I feel bad for his parents. Greg was kind of a jerk. He once put Pam out of his car ten miles from home in a snowstorm then laughed about it, knowing she'd be stuck in the cold and have to find her own way home. That was before cell phones, so she couldn't just whip out a phone or google the nearest place to get help.
Small update bout month ago Pam approaches the parole board and admits to all the planning of killing Greg. Claims she found God and must repent her sins and says she is sorry. This is the first time she took blame..... Parole was denied and back to cell block she goes!!!
No she didn’t. She said if she never had an affair with Billy, Gregg would be alive. She still claims she had nothing to do with planning Gregg’s murder.
Lamont, you most definitely are a damn good person! Seeing the depth of the soul in your eyes as you gave this poor man his last voice brought tears to my eyes. Keep on keeping on, brother!

I was just back from Vietnam and attended a dance in Portsmouth. The people there were probably my same age, but I felt uncomfortable and out-of-place. Just before leaving, a girl asked me to dance. Then she told me where to sit. Later she told me when to eat and drink. She still bosses me around. She's in the kitchen now with our grandchildren. We've been married 46 years. Thank you, New Hampshire!
Sorry about your Luck .My Wife of 48 yrs has become very hard to live with ,and everything is my fault ,I did marry her for her Looks that are all but gone now .I make the best of it .I signed up for it .😢
I thought you stated that Cecilia tried to tell a teacher and they didn’t listen. If that is the case then I hope that teacher feels a huge sense of guilt. If she had only listened! This story is absolutely heartbreaking. RIP Greg 🙏
Greetings from Northern Ireland, Lamont. Your no frills story telling is just the tonic I need to spend a couple of hours passing the time listening to your informative narratives. Never boring, always interesting. Thank you, stay safe.
I lived in Derry NH when this happened. I was working as a dispatcher at East Derry Fire Department. This was big news, I remember it well. Some of the firefighters I worked with knew her. She was real easy, if you know what I mean, not a "nice" girl.
@@Frankie33828 Yeah she was on vacation with her husband . We went into the hotel closet when nobody was looking . I told her to be quiet because she was a squealer !!
Living in the UK i’ve never heard about the case before , thank you for sharing it. Your compassion is so beautiful to watch & hear. RIP to Greg so heartbreaking xx
I remembered her face and name, but forgot the story, so I'm watching again, I live in Florida where FSU she went to school, so her face was daily on the NEWS. I love watching this guy, he should have more Subscribers. ✌️💖🎄
Cecilia Pierce knew more than "overhearing" Pam talking on the phone. She was an active participant when Pam and Billy were discussing how the murder should be committed. Cecilia would sit there, toss out ideas and later claimed that it was "more like a game" than an actual murder plot.
That movie with Kidder had this Cecilia character portrayed as the village idiot, incapable of any ability to spell the word Cat, if you spot her the c and a. But I think this movie was very misleading in trying to convince the viewer that this girl was stupid. You're right. I think she knew more than what she was admitting. To save her own a## of course. You have to admit, most human beings who make it into their advance years always, and I mean always, do their dumbest things when young. She is the prime example of my theory. Murder is a different category. Murder is just plain senseless, period.
I know this tragic story and remember when it happened. After all these years of hearing and reading about the senseless murder of Greg Smart, I still enjoyed hearing you retell the story. I like your longer videos, Lamont! Keep up your fantastic work!!! Much respect from Canada! 👍🏾
My dad used to say "Everyone has a story, but only so many know how to TELL a story", You are among those who know how to tell a story, I was listening as you walked along, it was tragic and senseless, and your voice added it in all the right ways. THUMBS UP!! Thank you for bringing a voice to the forgotten, and a siren for all the injustices. MERRY CHRISTMAS & ALL THE BEST IN THE NEW YEAR. 👍🙏♥
@@Frankie33828 It is a STATEMENT, for ALL the stories he tells, and a compliment to Lamont not meant to be something negative, I'm not sure how you got something negative out of this. and yes, people do get forgotten, maybe not all but some do.
I followed this case and was shocked like everyone else. I noticed the grave site that Greg's father died in1998 and his Mom in 2000. They must have been heart broken at their son's death. What a useless way to lose your child. I wonder how her parents faired. They knew their daughter was a murderer. Enjoyed your video as always.
I remember watching his parents in interviews. His dad always choked back tears. I felt awful for them. As far as Pam’s mom not sure how she faired but she seemed as delusional as her daughter
The hair story happened to me as well.. I play guitar and did professionally between the ages of 16-20 (in the 1980's).. After I gave it up and went back to school, I cut my hair (was waaayyy past my shoulders). My girlfriend was furious, I mean MAD. Now that I'm an adult I laugh that somebody can be in love more with your hair than yourself......
I don't get this with some people, as real love in my eyes is loving someone inside and out not just from physical aspects/attractions, hope you found someone who loves you, for you, you deserve that.
She is right where she needs to be. I knew Greg’s parents and they never recovered from what this evil monster did. Us New Hampshire residents stopped everything for the verdict. I was in the mall when it came in and the whole mall cheered when the said guilty. She still says it’s not her fault. She is pure evil.
There's a documentary that pretty much proves her innocence. I wish I had a link to the video. I was convinced she was guilty until I saw the jaw dropping testimonies and the corruption run amok.
