Hey guys, Vycery here.
For clarification I'll explain some things.
First, why didn't I used the bows from our "MHW Iceborne | All 5 Best Elemental Endgame Bow Builds"? This right here is a speedrun. To do the most damage possible in the shortest amount of time is the goal. The sets in the Build video are primarily for general use. Please take that into consideration.
I did some testing before accepting this quest and these are my conclusions.
The Zinorge Bow has more Raw Attack than the Tobi-Kadachi, but less element. Zinorge did, with all buffs, 101 with 1 arrow from Spread Shot Level 4, whilst the Tobi-Kadachi did 98. Only 3 damage difference right? This might not be very much, but in the longrun this could be the damage you are missing. Throughout all the testing, Gold Rathian seems to have a higher Raw HZV than Elemental HZV compared to normal Rathian. This is the only reason I used Zinorge.
On to Silver Rathalos. That one is tricky. Coral Pukei will do around 2 more damage per arrow. That's a fact. I did some testing here as well and surprisingly, the most important reason is the usage of Para. Since I am not able to stun Silver Rathalos a second time fast enough, he will move around and I have a much harder time hitting the head and do damage. The solution: Para Shots. The damage I lose from the stats, I can pull out whilst Rathalos is paralysed. With is strat, I can immobilise Rathalos as long as possible and get more damage in.
These sets are built specifically for this quest. I hope you can understand that.

@@arcaniumdragon2444 Hit Zone Values, the % of the damage a part recives when u attack it, if it has higher Raw HZV than Elemental it means raw hits harder on that part. (the part being the head, when broken.)
Is normal shot lvl2 and spread lvl2 more important than Crit eye 7 and Wex 3?
To me the most impressive part is when they flex on me by not carving

Mike Cheng sane never know what new optimal set might come out meaning you uses different monsters weapon I don’t already have and have to craft up from LR cause some of them don’t have HR/MR start points, so I always carve everything (and a lot of them can be used for melding or having the handler oven roast to get me rations)
and it took me 18 minutes to kill a regular rathian with a bow
Mr rathian 3 mins with the safi greatsword, gold rathian 3 carts and a quest failed
I try to doing this and surprisingly ended the quest faster than this video, with my 3 carts.😂

@@SH1NK1R01 ive seen a lot of bow players worried when they read IB patch notes "bow MV will be nerf, KO build up for arc shot will be nerf". They forgot about MR weapons stats, element atk rework and things like upgraded evasion and impact mantles, normal and spreadshot lvl2, etc
If anything bow didn't get nerfed enough.
iceborne isnt fully out a month and tds is already destroying endgame content ... geez guys ... i dont think capcom is that fast to give you enough content

it's probably just an exception for metal raths. They might have some weird hitzones that make these bows a better matchup or something.
You don't understand the playstyle. He needed affinity booster with this build, only charge and spread and the monster must die in 3min. Overall this set is only top for this quest and playstyle. Tobi and the others are the better ele bows

late to the party on this one but I just bought Iceborne and have multiple questions if someone can clarify. First, which attack is that with the ? The only attacks I get are the Slinger pod burst for breaking and the standard slash that flings you in the air to drop ammo. Second, my Palico has been a healer this whole time so what are you using? Third, is affinity booster and impact mantle recommended on all builds? I just got guiding lands so all I have are my bows.

Always hit weakspots w the bow or any weapon rlly, if ur numbers aren’t yellow ur hitting the wrong spot.
That’s for pure damage of course, you’ll eventually have to break or attack parts that aren’t ideal because of positioning but I digress, w bow you have to bring the correct element as well as power phials

As cool as firing an artow from across the map and severing a tail is, it's all for naught if you eat 50 minutes doing it.
Charging shots and general playstyle changes will always be the largest dps gain with any weapon.
I tried the bow many times with full dmg skills but i think my ps4 is hacked ?! thats why i i was gating 3 to 5 dmg per 5 shots

Its because the 100% full fight immune to damage dodge spamming combined with "true critical Element" is begging for a nerf im confident capcom just fucked up again i mean they put bone designs on the most iconic weapons & brought back brachydios without bringing in the kelbi sting shot. Makes me feel like they rushed ice borne just for the money

Yeah well the build they showed us are in general good builds and he told us what to focus on (like constitution). However this is a speedrun, the builds are for glass canons and not everyday builds.
Specific build for only this run. 3min for 1monster with affinity booster, spread 2, only charge and spread = raw. The builds they showed are better.
@@18Jeykey They had afiinity booster meaning they can push raw with the zinogre and namielle weapons, but this is a speedrun and booster is unreliable for casual play
Yeah he only had 2 levels in Crit eye on the first build, if you want to rely on affinity booster and lose so much DPS because you are not even crit’ing often after affinity booster runs out but have [True Crit Element] set bonus is really ironic 😂😂 its up to you

How did you get constitution 3 and stamina surge and the second point of the critical eye? What jewels are you using

For real. I use a bow for almost everything and I’m still trying to figure out how to get my dmg that high
Brennon Hobson It’s not really feasible in normal play. You can see in his build, that he doesn’t have very much natural affinity in order to slot in all the other damage boosts. Then he uses the affinity booster to make up for it. He’s also fully buffed with the evasion mantle boost.
How do you go from 60 per hit to a 100 per hit? What skill activ?
no skill, the head HZV changes after you break it.
Evasion mantle probably? Plus other stuff. Also I think elemental weakness increases when you break Rathian's head.
You combine all the regular buffs with "true critical Element"

There is a food skill called Feline Provoker that draws the monsters attention
Can I have your full build? Decorations and all? My bows only do a max of 40 damage per arrow and im 100% lost on how im doing less than half of your dmg per arrow.

Read the pinned comment, he says this build used was specifically designed for this speedrun, the other builds he showed way back are for general use. He uses the affinity booster so he can push more raw with this speedrun build
I wish that they could have added the ancient tower back in. To fight silver& gold there. Also (white) fatalis and Juiced up dual G-Rank Kirins. God that was a nightmare. But I live the map, it felt so earie, so epic.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it pointless to run crit boost on an elemental set? It shouldn’t affect your damage output seeing as how you’re attacking for elemental damage n crit boost affects your raw...

Imagine if bow wasn't nerfed. Monster would just give you their mantle straight up.
The nerf to bows and duel blades was to compensate for the elemental buff
Gives me something to aspire to....also, the music sounds like a mashup of Mannheim Steamrollers and crazy anime opening credit music....but surprisingly not in a bad way. Could use some more awesome guitar shreds, though.

打点の高さの違い、でしょうかね？攻撃7を仮に積んでも羽々矢は稚雷には届かず、属性値ではトントン。回避は攻撃力をupしてくれるので稚雷の方がバフスキルも含め、火力を出せるという事かと
