180° AWNING on a 5th Gen Toyota 4runner - OVS Nomadic Installation

- What overlanding vehicle isn't complete without the shade and shelter of an awning. In this video, I installed a new Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 180° Awning on a DIY custom aluminum roof rack mounted on top of my 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner.

Great Video. I've seen others with the 4runner where they aren't able to open the hatch all the way. Looks like if you put it on driver side, you had no problems?
I keep the strap in the back a little loose. After i open the hatch, then I pull the strap tight. That lets me clear the back hatch. I love the awning. Great for shade as well as plenty of room to spread out during a rain storm.
Do you know What store bought roof racks this awning would fit with little or no modifications needed?
This is a very universal awning. It comes with multiple mounting brackets. I’m guessing this would work with most roof racks.
