Schrodinger's Nacho. He's alive, and he's so dead.
😂💀
the second lalo takes what kim says to heart, trusts ignacio, and let’s his guard down, he’s immediately stabbed in the back, his own family murdered. very tragic even for the psychopath villain of the show.
That’s a very good point. I hadn’t even considered how Lalo may have taken Kim’s words to heart like that. Otherwise, his change of plans and bringing Nacho along would have been kind of inexplicable.
Kim also told him he has to get his operations in order and the fact Lalo trusted Saul before Nacho at first probably was a sign he didn't trust anyone in his organization
The moment you realize that, out of all the main cast, Howard is the character who comes closest to being what is considered "a good person".
Is nacho's father a joke to u?
@@KarinaAespa6446 lol I said main cast. MAIN cast!
Rich ones are always considered good persons
@@carlosandres7006 exactly because there’s never a time when they’d need to desperately do something for money
Yeah so sad
Gus should have hired the two best hitmen west of the Mississippi instead of these "highly skilled" clowns.
Even though Howard didn't show some spine to Chuck earlier on in this series, he's not a bad person beneath all that. If they take Howard down it's going to be awful. There'll definitely be some consequences.
I think we were all so scared of the idea that Kim would die and that's why she's not around in BB, that we didn't consider the idea she might just be in jail.
yeah
Everyone tries to tell Kim who she is and what she should feel. "You'd be better off working for a firm. You can do better than Jimmy. You don't really want to hurt Howard." Even the audience gets in on it. "This isn't really Kim, she's fooling herself, Jimmy is doing this to her." But this is the real Kim. Always has been. She has a strongly amoral streak, enjoys tricking people, and likes seeing her "betters" brought low. The ethical strictures of her profession have mostly kept her in line, but the character traits are there.
I agree. I think after five seasons, it’s safe to say Kim isn’t being coerced or coaxed into anything anymore (maybe not even that she ever was). Everything she does, whether it’s taking on a bunch of PD cases or deciding to ruin Howard or even stay with Jimmy, it’s all her own choices now.
It's interesting. No one watching Breaking Bad said "That's not Walter, he's just been corrupted." Walt was an adult. He made choices and those choices had consequences.
Likewise, Kim is an adult. She's making choices and those choices have consequences. Making it all about Jimmy robs her of her agency. Jimmy can't save Kim by walking away. Kim said it herself: You don't save me. I save me.
It's the reason she likes Jimmy as well. She loves what he does. Hadn't realized it, it's so brilliant.
Thank you !
Yea, it's so crazy how looking back, the only time she ever complained about jimmy's schemes is because of the rules of their professions, not her own morality
At the beginning of the show I thought howard was the worst person now I think he's the only good person in the show
Nice job writers
I see similarity in Walter and kim.
Really? Well I mean I can't blame you personally I see Walt in lalo mike Gus Jimmy and more Walt really is the godfather of this universe
I see walt more like chuck for some reason
Kim is interesting. For basically the whole series everyone talks about how the men in her life are influencing her.
"Jimmy convinced you to do this"
"You wouldn't have done this if not for Jimmy"
"Now that you know this, you HAVE to do that"
Everybody treats Kim like he's an angel who needs to be persuaded to their side to validate their righteous cause. But nobody acknowledges Kim's own agency. Kim is CONSTANTLY making unexpected decisions to demonstrate that she has a mind of her own and yet people always treat her like they know better for her than she does.
And Kim's morally good demeanor? It's just her professional facade. The truth is she's just as scandalous and mischievous as Jimmy and that's why she's so attracted to him. Because the one thing they both have in common is that everyone tries to strip control of their own lives away from them. Everyone thinks Kim needs to be protected from corruption and Jimmy needs to be stopped before he corrupts anything else.
They're partners in crime: both mutually bending the rules to make things go THEIR way for once
Kim "pew pew" Wexler is finally unleashed
That was the moment Marie became Don Eladio
Such a great season finale. Lalo is out for blood and Kim is taking an unexpected dark turn. The stuff she is saying is freaking even Saul out. It will be interesting to see what happens with Kim next season. I don't think anyone expected this.
Kim is her own worst enemy, she broke bad at the end of this season and shot jimmy with his own finger guns that he used when he changed his name to Saul. Kim is her own person and makes her own choices she chose to stay with jimmy and encourage him and now jimmys realizing that she has potential to be just as bad as him. Kim isn’t tricking her self she’s realizing what she can do. I feel like Kim would do this with our without Jimmy.
