Safi's Sapphire Star is much easier to avoid than ecliptic meteor. As far as damage concerned you're right but as for it's being a threat to hunters, I would put it at 3rd place as well.
@@crowbarfish0812 Eh i think it's more because with the Health boost armor skill you gain 50HP on top of the base 100 and then if you eat 5 fresh food you gain another 50 HP for 200HP which in the Alatreon fight means you have a better chance of surviving the judgement using this method as you'd have 200HP that the damage has to get through instead of just 100 or 150...hell the one guy that died may have been the only one without either the Health boost skill or forgot to eat for the additional HP which would explain why he died (personally i doubt he forgot either since it looked like each of their HP was decreasing at a different rate so it's more likely he just lost all his HP before the rest of them and the final potion wasn't used in time to save him).
I know that the randoms can be very bad, but if you bring the set of the kulve and a piece of armor of your choice and as soon as you see someone with critical health you drink a megapotion or two no one can die, with free meal it is as if you had them infinite, in addition to this uses widerange and you're done. Yesterday in 3 attempts only 1 went wrong, some players do not know how to dodge. I can share the set if someone need , you can have really good dps with Op comfort skills.

Some players(not me yet, rusty af from spamming classice pc games) have found it better to solo it. Bring pailco with healing tool and do you'r best to dps any elem in. Because each extra player does add to the difficulty of the hunt. Mainly if they and you are not in some type of setup to start with.
Alternatively you could also run a support/heal build like taroth Mr. I know most laugh at that idea, but I found out especially with randos that it increases your chances of success

Alatreon's EJ can be considered deadly if your party can't pass thru its elemental DPS check at least once as seen in the video start => equipment requirement. Even pro teams required a very coordinated teamwork if they want to live thru the EJ if without passing a single check as you see at later part. But once your team got the equipment, you can pretty much battle Alatreon in just normal ways since the first elemental damage check is quite easy to pass at that. Now then for Safi, ALeshen and behemoth, their supernova-moves maybe one shot. But they can be passed without any equipment requirement unlike Alatreon = easier thus lower rank. There is no undergear pressure there, so as long those know what to do, there is no problem. But here is the thing with extreme Behe: There is DPS check like Alatreon. Fail to pass = Extrememoth will cast eclipse without dropping comets, multiple times also, in short gaps (about every 1/2 to 2 minutes). Pretty sure there are less players here who could avoid that consisttenly more than 3 to 4 jumps compared to simply grind for elemental weapons against Alatreon. The DPS check and punishment of failing it are what made extremoth spikes up compared to the normal version. Sort like: Safi, normal behemoth, Leshen: I can do it even undergeared and no item. Just as long everyone take cover or if leshen then stay away. Alatreon: Don't worry, got plenty of healing items here. Just need some skills like recovery up, speed eating, wide-blabla 5 and HB3. Pretty sure that only boosts the healing from items. Recovery Booster isn't an item, so no dice. Similar to how that doesn't improve healing from temporary damage recovery, or from interactables in the world.
All you need to do is direct anyone that finds any boss hard; to team darkside and they will see how to win. If I can't get past something I look here every time and then I win. Just not as fast or as clean as TDS.
Even then your team would have to coordinate the timing perfectly. The whole team can't just spam jerky at the same time. It needs to be a train effect one after another within fractions of a second with each other. And thats not gonna happen in randoms or at least not on purpose.
and if you do it after deal lot of elemental damage (wich means you will reduce the nova damage), you can combine 4 health booster without potion in 150 total HP. It will reduce your panic attack (player)

I've been playing 3u lately and after trying to beat alatreon for 4 hours my tired brain almost made shortcircuit for a moment after hearing it, didn't know where I was or what was happening.
Problem is when this franchise starts tailoring its monsters with people like TDS in mind. Not that I say that they should appeal to players going into this with Brachy weapons, but a healthy term inbetween would be nice indeed.
You could increase the amount of healing received by the health booster by using Recovery Up, which would increase the window of timing for eating astera jerky and make it easier.
Yeah I did this just last night with randoms (not nekkid tho) 3 of us had wide range and we were spammin jerky, no mantles, boosters or 4th hunter needed, just 3 jerky and wide range spammers, ultimately we lost the fight tho due to one less-than-adequate hunter and a slip up in the beginning, I had to record it and watch it over to make sure.
Just slap together a alatreon LBG fire+ice element build. I managed to solo him twice with it. With only 1 faint. Then the other solo run i Fainted twice. But nonetheless alatreon LBG just makes alatreon so easy it’s not even funny.
Safi’jivva Boi I saw your posts a bit everywhere about Ala LBG. How do you get new ammunition outside than carting and crafting ? Isn’t it hard to go as a LBG ?
Svetlana Moreillon all you gotta do is shoot, no skill required, just keep shooting his back legs, and then shoot his head when he’s downed. Also the alatreon LBG is very agile. Hence why I barely carted. I kept dodging all his attacks. And if you worry about dragonblight, the build has 3 Blight resistance so you can’t be effected by dragon, fire, water, ice, etc. which comes in handy if you do get hit. As for ammo. I took water ammo, thunder ammo, flaming ammo, and ice ammo. Then bring in fire herbs and ice herbs on your item pouch so you can craft freezing ammo and fire ammo on the go. So pretty much you’ll never run out. And in times you do cart, restock because why not. Also thanks to razor sharp charm you’ll save tons of ammo. My strat was : •use ice ammo for fire state •then use water/thunder ammo for dragon state •then finally use flaming ammo for ice state If you use the ammo types I stated above, there’s a high chance you’ll weaken his escaton judgement. And eventually kill him in about 15 minutes.
@@svetlanamoreillon241 Full ice + fire ammos with craft material is enough to kill him if used right, even with luna blaze. Worst case scenario, you cart once and get ammo. It might take some time as it isn't optimal but yea, pretty cheese

