don't have to mention your brother and Jimmy Connors, but I will 😂 But yeh let's see what Rune can do. I think he's a winner.
Novak and Rafael’s days at the top might soon come an end due to their age - and a new generation will take over. 👍🏻 Remember you most as a double player - but can see that you once have lost one tight finale to you brother … so no gifts given😉