Not sure about that last part. I agree that Kim has always had the potential to be like this but I don't think she would have ever realized that potential in a world without Jimmy. He's the catalyst of her transformation.
@@DovahFett i agree, Kim needs Jimmy "Saul Goodman"
Idk I feel like Kim would always end up as some version of slippin Kimmy, she’s smart and charismatic and fights for the little person. She might not become Saul Goodman but she definitely would become a version of him if she had never met Jimmy. She was exposed to shitty manipulators from the beginning of her life like her alcoholic mom who tried to drive her home while drunk. She wouldn’t be ripping people off and definitely wouldn’t be targeting Howard like she is now but she’d be a version of Saul. But please chime in and let me know what you think I’m curious about other opinions on Kim.
I disagree, while I think this is who Kim is, I think jimmy was the catalyst for her behaviour. As chuck said “you destroy everything around you”
I’m kinda wondering if Jimmy will become disillusioned with her in some way now. I think he always saw her as nothing but a good person who saw good in him. Their relationship can go just about any way now, but I can see his tendency to project his own guilt or self-loathing onto others coming out in some way against her as she gets deeper “down in the mud” with him.
The finger guns kim gives jimmy at the end end is the same way he ended season 4 towards her while saying "it's all good man"
Been a pleasure watching through this again with you both. Can't wait for S6!
You have to appreciate that from the perspective of two semi-evil people who get off on being "evil for the right reasons" their fire for each other has to be white-hot at this point. Jimmy keeps testing her by bringing up the "right things" to say, and I guess you could say Kim has been the Yin to Jimmy's Yang, but I think Jimmy wanted two Yangs all along. Honestly in a sick way, this is probably the happiest they have been in years.
I feel like people are taking away any agency Kim has with her own life. Yea Jimmy has had an effect on her but ultimately it's HER choices. Also people forget that she went on her little solo missions and created a whole fake name. Any time someone has told who she is or what she's supposed to be she finds a way to fight that and prove them wrong. She's always had this in her.
The way Chuck helped shape Jimmy into becoming the way he is, Jimmy has unknowingly done the same thing to Kim.
The thing most people don't see is that almost all the noble stuff WE have gotten to see from Howard, Kim and Jimmy didn't see. For instance, they didn't see how Howard paid 3 million from his own pocket to save the firm. They didn't see how much Chuck was calling the shots for Howard for all mistreatment directed toward them, during their years at HHM. Kim and Jimmy spent years underneath him, and had a pretty shitty experience. I've been there. And it can be very difficult to let go of years of mistreatment... And especially if the person is later trying to act like they're my savior, it's like they're belittling my experience, and the hell they put me through. From our eyes, we can objectively look past Howard's mistakes, and even understand why he did things he did. But from Kim and Jimmy's eyes, Howard has tyrannized them for a long time. I can understand why they feel disdain for him. However, that doesn't justify their plans for him at all! It's just something we sometimes overlook or forget for Kim and Jimmy.
I'll add to that that all of those "noble acts" wasn't even noble to begin with. He wanted to pay 3mills from his pocket not because he cared, its because that was the only way to kick Chuck out of his own firm (even tho it was justified cause chuck was crazy, I know). Howard was always Chucks pupped. But he still did all of those terrible things just cause Chuck told him to and he never questioned it, he never care about anyone else.
Remember what the land owner told Kim? Thats shes "one of those rich asshole lawyers who give to charity just so they can feel better about themselves and all the shitty things they done in the past"? Thats exactly who Howard is. All the "good" things he did are not done because hes a good guy. He does it just to make HIMSELF feel better about the things he done in the past. He dosn't really care about anyone else. The "namaste" licence plate is a pretty clear hint that he's full of shit. Thats just a facade, something he learned in therapy. On the inside he's still the same asshole lawyer he always was. He just wants to clean his slate cause he feels responsible for Chucks death.
So yeah, I'm with Jimmy and Kim when it comes to Howard. Tho its true that they are going to far with it.
@@Pir-o
Okay, you’re just straight up wrong. You’re literally viewing him with the same skewed lens that Jimmy and Kim do. You’re merely speculating on his ulterior motives, which there is no real evidence of. Meanwhile, Jimmy (temporarily) ruined an old woman’s life for a case settlement, and Kim is ready to destroy someone else’s (someone who PUT HER THROUGH LAW SCHOOL) for the same selfish gain. In what fucking world do you not see they’re the bad guys in the situation? Howard is a mature, patient adult, and they’ve just regressed into spiteful children looking to lash out at a world they feel looks down on them. It’s classic toxicity. The better the person (Howard), the bigger the prey.