Someone probably already said this, but the reason Dune dies was probably due to a difference in ping between both players, meaning that him receiving the Astera Jerky proc came later than the EJ tic, resulting in his carting. So yeah, rng.
btw you can survive escaton judgment totally unharmed by disconnecting when he uses it. i tried it once when a group of randoms was almost killing it , thinking "hey, i'll take the 1 cart and win". but instead i survived it for some reason.
The elemental damage check wasn't too big a deal for the party I fight with, we managed to even proc it twice before it's first nova. The problem is, reliably ramming it into those small walls, even watching it running directly next to it - if you don't do that, breaking the horns is a right pain in the butt.
People are not able to clear because they are not using crit element skill from 2 piece of velkana with frostfang weapons, you can stack ice attack and cric for additional advantage

All you need to do is direct anyone that finds any boss hard; to team darkside and they will see how to win. If I can't get past something I look here every time and then I win. Just not as fast or as clean as TDS.
Even then your team would have to coordinate the timing perfectly. The whole team can't just spam jerky at the same time. It needs to be a train effect one after another within fractions of a second with each other. And thats not gonna happen in randoms or at least not on purpose.

and if you do it after deal lot of elemental damage (wich means you will reduce the nova damage), you can combine 4 health booster without potion in 150 total HP. It will reduce your panic attack (player)
The whole fucking point of the video is to see if you can survive the nova damage without doing enough elemental damage. Are... are people really THIS dumb?

I've been playing 3u lately and after trying to beat alatreon for 4 hours my tired brain almost made shortcircuit for a moment after hearing it, didn't know where I was or what was happening.

You could increase the amount of healing received by the health booster by using Recovery Up, which would increase the window of timing for eating astera jerky and make it easier.

Yeah I did this just last night with randoms (not nekkid tho) 3 of us had wide range and we were spammin jerky, no mantles, boosters or 4th hunter needed, just 3 jerky and wide range spammers, ultimately we lost the fight tho due to one less-than-adequate hunter and a slip up in the beginning, I had to record it and watch it over to make sure.

What scares me is the fact that you guys survived Alatreon naked until it performed an Escaton Judgement while I can't with full gear
Tbh I hate the "DPS check" mechanic, but it was always manageable. But this "element DMG check" BS is just annoying.
Just slap together a alatreon LBG fire+ice element build. I managed to solo him twice with it. With only 1 faint. Then the other solo run i Fainted twice. But nonetheless alatreon LBG just makes alatreon so easy it’s not even funny.
It’s also ironic considering the alatreon LBG is his own weapon yet it’s the best weapon to counter him.
Safi’jivva Boi I saw your posts a bit everywhere about Ala LBG. How do you get new ammunition outside than carting and crafting ? Isn’t it hard to go as a LBG ?
Svetlana Moreillon all you gotta do is shoot, no skill required, just keep shooting his back legs, and then shoot his head when he’s downed. Also the alatreon LBG is very agile. Hence why I barely carted. I kept dodging all his attacks. And if you worry about dragonblight, the build has 3 Blight resistance so you can’t be effected by dragon, fire, water, ice, etc. which comes in handy if you do get hit. As for ammo. I took water ammo, thunder ammo, flaming ammo, and ice ammo. Then bring in fire herbs and ice herbs on your item pouch so you can craft freezing ammo and fire ammo on the go. So pretty much you’ll never run out. And in times you do cart, restock because why not. Also thanks to razor sharp charm you’ll save tons of ammo. My strat was :
•use ice ammo for fire state
•then use water/thunder ammo for dragon state
•then finally use flaming ammo for ice state
If you use the ammo types I stated above, there’s a high chance you’ll weaken his escaton judgement. And eventually kill him in about 15 minutes.
@@svetlanamoreillon241 Full ice + fire ammos with craft material is enough to kill him if used right, even with luna blaze. Worst case scenario, you cart once and get ammo. It might take some time as it isn't optimal but yea, pretty cheese
You can use 4 health boosters with Vitality mantles max wide range and 4 perfectly timed Astera Jerkies. In other terms just hit the threshold.

Someone probably already said this, but the reason Dune dies was probably due to a difference in ping between both players, meaning that him receiving the Astera Jerky proc came later than the EJ tic, resulting in his carting.
So yeah, rng.

btw you can survive escaton judgment totally unharmed by disconnecting when he uses it. i tried it once when a group of randoms was almost killing it , thinking "hey, i'll take the 1 cart and win". but instead i survived it for some reason.
The elemental damage check wasn't too big a deal for the party I fight with, we managed to even proc it twice before it's first nova. The problem is, reliably ramming it into those small walls, even watching it running directly next to it - if you don't do that, breaking the horns is a right pain in the butt.
MW2 theme was so epic in this contexte, loved it !
People are not able to clear because they are not using crit element skill from 2 piece of velkana with frostfang weapons, you can stack ice attack and cric for additional advantage