I remember this case. I was in high school and remember seeing it plastered on the news and talk shows every night. RIP to the victim Greg. Thank you Lamont for another very interesting video. You're my favorite YT channel.
She planned all of this from the beginning. Sleep with a young man, being his "first", get him to fall in love and then get him to get "rid" of her husband. She USED those poor kids!!😢 RIP Greg!! 🙏
Thank you, Lamont, for giving the victims a voice and telling stories that need to be told. How these people can do these horrible crimes and live with themselves is beyond belief, bless you brother and keep on speaking for the victims!
I love this video. I don't believe it was too long. It is longer than the ones you usually do, but I thoroughly enjoyed all the detail put into it. I agree that they did not get nearly enough time for taking a man's life. I also found myself smiling when you said that Pamela got jumped and had to go through surgery. I hope her headaches and pain are beyond excruciating. It is nothing compared to what she put Greg's family through. Lamont, I would love it if you did longer videos more often. To me, it really felt as if you were there going through all the bs like it was just happening and not 30 years ago. I wish you well. Stay safe. Godspeed.
Lamont, I work at the school that's right down the road from that plaza! OMG. To think you were hanging around there during a time where I could have been working during the day!!! My step-dad used to work at the camera shop where the police exposed the photos from the crime scene. I have literal chills. Thank you for visiting little New Hampshire!
Wow- I thought I knew everything about this case, but as usual, I always learn something from you! Loved the long video! Your story telling is the best!
I’m just NOW subscribing to your content. I have always wondered when or IF an investigative reporter would cover a certain case that is full of tragedy. Or. If given some pointers how to cover the tragic case MYSELF in my very own blog, or whatever format is most accessible. The case in question is the Channon Christian and Chris Newsome murder case. I have no real ties to the case yet I found it to be a very disturbing reflection of how meaningless people find life. How downright heartless these monsters can be. What the parents of the victims have lived with, in the case of Channons dad, up till his dying day. Such an emotionally provoking case!
Thanks Lamont for this story. Yeah she is guilty as hell! She reminds me of the POS Susan Smith who killed her kids in the early 90's, she's currently in Greenwood South Carolina hopefully for the rest of her life also! I didn't know that Greg's parent's passed away 😢. Rest in peace to the Smart family!✝️🙏
Damn dog....I don't ever leave a message on any of these that I watch....but I have to on this one. Your passion came out in a way that made me root for you in a big way! You kept it respectful in your choice of words (I on the other hand would have sounded like a sailor). The way you talked for the husband, and the conviction you had at the end makes me believe that what you do is supposed to be what you do! Also the story telling is superb! Btw.... wasn't long enough! You have a way of telling the story....longer is better when it comes to you! God bless, Steve
Wow I remember when this happened. I didn't know she got life without parole. She can listen to VanHalen all day. "Maybe Hot for Teacher" is her favorite. I doubt Billy's listening to "I'll Wait." I did like Van Halen, too
I can tell you got emotionally involved in this case. I've seen some of your videos over the past few weeks. This is the best one so far. I think it's cool what you do. I look forward to more.
She’s not just guilty for planning her husbands murder but also guilty for ruining the lives of young impressionable teenagers & therefore affecting there families as well . Just a lot of families affected because of her !
Those sweet impressionable teenagers were known punks and troublemakers. They weren't pure and innocent by any stretch of the imagination. They all would have ended up in prison eventually.
Let's not, Melissa. Were you coerced into murder as a teenager? Because I wasn't. I knew right from wrong and wouldn't even let ppl be bullied in front of me. They were not impressionable. Stupid, lustful, greedy yes. They all were promised something and did it based on that. Billy got into the getaway car and said he felt powerful, remember?! Stop infantilizing these male teens who KNEW better, but let the reward outweigh all else and bring out their evil.
They were literally groomed into becoming murderers. Just because they were troublemakers in school doesn't mean they're all criminals. They are just trying to figure out things. See what works.
I watched the whole video it was one of your FINEST!!. I remember that trial and Pamela Smart always looked like she was appalled that those children told on her. She looked like a very selfish vengeful mean young woman, and when you said she walked through her husband's blood like it was just a part of the floor I wasn't surprised. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this video and may the Smart family R.I.P. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year stay safe Lamont.
Great job Lamont! I believe that Gregg's parents lives were shortened (especially mom) due to the tragedy of losing their son. So many lives DEVASTATED!!! ☹️
Man, you are a good storyteller. This one's the best I've heard on your channel. It really catches the small depth of this wretched, self-centered she-devil! Her husband was too good, and he shouldn't have died the way he did.
Hi, your description says the Brandon Smart murder, instead of the Gregory Smart murder. Great video!! I was in my first year of High School when this happened, at that age I knew how horrible & disgusting this was. I can't believe they're all out of prison now except nasty Pamela. I'm glad she'll never be released. That creature is truly evil.

