I think some of the confusion about whether the person in the flashback is definitely Josuke or not comes from the cultural separation. I dont think that was why people get that impression. When the flashback began we all already knew it would relate to Josuke's hair. The thing that confuses people I think is that Araki made the random savior look so much like Josuke the only design difference being the uniform. His hair color is unique to the Higashikatas as well. I understand that the flashback is in Koichi's imagination so he imagined the savior as looking like Josuke its also thematically relevant to Josuke's character but Araki could have made him look more unique so as to not confuse people unless he intended to use it as a red herring. The fact that they specifically add that Tomoko looked for him and couldnt find him is also weird and to some who like to theorize points towards some kind of time fuckery. I understand that hes supposed to be the manifestation of the story's theme but whether it was intentional or not it definitely is misleading.

And that occurred in 1987 or 88, I believe, and Diamond Is Unbreakable takes place in 1999, so Josuke was absolutely alive during that time. 20:30 Huh, that'd be a pretty neat twist on how Crazy Diamond could "fix" Josuke. I like that idea a lot, Abi. 21:00 Yes, The World is Dio's Stand. Jonathan's Stand was basically Hermit Purple; Dio used it once waaaaay back at the beginning of the arc, and then never uses it again. Heaven's door is scary because the effects of the stand are so encompassing. If he writes his victim cannot do harm to him, they literally cannot do ANYTHING that would bring harm even indirectly like telling someone about his ability or warning them when he's about to attack. It's a total nullification. His stand would be extremely scary if he was willing to alter more than just basic behaviour.

joseph was 62
@@danielestrada1271 You're assuming hamon just goes away magically. He was still proficient at using it, it was just rendered useless because stands just ignore it.
And hamon isn't some guaranteed permanent youth. Even a master like Straizo still looked old when he got to 75.
Junji ito collection, ( hopefully I’m spelling it right) that’s the horror manga abi mentioned
Love the video Imon Nation and ABI Nation stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
5:56 YO that actually does remind me of Phinks
15:00 So there's a theory I've heard that Araki was going to have that actually be Josuke going back in time to save himself as a little kid, but he couldn't figure out how to put it into the story, so in the end it's just some random guy. It isn't Josuke. But yeah, him getting sick as a kid was him being affected by getting a Stand; they were saying that when Josuke was sick was when Jotaro and everyone were travelling to fight Dio.
It doesn't have a connection to the Jostars; it just happens to be the same power that Star Platinum has for some reason (probably because Araki couldn't figure out any other way to beat something that broken).
Abi, you're thinking of "Uzumaki" by Junji Ito, he's a horror icon! Unlike Rohan, he's actually rather sweet in real life, and was very nice when he signed my copy
Josuke was 4 years old when Stardust Crusaders happened...
*CHASE YOU!!!* such a banger that i didnt like in the first time.. but now i cant stop singing.. and now we have the best character with the best drip in the crew... the bizarre adventure continues
“Hello I’m not Josuke I’m here to save you I’m not Josuke.”
Well, don't forget when Joseph cheats with Josuke's mom, he was slightly younger than how he was in Stardust Crusaders. Part 3 is 10-11 years before part 4, and Josuke is 15 or 16 in this part.
Just a quick reminder, the man is not Josuke from the future, it's just a random thug.
Koichi's stand is named Echoes Act Two, curious where the whole reverb thing came from. Josuke modeled his look of the man who saved his life, that's why they look similar.
This opening or the second opening of Part 5 is my favorite depending on the mood I'm in, curious what both of yours will be when you're all caught up.
Reverb is the American subs/dubs copywrite safe version of Echos, because Echoes is the title of a song by Pink Floyd.
@@robertmauck4975 No I mean where they're getting this idea that he's called Echoes considering they can clearly hear Koichi say "Echoes" when summoning him as well as the subtitles saying Echoes.
Junji ito
When Dio got a stand every joestar got one, josuke was already born so basicly If u get a stand all ur descendants alive will get a stand too, josuke was a kid And not strong for stand at the time for his stand so he passed the same fever And problems as holly
Rohan is amazing and Heavens Door is a stand I would kill to have. Just imagine this: you go to a shopping mall an write on every person there that they want to give you 5 bucks. doing that once a month you can live without any problem. Fucking amazing
Josuke never went back in time it’s just some dude.
Junji Ito's Uzumaki?
9:35 Interesting idea
No, that was not Josuke, that was just a kind stranger.
"is that phinks?" LM,AOPAOA
"I've won"
*B O N K*
Is Abby thinking of “Uzumaki” ?
I love how this whole part for them is just #LeaveKoichiAlone
The horror manga they mention should be UZUMAKI
I think abi is taking about jungi Ito manga(forgot how to spell his name)
Couldn't koichi just open the door and scream from inside the house?
"creepy but handy" if only you knew...
EDIT: in relation to the story of the series. not in the weird way i made it sound.... fuuu-
I loved that pun
That's not Josuke, girls. Is just a random guy with a cool hair style.
no that guy that looked like josuke simply was that, he looked similar, no time travel or anything
"time traveling stand"
noper. never. Nuh uh. No such thing.
Nah..., it's metal bat who did a dimensional jump from one punch man !
Part 6 spoilers
Rohan is so good that even with made in heaven speeding up the entire universe he was able to meet manga deadlines
Literal Blind Rage
Uzumaki
Rohan was an ass, but I gotta admit I use his techniques too
nice
The stranger is not look like josuke, Josuke is the one who make himself looks like the stranger who helped him
Imon so fine bra😩
Araki meant to do a time travel thing but he just didn’t get around to it so he scrapped the idea so that guy is jus someone who looks like josuke
Lmao no stop spreading false information
lmao that is just a myth idk how after that many years ppl still belive in it
The pp said it himself
