So glad that you're back! I'm one of those that found your geese during the off season, they really helped me calm down at times during a stressful semester. Today I submitted my last assignment and I open RUclips to this, what a happy surprise!
Such a lovely surprise to see Sam and the geese back at the pond! It is so calming and enjoyable to watch them swimming along on the water and their interaction with you! Thanks for the longer video's and talking about how they interact as a flock. I don't know how anyone in their right mind could dislike or make nasty comments about these video's. Awesome! The day I subbed is the day they're back.I love birds and feed the birds in my yard every day along with the squirrels. I had my squirrel friend that came in my window every day, but he's gone now. I have a video of him coming in the window. I would have taken more video if I knew I wouldn't see him again.

honque! It shouldn't be surprising to me that animals have a memory with recognition (as my chickens sometimes disprove), but these wonderful birds stun me with their intelligence!
No just the unofficial minder of them while they're at the pond , Ithe city has parks staff I've seen them out working on maintaining the island, and sometimes have to remove eggs if the goose has been nesting past due. Sometimes the place where they winter is involved with veterinary things etc during the pond months as well I think.
Great that they are back! I also wanted to ask,if you are an NHL Fan and if you are watching on a streaming platform,because i always see someone who named his account 'Sullivans Goose' in the chat.

How can you tell who is who? Like towards the end of the compilation video, multiple started running up to you. Used to be able to tell sam apart because she was either the smallest or the only one to run up to you. Now, neither of those things are true lol.

Thanks for the kind words. The flock is looking healthier than ever, they had new enclosures for winter and I think it did them well.