@@Pir-o lol you’re so gullible and easily manipulated by the amazing BCS writers.
Nothing Howard did even from their POV comes close to vandalizing his property, ruining his firm, . When there was the hearing at the bar, Howard told the truth to the detriment of his winning. Kim and Jimmy lied through their teeth. Jimmy knew that the premiums increase after the stunt he pulled with the insurance company is what got the ball rolling on Chuck committing suicide. To tell Howard “you killed my brother” was purely to hurt Howard with no justification. All of a sudden Saul cares about Chuck again? And he’s blaming the guy he knows isn’t at fault
did you ever watch ozark? if not love to see you two react to it
Thinking to start that-whats it about ,is it good?
@@jayabrahim A financial advisor drags his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder money to appease a drug boss.......most people who watch it like it a lot!
i loved first season, but second season was so bad, only fillers. does it get better in season 3?
@@ankitvarma1652 season 3 is god tier. The final three episodes especially are incredible
Kim is the Walter of this series. Walter was not a good guy who turned bad, he was a bad guy who came out of the closet. Kim has the same thrill from scamming as Jimmy, but she was afraid that breaking the rules would cause her to lose everything. But Jimmy has shown her that bad guys can win. She's getting comfortable showing her true self and it may turn out to be worse than Jimmy...
Great reactions to this series.
The way you two were looking at Kim during the dinner scene is the exact same way we were all looking at you two when it was Jimmy vs Chuck
Chuck was a horrible brother
@@coder9928 and still Chuck was right. What they did to him(along with a bunch of innocent people who just work for HHM) was still horribly wrong. What they’re doing to Howard, Irene, Mesa Verda is all wrong
From Day 1, one of the biggest questions in the show has been "What happens to Kim before Breaking Bad happens?"
Watching episode 9, I was sure she was going to be killed by Lalo, to justify Jimmy's fear of him when Walt and Jesse drag him out to the desert.
But after this episode, I believe that Jimmy and Kim will succeed in ruining Howard's career...and then Kim will scam Jimmy out of the Sandpiper money and disappear to start the pro bono firm of her dreams god knows where
But tath homie´s deaaaad.....He just doesn´t know it yeeeeeet
Nacho :´(
I don't think Nacho is gonna make it at the end
Lamo you girls have never seen the hack to open up a padlock? It’s pretty cool. Never tried it myself, but Nacho clearly has.
I love Kim's character and her development is so interesting. We always saw that rebellious side in her and it is just taking upper hand now. They dont care about Howard because he is this typicial priviliged, upper class, fake smile laywer. Sacrifice him to be able to open a pro bono office would be like a Robin Hood thing. Of course Howard doesn't deserve this but he just has a talent to upset people when trying to be nice. He shouldn't have questioned Kim's personal decisions because this is something she really hates especially from somebody like him. Cant wait for season 6 it's gonna be amazing!
I cannot wait for the next season😵😩
Season 6 going on now. ;)
What's the Outro Song?
Do we know what's replacing this yet? Not throwing shade on anime, I watch as much as the next guy, but can this be replaced by another high quality live action show, eg wire, band of brothers, expanse etc?
Firefly would be my choice if theyve not seen it. Short and managable.
Kim really died there
she died day Lalo came to her house. You can see shift of character in her after that.
Shooter McGavin...love it! XD
Man you guys don’t understand Kim at ALL. How can y’all both get wet over Lalo and then be like noooo Kim that’s too far?
Kim was a good person from the beginning and now she's talking about some evil shit. Lalo was always evil so I guess it's not upsetting when he does evil things.
6:20 killed me oml
"have a seat" "i mean i would"
Holy Shit...Kim is gonna become the. Cartel attorney.
7:47 "i need a man" or "how did he do that?" give me "how did he do that?"
"Stop her! Tie her down!"
Something tells me Lalos gonna be a lot crazier next season even crazier than tuco.
Thats why in BB when Gus spoke last time to Hector , he said that all his family are dead, he thought Lalo is dead too cause mercenary told them exactly what Lalo told him.
Theres still one more season, we dont know that for sure
Maybe Lalo is gonna die in a epic or awful way, but I think he'll definitely be a real storm to Gus's plans.