And don't be sorry Lamont because as long as they're informative and insightful doesn't matter how long they are and thank you for bringing this case to the public once more because these clowns shouldn't be out of jail. She preyed on a young man with no guidance and no adults in his life to really be there for him. Pam stepped right on the blood, age didn't care. She went in TV all made up. Who does that? Just lost a loved one, I wouldn't care how I looked. They knew this was wrong. Cecelia, too.
I watched the whole episode in one sitting! You do a great job telling us all their stories. I do agree with you that all involved should be in prison for the rest of their lives. No parole.
Great video on this case. Gregg’s parents suspected Pam from the beginning because after the murder, before she talked to the police, all she cared about was her dog. And Gregg’s father thought that was suspicious.
My uncle's cheating wife was told that her husband was hit by his vehicle (she let her boyfriend use his truck) and airlifted to the hospital and all she cared about was the truck. Her boyfriend swerved and hit my uncle and drug him 100 feet and was violent enough to rip his brain stem. After he died in the hospital, her boyfriend was given a year and she was all smiles. Then she married her boyfriend's cousin and she currently has severe rheumatoid arthritis. She "accidentally" backed over their dog a year prior to getting her boyfriend to murder my uncle. When they don't care about the person, that's definitely a red flag.
I remember when this happened. The media focused mostly on her and the fact it was a kid she was involved with more than they did on the fact that an innocent man was killed. I felt so sorry for him. She's just totally nuts and never acted talked she was even a grown woman. I wonder at their age then how much they really comprehended how serious what they were doing was. Unfortunately her husband paid the ultimate price. Can we ever truly trust who we are with. You never really know a person. Gregg would be 56 now. I like long stories thanks for sharing with us
When I met my husband of 42 year's. He had long hair and was the lead singer for an small high school band called Rush! David was from Gladwater Texas. I met David when his band played at the local hang out for teenager's in Center Texas. The first time my parents met David my husband thought that David was an girl because of his long hair! The second time my parents met David he was clean cut. He had cut his hair short! 4 months later we got married. We have been married for 42 wonderful year's! This story is extremely sad! This bi-ch should have gone to prison for life! Pamela wasn't all that she was an total whore! Greg should have never died behind this bi-ch! Greg was way to good for Pamela! Rest in peace Greg!

