The one thing that bothers me about cases like this is, the criminal got to walk free for years, and the victim's life was snuffed out in a heartbeat.
It's disturbing that you have investigators who are so lazy at their jobs that they fake it until they make it. As long as they can conjure up enough evidence to frame someone, case solved. They get a pat on the back for solving another case until they eventually receive a promotion. People are people no matter where you go in life. The same rules apply to careers as well. There are lazy and incompetent people in all fields of work. The Milgram experiment proves it. We like to play, and psychologically lean towards, dress up. Just because someone wears a uniform doesn't mean they're competent. It could be a doctor, police officer, judge, military, etc. Every career has people who don't care about their fields of academia. They're just there to make money and hold down a social status title. What's the different between a job and a career? There aren't any, except for one. A career comes with a title. Same BS, different hole.

Thank you for your comment on my story about my good friend who was murdered in her home in 1980. She died a horrible death. She was stabbed to death. She was cut clear across her. Her stomach and Kara crossed her her breast and her throat was cut and the police did even, do anything about it? She didn’t have any money so I figured they didn’t think it was worth investigating this but I feel they should’ve done it and they never did. We even went back to the police station and ask him to do something about this, they said out of our hands, we can’t do anything about this well, I think that’s a terrible thing to do with a lady 69 years old living by herself never hurt nobody would never harm nobody caring, loving and giving is a shame that whoever done this after free walking walking around the street I hope Lamont answers my message. I would really like to get to the bottom of this and maybe he can help out. Thank you again.

My best friend is there also. Her brother killed her, her mom, and grandpa 40 years ago in a mental health episode. He stabbed his baby brother too, but came to doing it. Drove to the high school with him and called police. He survived. It was 41 years ago on the 8th. I was supposed to be spending the night that night. Mom had a :feeling: I shouldn't go. Rip. It's been a long time and know it effected quite a few of our classmates also. I could cope real well until I had a daughter of my own who wanted the right of passage of sleepovers. Lucky she had some amazing friends with amazing moms that helped me through that. About 10 years ago he was released unto the care of his father. I really hoped he never would be and since the fathers death I've wondered if he would reoffend.

Nona is buried very close to my in laws. Nona’s parents were neighbors of my in laws. She and my son were both 5-6 years old at the time and were friends. My wife and I met at Arkansas Tech. This hit very close to home for us. Thanks for keeping her memory alive.

My cousin was a former Maryland State Police officer! He told me if you ever think someone is following you, drive directly to the closest Police Station ! Good advice! Stay in the car and start honking the horn!
At the same time, grab your cell phone & call 911 to advise them you're being followed by a suspicious individual & that you're driving directly to the police station.

I remember this happening and was such a sad case, including the boyfriend getting blamed when he didn't do it.
We looked at these apartments when our daughter was in college that same year. We didn't like them because there was no divider between the apartments at the back where the sliding doors were, which would have made it so easy for someone to get in. It was also one of the back units, so for sure didn't like that.
Glad we made that decision because Gary Dunn was living there at the time.

What a sad story such a beautiful girl. The woods and lake is so beautiful very peaceful. The apartments where nona lived was lovely and quiet. I really can't understand how he got away with murder and they were trying to convict her poor boyfriend. Then when they find out the guy who attacked the Roger on the wooded path lived opposite nona and its a similar crime why didn't they spend time gathering evidence for a conviction. If you visit again, consider a case in Bald Knob, AR where teens were involved. A girl was murdered by a guy because she didn't want to be his girlfriend. The town is very small and they went to high school together. He drove around with her in the back of his truck. The town went searching, and I believe she was found in a ditch. There is also speculation that he murdered another girl before her. Thank you for all you do.