That would only make sense if Lalo has stayed in hiding all these years, and I don't see him even wanting to do that. I feel like he's definitely just going to use this as a temporary upper hand on Gus, not to hide from him forever. I'm almost positive he'll be killed in season 6, my guess is either by Nacho after killing his father, or by Mike after killing Nacho.
@@schmuck.on.wheels I agree, Lalo doesn't seem as a guy who would hide forever after that massacre in his house
Lalo is alive during the Breaking Bad timeline! In fact, he’s going to help Walter and Jimmy get together at the end of the entire series! Just wait and see!
That would be so sick
Now I'm just picturing Lalo randomly jumping down from the ceiling of an Omaha Cinnabon. "Hi guys!"
lalo is worse than walt and they hated him. but its ok lalos hot 💀
....how the hell do you guys not understand Kim better? How do you not get that the show is proving how little the audience knows Kim aside from how we see her through the other characters’ eyes? Lol what? And why is Howard suddenly seen as an angel for some people? Did everyone get amnesia?
Oh, please. Remind the class what Howard has done that is so horrible, and how it in any way matches what Jimmy or Kim have done or plan to do going forward? If you fail to see how Howard is being positioned by the writer’s as a clear victim of these two’s vendetta, which was born and perpetuated out of almost nothing but personal insecurity and selfish gain, you’re an idiot.
Right? Remember how he treated Kim in earlier seasons. Why would she spare him honestly
@@raindrops0905 spare him? She wants to completely destroy any chance of him I being lawyer, vandalize his house, and ruin his life. What did Howard do that even comes close to that?
Season 6
18:40 You know that Jimmy did lie because Mike told him to, right? He even asked Mike who was he lying for.
To mark that as Jimmy being horrible to Kim is quite overboard because if you are gonna blame Jimmy on that, then you should blame Mike too.
Also, Jimmy has a PTSD. Of course, he didn’t want to talk about it. Just like how Jesse shutting himself off after killing Gale. Just like how Hank insulting Marie a lot because he had a panic attack after tortuga bombing.
You guys are so hard on Jimmy while being so soft on Mike and Kim.
Goodbye girls 👋😞💔
It's as if after being the voice of reason for so long, Kim finally couldn't take it anymore, and now Jimmy brings out the worst in her.
#TeamLalo for Life
lets hope Covid leaves so season 6 filming can start
You gotta start BLEACH, new season in 2021 is gonna be amazing
Lalo and Nacho wasn’t in breaking bad, but their names were mentioned in season 2 when Walt and Jesse hold Saul at gun point in the desert.
This was mentioned in part 1 of the reaction.
@@DovahFett in every part where they mention lalo/nacho and BB there are the same comments as this lol
@@marko12tony Yes some people seem to think that they don't read the comments, or maybe those people don't read the comments themselves or they'd see that about 5 other people had already posted the same thing.
@@DovahFett Abbi asked if Nacho was in Breaking Bad in this video. That's probably why people keep commenting. She clearly doesn't remember.
22:28
My favoritism for Kim has completely diminished. Howard doesn't deserve to be treated this way.
I know! I liked her before, but this season made me question everything about her
the end fight was bad imo, he just kills them all easy... it feels like they decided last second to keep him alive for another season.
What a stupid comment
@@timor86 with how thought out this series is i just thought the last fight scene doesnt fit. Those guys were the best in there business according to Guss... so Guss hired stupid bad assassins... i like the outcome but not the way they got there
@@boanerv how else should it have played out then? You don't prepare for a guy like Lalo. He's obviously not the average run of the mill cartel member. I'd imagine they'd never had a target fight back as he did.
Kim is becoming Jimmy. And I hate Howard and how this show is making him a cry baby victim. It's incredibly annoying. In my opinion.
How is Howard not a victim?
Remember how Howard sent Kim to the "corn field" for no real reason. Howard also helped Chuck screw Jimmy at every turn... Not hiring Jimmy and helping Chuck to try to make Jimmy lose his ability to practice law etc. So Howard should not be seen as a victim. Howard has always had an issue with Kim.
@@juliacarl584 Howard went along with Chuck's schemes to protect the company. Look at the mess it caused when he did finally try to get Chuck out. The man had to take out millions of dollars in loans to pay him off and prevent a war with an unhinged Chuck. From that point forward Howard has been pretty genuine with both of them. Also didn't he forgive Kim's debt? That's not an insignificant gesture.
I have to say, this has the potential to be an amazing villain origin story for Kim