Watching from Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦 I've been watching your videos for about 2 years now... And I absolutely love your storytelling... I only came across this video now, and completed the entire video in one go. This is indeed a very sad story, I could literally picture how everything went down the day of the murder, that's how good you are at telling these stories and taking us to all these places. RIP Greg Smart ❤️✨
I remember this case. It was huge. Everyone was talking about it. There was even a made-for-TV movie about it. Great job on this one. IMO one of your best videos you’ve ever done. Even though I knew the case and remembered the main points I’d forgotten many of the smaller details so you’re narration kept me riveted. Thanks for the updates on it. I agree, Pamela should never be let out.
I grew up with 3 of the 4 kids involved in this tragedy,I went to high school with these kids I played sports and hung out with them, they were just regular kids caught up in a devious plan, she orchestrated the whole thing,I still see Raymond once in awhile,I'm from Seabrook NH 1 town over from Hampton, alot of us teens got interviewed about this stuff for months while the trial took place, very sad!
I was just wondering if they picked on the kid that was named Vance cause I was named Vance and they could be relentless in picking on me. That’s why the Lamont guy really hit a nerve. I finally ended all this terrorizing by kicking the crap out of a guy in the school hallway after he wouldn’t let up on me. Nobody gave me any punishment cause they knew that the guy had it coming. I hate bullies and Pam Smart did a terrible thing no doubt but this guy is a bully no doubt.
Because she ruined the lives of Billy and the other two boys by talking them into killing her husband Greg, and STILL denies it, she needs to stay in prison for the rest of her life.
@@michaelvoorhees5978 Yes. My name is actually Vance so I didn’t appreciate the anti- Vance comments. I wonder if someone named Vance really did a number on him. Not sure why he hates Van Halen though. 🤣

Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. And with so much respect to the living as well as the dead. These are reminders to not sweat the small stuff instead to try to focus on living, laughing and become more loving. I love your video's Lamont, I don't care how long the video's are, I always sit and watch them all the way through to the end. You do a great job telling how the story went in each video. I remember this case back in the 90's, it was talked about on the news for the longest time. Pamela ruined a lot of people's lives back then by hatching up that plan to kill her husband. She deserves to be right where she's at. Stay safe on your travels Lamont.🙂
The teenage codependents served their sentences in my state (Maine), they are all out & atleast 1 decided to stay in Maine. Pam is in a NY prison & will likely die in prison. I live in the western foothills so the Smart homicide was big news.We was close enough that we was deathly afraid that there was a serial killer on the loose not knowing it was a greedy wife.

