When I first met my late husband in 1983, he had long hair and a long beard. (He looked like a cross between ZZ Top and Charles Manson) lol. He surprised me on our wedding day with his hair cut and cleaned shaved. I swear that I didn’t recognize him. I always thought he was handsome but WOW he really looked good! As the years went by, he had long hair in the winter and in warm weather he kept himself clean cut. He looked great no matter what. Gosh I miss him so much. RIP my love.

That movie with Kidder had this Cecilia character portrayed as
the village idiot, incapable of any ability to spell the word Cat,
if you spot her the c and a. But I think this movie was very
misleading in trying to convince the viewer that this girl was
stupid. You're right. I think she knew more than what she was
admitting. To save her own a## of course. You have to admit,

I love this video. I don't believe it was too long. It is longer than the ones you usually do, but I thoroughly enjoyed all the detail put into it. I agree that they did not get nearly enough time for taking a man's life. I also found myself smiling when you said that Pamela got jumped and had to go through surgery. I hope her headaches and pain are beyond excruciating. It is nothing compared to what she put Greg's family through.
Lamont, I would love it if you did longer videos more often. To me, it really felt as if you were there going through all the bs like it was just happening and not 30 years ago. I wish you well. Stay safe. Godspeed.

15 years old is the strange time in boys lives. Their brains are re-wiring. Consequences are often not thought of, that’s why young men often make reckless decisions. Pam is a hepophile. Unfortunately, because she’s female, people don’t hold her to account for having sex with a child.

I saw a documentary on this, and some of the states key witnesses admitted lying on the stand, along with prosecutor misconduct showed that their is a big possibility that she was railroaded. They knew it was going to be televised and this was back when court cases were first being publicly televised and they knew the ratings would be through the roof, and some speculate that may have played a part. I wholeheartedly believed that she was the ringmaster and definitely guilty until I saw the other side.

That is how a rational adult brain thinks looking back on the situation. A not yet 15 yr old brain, who is being played with sex and the chemical response, being told the man is beating the woman he thinks he loves and she is begging him to be her hero, it is not surprising at all the state of mind he went into, being told at that stage of life he basically has to step up as a man 'super hero". Any 15 yr old boy played the right way would of course react that way, not sit back, think maybe she is lying and go tell an adult. Just knowing the psychology of development at that age, which she clearly did, you could trick almost anyone into the same thing. Then if you know family situation, relationship with family, security, lack of love and physical comfort and self esteem, having worked the juvenile courts, plus having raised teens, my own and foster children, I could pick out who would fall for that the most easily within a few days of knowing them. An adult working with that age group, especially those with a low self esteem concern, would easily be able to figure that out. You have to look at cases from the mindset and perspective of the actual person, not in hindsight with a completely different perspective, upbringing, life experience and a fully formed rational adult mind, saying they should have or would have with their brain. No they wouldn't, which an adult seeking to mislead would know, approaching with that intention.

This was indeed a bizarre case. I appreciate how you broke it all down for those who are not familiar with this.

What an excellent video Lamont! Impressive storytelling that I’m sure took a great deal of research. I’m hooked.

Great job with this video. I remember this horrific case well, as most do, happening 50 miles away from where i live. You did the story justice and 12 minutes wouldn't had cut it. Again very well done.

I wonder why women attracted to youth is looked at so much differently than men being attracted to youth?

I was a young teenager on the other side of the border when this happened, it was sooooo strange! We all call Pam evil, but I wonder if she got an actual medical diagnosis like Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Sociopath, Psychopath? I am sure she ticks all the boxes. I have heard there are people like this, but they never become murderers either. Maybe evil is something beyond medical diagnosis?

Evil is only made worse with mental issues...I have BPD and I could never take a life
I don't have empathy but I do have sense to know right from wrong....evil knows only evil and any issues you have are bigger stronger and just warped with evil deeds added to the team body.

I remember when this happened, hard to believe it's been 30+ years.. unlike you Lamont I don't regret that the boys got out when they did. They grew up and were remorseful and the one who should never get out is the one still there and should be there for the rest of her days. Thank you for giving us the ending results , we go thru the beginnings of the crime but we never see the end results years later. May the Smart family rest in peace.🌹

I love your vlogs. And don't be sorry Lamont because as long as they're informative and insightful doesn't matter how long they are and thank you for bringing this case to the public once more because these clowns shouldn't be out of jail. They should be pushing up daisies! That poor man didn't have to die the word is, DIVORCE! It's a lot better than going to jail!!!!
