So the Lego thing is down to Legos company policy. Since the main scope of Warhammer 40K is primarily in a perpetual war, it goes against the Lego policy of not promoting war. [Edit] Ole Kirk Christiansen himself stated that contemporary weapons and military machines that could be easily linked to on going conflicts would not feature in his toy range as he didn’t want warfare to seem like child’s play.
Halloween is around the corner, keep an eye out for the skull decorations. I've made my own servoskull with one of them, he looks pretty awesome and they're fairly easy to make!
Back when I used to watch the Twitch streams and they'd sometimes have some of the Licensing team on to preview upcoming merch, their response to suggestions for merch from Chat was always that they (GW) have to be approached by merch manufacturers to discuss licensing proposals. It doesn't matter how 'obvious' a merch idea is to us, someone needs to say to GW that they want to make it and then sign a deal with them.
I did look into this to start making merch. While the C&D is a possible, it seems the best way to make it big is the WH partner program. They take a small cut of sales to promote your stuff - you do all the R&D and manufacturing, and they just add it to the marketing. They dont push it though, its purely based on people already being there for modelling stuff
The “Warboss” book box set came with an ork themed bumper sticker that said “MY UVVA TRUKK IZ A BOOMDAKKA SNAZZWAGON” so they’ve at least made one bumper sticker. It was in a limited edition release of a novel and is sold out, but it’s something.
I work at a promo company with access to a laser printer, just last week I made myself a water bottle with a Warhammer meme on it to use at work. All of the clothing, puzzles, wallets and a quite a few other things you mentioned would be so easy to do even for a small promotional company. It’s sad they don’t put the effort in to make these ideas happen!
Car magnets (in addition to the bumper stickers), a faction logo or a space marine helmet is something that I’m shocked GW hasn’t made with a licensed product
These are all fantastic ideas. You're probably right that Lego would never happen... I'm not saying that it'd be cheaper to field an army with Lego... but it probably would be, barely.

Nerf guns has a possible issue: Laws on replica firearms. In the UK, most people don't know that you can't sell any "imitation firearm" to anyone under 18, and "realistic" imitations are even more restricted requiring specific defences to buy. Nerfs and waterguns etc have bright colours that fall under the IF category, but if you were to give them an appropriately grimdark colouration, they'd be RIFs. OTOH said law, rather obviously, doesn't seem to have been as stringently enforced as it could be given that B&M and Lidl don't have signs up proclaiming Nerf can only be sold to 18+ customers. Technically the police could stand at the checkout of Smyths arresting anyone selling a water pistol to an under 18, but it seems some other thing happened to protect us all from the scourge of toy guns and so they don't really bother. But either way the issue is a Nerf bolter would be brightly coloured and trying to repaint it could have a risk of being prosecuted. Cosplayers can get away with it as that's one defence, but if it's just for display under the letter of the law that's an offence. Having a bunch of customers technically not have a loicence for that spray can and toy gun could be awkward. And of course the later "replica weapons" bit then falls into the same risks. Especially when you add on things like the "zombie knife" laws and restrictions on bladed replicas.
I'm pretty sure Nerf guns and supersokers don't count as "imitation firearms". What firearms are they imitating? As for colours, just sell you're nerf boltguns in 2nd ed colours.
@@Del_S source? Where a toy is considered to be an imitation firearm, the purchase will have to be made by a parent or other person aged over eighteen. So yes, _some_ toy guns are 18+ only, but only the realistic ones. Not nerf guns, and probably not most 40k weapons.
@@iapetusmccool You just shared it. See how nice and vague that bit on the toys is? It effectively relies on common sense to call it a gun shaped thing or not.
@@Del_S right, so your original claim that it is illegal to sell nerf guns to under-18s is wrong. It's _realistic_ imitations that are 18+ only, and it specifically states that futuristic-looking toys will not generally meet that category.

I've talked about this before with friends, when I look for merchandise I'm really not looking for just "has the brand logo on there". I love your bag suggestions because they feel diagetic, especially that guard messenger bag.
yeah, i think having the logo on there probably got mixed up with "name brand" stuff at some point. By that i mean merchandise people saw people were buying pants that simply had a logo on it saying a name for a 100 dollars so they thought that is what people wanted and that is why it is so prevalent. That is the only reason i can think of for cheap merchandise like that other than the cheapness i guess. just having a logo and nothing special is just lame merchandise imo.
Well that was a weird ad but to give my two cents about the topic. I think the Nerv gun idea great. On replica I would by a Ork Choppa or the OG Warhammer Ghal Maraz for sure!
Problem with the large sculptures, it would probably be made by Forged World. "Why do the laurels on my Roboute Guilliman sculpt make it look like he has 60's sideburns?" 🤣

YES on the women's clothing and fragrances as well as the replica weapons! I was so disappointed to learn those leggings and dresses were discontinued, as I didn’t learn they existed until after they were no longer being made. And Warhammer perfume names would probably all be funny responses to "You smell nice- is that a new perfume you're wearing?" As for the replica weapons, i just think a power sword would look nice on my wall.

Bedsheets- and I’m not talking about the silly pillow cases either. I want the DoW:DC cover art as a comforter.
Well done putting out such an interesting video while moving studio.
Damn the rammstein shirt while slapping sisters of battle leggings
I would absolutely love a range of 75mm warhammer minis.
Lego WH40k video game with 200+ characters - that’s a dream 😊
"Honk for Heresy" don't know why I found that so funny, nearly spat out my pot noodle....
They used to make jewellery back in the late 90s/early 00s! I used to have Dark Angels and Crux Terminatus pendants.
Starforged has officially licensed jewelry.
Things I'd buy
1. Corpse Starch branded protein/nutrition bars
2. Flamer/Heavy Flamer torch lighter for cigars
3. Election signs "vote for..." With various factions, Emperor/Gazkul, etc
And p.s.
Vulkan Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Stomp stomp
A little Ghal Maraz to put on my desk and bonk things with would be excellent
Regarding plushies: if a cuddly, adorable Centurion is good enough for the TTS Emperor to snuggle with, then it's good enough for me.
Actual action figures would be pretty cool. Figures with articulation and not just static poses.
I want Warhammer ties, Abaddon and Kharn especially in their classic portrayals would be epic
I swear they were talking about a power pack backpack 20 years ago, I have memories of some designs for it with zippers around the vents at the top.
I agree 1000%% with this!!!
Dark Angels tie bar. Purity seal magnets. Official wax seal presses. Chess set is a must. Bar or pub ware glass tumblers coasters decanters. Wall decorations like how they did the taneth wall hanger but for like every faction.
Picturing future news stories:
A man was mauled by a bear in the woods, he couldn't run away fast enough because of his space marine themed backpack.
Should have stood and fought.
YES on the women's clothing and fragrances as well as the replica weapons! I was so disappointed to learn those leggings and dresses were discontinued, as I didn’t learn they existed until after they were no longer being made. And Warhammer perfume names would probably all be funny responses to "You smell nice- is that a new perfume you're wearing?"
As for the replica weapons, i just think a power sword would look nice on my wall.
Also, I'm AMAZED to hear someone else talk about Guyver
My man wearing a Rammstein Shirt, with the current allegations, that's a bold move.
Companies pay lots of money to teams of people to come up with this sort of thing.
I know right? And here I am doing it for them for free!
that power pack Backpack was AWESOME
My history teacher had a 40k eagle tattoo, and one time at a beach a guy came up to him and was like “Albania! Good, very good”