Thank you, Lamont, for telling the stories of those who have lost their voice. I listened today while cleaning my office for the Christmas break. Very sad that someone so young lost his life over someone else's self centredness. Rest in peace Greg. Prayers and love to his family 🙏❤️
Hey Lamont, good video. It kept my attention the entire time. It wasn't too log. It was a story well told. One thing you got wrong was at 33:25 you said that it was the only time in Derry, in 1990, that a homicide was committed. Not that I’d expect you to know this, but the same week when Flynn, killed Greg; a 15 year old Derry boy used a knife to kill his older brother in the hallway of their home, and then his father in his bedroom. The boy then set the house on fire in his father’s bedroom. Supposedly the motive was an insurance policy. I know this because at the time the Derry PD used to use a camera and photo store, I worked at, to develop their mug shots, accident and crime scene photos. I was the assistant manager, and had to oversee all police related photo development. Not only did I see all the crime scene photos of the Smart murder, but also the one where the kid killed two members of his family then burned them. The story was buried because it wasn’t headline grabbing enough like a teacher having sex with a student, then convincing that kid to kill her husband. The other thing you missed is when you were walking around the old Smart townhouse; it was the bulkhead basement entrance, you passed, at the side of the unit, that Pam left unlocked where Billy and Patrick Randall entered the townhouse.
Hi Lamont, I'm a new subscriber to both of your channels and the way you tell the stories of the people who can no longer speak for themselves with so much respect is just wonderful! The other times when you're telling it like it is about the evil people who commit these horrible crimes, I'm always right behind you shouting "yeah, you tell them Lamont!" Much respect!
I saw on one true crime show or another, that she worried about the bow she would wear in her hair every day to court. I think she is dimwitted enough to think if she wore a bow in her hair, the jury wouldn't find her guilty. Not a deep thinker
As I keep saying when the person comes back from the grave is when your jail time is up disgraceful what a young man’s life is worth 😡 Fly high Mr Smart 💙🇦🇺
I remember this case like it was yesterday. I lived a couple towns over at the time. My sister and brother-in-law live in Derry right by their old condo. I watched the trial every single day. I can remember Pam always wore a bow in her hair and it started a trend. I felt so bad for Greg's parents. I never understood how Pam talked those kids into doing her dirty work...well I know how she talked Billy into it 😉 Great coverage of this case.
I know the case. She is STILL begging to get out of prison, but the state of New Hampshire keeps ignoring her. Pam said "I just can't handle the fact that I might die here in prison!" You better get used to it Pam, because you're not ever going to leave until you die. LWOP is her sentence. Some old rich men want to marry her while she still has some looks. Ain't gonna happen!!!
Good work Lamont on your videos, love to watch them, totally agree with all of them, keep up the good work and yes poor innocent Greg married to an evil psycho who conned these idiots into doing her dirty work for her..
Just horrible for the family. I worked with Greg Smarts sister in law. Knew her husband, his older brother Rick, such a sweet fellow, who was an advocate for Greg . Derry - yes, not so much happens there but when it does it's horrific. Great job on the reporting
You are so ✅! A man paid his life when nobody tried to stop this! God bless you. I just started watching you and ❤ the passion in your storytelling. Keep speaking for those who can't speak for themselves.
Well Done Lamont. Appreciate you heart for standing up for the dead. I was not once bored during this longer video - don’t be afraid to tell the stories in the time it takes.
Just subscribed. Really like your content. I remember when this happened and I remember seeing Greg Smart's father on TV 8n interviews and the sorrow on his face and in his voice was heartbreaking. I like your attitude because I too believe in justice being served and very little mercy for scumbags such as those that committed this crime. I will never understand those who say they forgive people such as the perpetrators here, I would never be able to forgive something like that and wouldn't want to be the type of person that would.
There is no point in forgiving someone who is not sorry for what they have done. Forgiveness is a 2 way street. If my sister stole my wallet, then admitted it,returned the cash and was genuinely sorry...then,yes,I would forgive her. However, if she denies it,has no remorse, compassion or regret and would do it again...then,no,I would not forgive her. We can let go of anger and bitterness (over time) about a person ,but that does not mean we have to forgive them, especially if it is a complete monster and you're not even dealing with a human being. I have let go of anger about evil people in my past, but I don't forgive them, they KNOW what they are doing and they enjoy it,they do not deserve my forgiveness.I do however, forgive myself for not knowing better at the time.

Lots of tv documentaries about this and a few movies
Cecilia Pierce knew more than "overhearing" Pam talking on the phone. She was an active participant when Pam and Billy were discussing how the murder should be committed. Cecilia would sit there, toss out ideas and later claimed that it was "more like a game" than an actual murder plot.
That movie with Kidder had this Cecilia character portrayed as
the village idiot, incapable of any ability to spell the word Cat,
if you spot her the c and a. But I think this movie was very
misleading in trying to convince the viewer that this girl was
stupid. You're right. I think she knew more than what she was
admitting. To save her own a## of course. You have to admit,
most human beings who make it into their advance years always,
and I mean always, do their dumbest things when young. She is
the prime example of my theory. Murder is a different category.
Murder is just plain senseless, period.

In a perfect world looks don’t matter, but in the real world, they do.

Also statutory rape of a minor!
Yong impressionable teenagers? Seriously? Little evil monsters is what they were.

He got one other thing wrong: He said Van Halen are overrated. VH kicks a$$. Otherwise another great video
He does have errors in most of his narrations but.....

Some people can. More importantly God says to because he does
