@lettuce Go Back THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The couple was so nice and said they love to come out and listen to the water feature while they have a cup of coffee. Makes me feel so happy to know they enjoy it! Thank you So much for the comment and I look forward to seeing your comments on other videos! ❤️❤️👍🏼
Since you said this was for an older couple, I'd recommend some sort of hand railing for those steps. Maybe the couple doesn't even need to think about such things yet, but they will eventually. Between them and their guests, there will come a time when hand rails will be needed for stability. I can remember when I never had to give those things a thought - until I did. 🥴 Growing old isn't for sissies.
Your designs are beautiful I wish I had the money for you to do my backyard design. It's an open slate and each time I look at it it makes me so depresses. I am thinking I am trying to hard to find the right design. Thank You for listening Richie
Thank you so much! It just takes time. Keep watching and over time I'm sure you'll have the inspiration you need to start tackling your yard and get what you want. Thank you for the comment!
@Tina Blum. Thank you so much Tina!!! I really appreciate it and I'm so thankful you found me and commented! I'm looking forward to hearing from you again soon!
Bobby! You are so inspiring! My husband and I just sold our home after 22 years and moved to a rental property until the market settled down. But I have to do something with this yard! Can you please give me some ideas that are not expensive as we don’t own the property.
I like your designs. I also like watching you create them with your software. Would you share with me the name of a good landscaping design app that I can use at home? Thanks
Hello Bobby! I do like the water bubbler feature better as suggested, especially because it looks like it was on the easement of the yard. The whole concept makeover is so much better. Might I suggest when choosing plants near walkways, always check the retail info tag about the plant and how much bigger the plants will get at maturity. For instance the plants along the walkway look like Aztec grass and they do grow taller and wider. Thank you for the video!
We installed this for the client. The design didn’t do the real project justice. I’m going to start sharing our actual work this next half of the year. Stay tuned!❤️
Bobby I have been watching your videos on RUclips for some time now, love what you do and how easy you make these things look.. I wish I could have your talent.. I'm from New Zealand and have recently moved into our new house which has a decent sized backyard and a small front yard but I'm lost.. I want at least the front of our house to look beautiful for now but I don't know what to do. Can you maybe help give me some ideas please..Thank you, Sandy.
@Sandra dsouza thank you so much for the comment!!! I’d love to help you. I’m a visual person so many times people sign up for a zoom consultation with me if they can’t afford a design. It’s a great starting point where we can go through all tries of questions, pictures, etc. The link should be in the description below. ❤️
Hi the design was good but just as you say this is fo DI Y s pp Please can you tell me the best material for water feature as you say cement is not the best Thanks in advance
@Georgina Buckle. I love water feature kits. Low maintenance and easiest to install. If you are going to a stream a think rubber liner is a great solution.
@Elizabeth Porter One of my local material suppliers has them. You can find kits online like this. Amazon? Wayfair? Thank you for watching and the comment!
Hello, I have rental properties where I need a design with no grass and no plants if possible yet I want it to look good. The reason is that the tenants will not water plants and they will die. These properties used to have nice grass, but after many tenants not watering, the grass is dead and gone. I would really like to have you help me. How could we work this out? Thank you
@Patricia. I apologize. As my channel has developed, I have caught onto people WANT TO KNOW how much it costs!!!! Please check out some more recent videos and you'll see that I do. This install was around $15K all in. More budget friendly alternatives would be concrete vs. pavers
@Sandra Kendrick. Me too! At the time of this video I was still figuring out the channel...still am...but recent and upcoming videos will not let you down. I will have plenty of 3D designs/project videos coming. Stay tuned! Thank you for the comment.
Loved watching your software work, building the design on the computer. However, what you came up with has too many steps and barriers and low brick walls. Doesn’t seem as if that would be best for an older couple.
@Upper Creek Studios. Thank you the comment and I appreciate your feedback. This was for an older couple who still wanted access to the lower level. One thing I could have done was install a hand rail. Thank you for pointing this out and I hope to hear from you again in future videos!!!
Okay, I promise I'm not saying this to make fun of you - but did you do your head and facial hair like that to look like a guy from a 90s military movie? I'm getting strong Aliens vibes.
"Yucky ". .. you have just gained a fan for life Bobby 😄😄
Yucky is so underrated! :). Glad to meet you!
@@BobbyKDesigns couldn't agree more!
So much better!

Great tip! Definitely needs a handrail.
Beautiful design but I haven't hit the landscaping lottery yet, lol.
@Marie Arce The key word is YET!!! Thank you so much for watching!!!! I appreciate the comment!❤️

I have a question for you the stores are selling hydrangeas in bloom can they be planted and will they last in the garden?
I'm not 100% on your questions but hydrangeas can be planted from March - November no problem.

Love the ideas, could i ask what type of software do you recommend to create a plan or can i use power point?

Where do you find urn like that that bubble? Don’t you have to cut a hole in the bottom? I need one like that.
@Elizabeth Porter One of my local material suppliers has them. You can find kits online like this. Amazon? Wayfair? Thank you for watching and the comment!

@Judy L. I love challenges like this and I say "No Problem!" If you're interested, you can sign up for a design through my website.
I wish you would have given us a ballpark figure of the cost, as well as ideas for a more budget friendly alternative.

@Lydia Derhake. I get Jim Carrey a lot but this is my first alien comment.
