I'm looking forward to your partnership with Holger! He was playing very aggressively against Tsitsipas in Stockholm and his volleys were very impressive. Best of luck to you!

I think it's very sad that Patrick has not got more involved in Stef Tsitsipas' team. I'm coming to the belief that Stefs father is a big stumbling block to Stef going any further 😒
Tsitsipas need to get Ljubicic to help fix his backhand now that Roger is retired, if Tsitsipas gets that backhand to almost Roger 2017 level he may start winning slams
Rune won in Paris after beating 5 top 10 players in a week, finishing of with Djoko, the worlds current number 1. That actually are tennis history because Rune did this entering the tournament as an unseeded player. Has not happened before in a ATP tournament of this calibre. Rune began January 2022 outside top 100 (122) and January 2023 were top 10 in the world. Runes overall goal for the year were to end 2022 as number 25, so a high target he set for himself, yet he passed it. This year his officially stated goal are to take his first Grandslam. He now have climbed to rank 7.
See Holger or rather his team are humble enough to realise that on their own steam they do not believe he can go to the next level. They know their limitations. That is possibly the big difference between Holger's team and Stefanos' team. Stefanos seems stuck on a certain level. No doubt it is a high level but we see Stefanos losing more matches in the final and even earlier rounds. While his opponents are adapting and making changes, Stefanos' team seem to be unaware or denying the fact that they have reached a ceiling. It is a pity since Stefanos brings a lot to the game. He could be really great but in a sad way his own team deny him that chance.
Holger has the killer instinct to end the point at any shot and any location on the court and the control to pull it off. Like Alcaraz they have uncommon power and control at 19. Rune, Alcaraz and Sinner could be juggling spots 1, 2 and 3 for 10 years.
@@wierdwabbitt Yes Felix is finally showing his potential. He's definitely a serious threat recently winning 3 tournaments in a row. Very powerful and athletic like Carlos.
Yes Rune is also very strong and athletic, I think Sinner is having issues cos he started playing at an older age compared to the others, so his body has less time to adapt to the rigours of competitive tennis, how ever he has fantastic fundamentals.
Not really an interview, if it was it would be a bad interviewer. Patrick just gave someone on his team the list of questions he wanted asked so that he could share the specific info he wanted to get out there to fit the narrative and avoid brewing controversy
Hello Patrik, I am delighted with your work. I wanted to ask you something. I started playing tennis at the age of 7, very quickly I showed good results and a lot of talent. Due to personal problems and injuries, I had to take breaks. Now I am 20 years old, I haven't played tennis for 6 months, I have a huge desire to start playing it again and try to play professionally. Is it too late for that? Thanks anyway.
WATTT??? Did you see him with Tsitsipas in Stockholm just a few days ago?? He was ripping some laser beam forehands, Tsitsi couldn't even get his racket on the ball. What are you saying?
Without knowing them my impression is that Tsitsipas parents are not open to have anyone else coach their son. His father does come across as someone who is humble enough to realise that. On the other hand I do not know them so this is just my impression. At the same time I have been saying that if Stefanos does not change something in his team he will forever be stuck on this level. Its a high level no doubt but its not enough to be #1 nor to win finals like the one against Holger. That is the hard reality.
Yes unfortunately that is one point that is probably one of the most difficult. He is an aggressive player. My impression is that he definitely has to improve on that note. Then again - not every player can be as professional as Nadal. Nadal is an example of fairness and respect. Neither Holger nor Carlos have that. My opinion.
@@thomasnyborg6233 He disrespected Stef in september 2021. It's always pathetic when Danes trash talk Holger Rune on the internet. Don't search his name when you're this angry at him.
Regarding the Halep ban issue. I think it's funny how we hear the standard defense on all these types of incidents. I didn't do it. I would never cheat. I didn't " knowingly " put anything banned into my body. A drug test does not lie. A professional is solely responsible for what they put into their body, their team is 2nd in line responsible! . Ignorance is not an excuse! It's hard to believe that so many people are naive enough to believe that pro athletes compete " natural " without the aid of performance enhancing drugs 🤣 Every athlete at the top or near the top use some form of EPO. The human body cannot recover to train with the intensity required to be a top pro day in and day out 6 days a week for 5 hours / day, no matter your genetics or physical conditioning. Wear and tear is the same on everyone that pushes beyond the threshold of normal. Really? What is EPO? Are you talking erythropoietin? What do you mean "some form of EPO"? Some supplements in order to recover from muscle damage are common and they are not illegal but I don't believe all pro athletes all use "illegal enhancing" drugs.
I doubt he will. In a weird way it will add to the excitement of the encounters. He will no doubt win many times but also lose many times. Those losses will not be pretty from what we hve seen so far. However maybe he will prove us wrong.

Who cares about Tsitsipas, he's never winning a slam. Holger will dominate tennis within the next few years.
Just imagine if all tour could be treated by Patrick, what kind of level it would be from the point of competition...
