Wow! 2 fantastic videos in the same day! Isn’t how funny the world of craft tools is?! They make a bundle of money because we’ll all keep trying the newer & best way to do something! I have even a few more spongy things than you!! (And I’m not crazy about any of them!) I like the look of darkened edges, I just detest doing it! So this might really be a winner for me because I can get it done faster & easier! I’ll have to look into flexible sponges. Thank you so much, Jarf, for being so adventurous & determined in your efforts to create the most beautiful journals on earth! (And for teaching all your wonderful tricks to the rest of us!!) Have a great day (or it’s probably night there) & I look forward to seeing more of your videos. P.S. I love the sound of your voice! It’s so light & musical! We don’t have that sound here in Kansas….
Hi Jarf! The inking board is a great idea! I like using an applicator, versus a sponge, because I don't like getting the ink on my fingers from holding a sponge. I had one of those brushes, and really liked it, but I broke the long handle off, so that was the end of that. It's all about personal preference, for sure. By the way, your hands look much better! I hope they feel much better too. TFS! Lil hugs xo
Thanks Lil!! Yes....Inky fingers...ink stain can be hard to remove, so totally appreciate that a blending applicator would keep them stain free. What a shame that the handle broke off. They are pretty flimsy though aren't they. Thank you for noticing my hands. I have recorded a video update on that but as yet, like most things, havent had the opportunity to edit and then upload.. but yes, my hands have improved and just get better each day. The protocol I used has worked. It feels like a miracle, the red burn look has gone, just a bit on the knuckles, but that is fading. I cannot believe it. Thank you so much for your beautiful support. Take care.
🌼 Great idea! I have struggled as well and went through all the "usual" tools until finding what worked for me. Your larger sponge seems like it would save me a lot of time. the back/forth constantly was kinda tedious. I don't like the pre inked papers very much.
Hello gorgeous. Thank you so much for always being such a wonderful support. I really value how you cheer me on. Thank you. Hope you are doing well. Sending huge hugs of gratitude.

I’m like Rachel I never use ink, I don’t even have any. This method looks cool.
Thanks Lucy. Yes, Rachel has proven that inking isn't always necessary. Sounds like you have benefited too. Well done.
