He answered all the questions right off the bat without any nonsense BS, his mind is very clear and sharp man, what a legend! Great interview! Love from Taiwan 🇹🇼
Hit boy definitely showed clarity of who he is as a music producer. One part that stood out to me was when he said he grab inspiration from any and everywhere. It could be records or RUclips if it’s hot it’s getting chopped. He didn’t say that, but as a beat maker/music producer myself I know exactly what he means. Salute good interview.
I don't know who this. I just skipped to a part where he can't name 1 more synth except for omni stuff. And talks how HIS KEYBOARD PLAYER came up with sicko. a real one - fosho
@@dmvnation202 his instrumentalists play in and come up with harmonies and melodies; beat is mixed by 3 people, mastered by 2 more; he ain't design no 808 that he (maybe) dragged under; what "HE DID" bro? drugs in the studio and sign n ggs ...? nobody really knows none of us fosho
"...Rookie of The Year Every Year." The thought behind that TB Digital line has 200 IQ written all over it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 No need to break it down, but damn just the thought of being constantly hungry to learn and improve amid having huge success is powerful!!! 💪🏿💪🏿 Big ups to hit forever dishing out the gospel and what many might consider the secret sauce (and keep it within instead of sharing it with the community aspiring for greatness)! Lastly, great work Team PG!
been waiting for this interview, glad to see it thru thank you Producergrind and Hit-Boy so many gems and inspiration in this for producers and artists 🙏🏽💎📝
I'm glad Hit Boy talked about the importance of expanding and exploring many styles and genres on here. Producer Grind tends to be overly biased towards FL Studio and a lot of Trap beats that sound the same. IMO Not to knock it but, I think it's important to use the reach and influence that you've built in the producer community to expand and push the evolution of music through your audience, respectfully. ✌🏽
@Kr∑th He did, just not in depth. He told u what he uses but as far as how he uses them he didnt. Still, most interviewers don't ask those types of questions and I wouldn't expect him to cough up all his secrets then others will start sounding like him.
One thing I learned from this is that you don't need every plugin or hardware synth. Pharrell said it best when he was saying that it's okay to not know everything. That's what other producers and musicians are for. Collaboration!!! Collaboration!! Fuck with people who are in your realm!!
Dope interview! Glad the producers got a platform to come thru and tell their story. Great questions and great answers from Hit Boy & he got my boy Nas sounding better than ever!💯💪🏽👏🏽
all those Nas albums are incredible with HitBoy...I aint gonna lie, I thought they would be a terrible combo...but that is some incredible music...definite classics..
Nah Im subscribing. This is an amazing platform speaking on technicalities of producing. Amazing stuff hope yall get millions of followers and subscribers.
sick interview SO MUCH game given this man str8 dropping GEM after GEM after GEM!! thank all of the folks who were apart of this and made it possible for us to witness this fire frfr! Love from H Town!
Just an observation and suggestion... It might have been super dope to have Hit-Boy sit on the couch TB is sitting on. That way Hit-Boy would have line of sight to both TB & Mimi ( I hope I got her name correct) without having to turn his head... with that said, keep up the amazing work!!!
@@themilaizak9963 I hope you feel better. 🙏🏿🥹 I thought it was a edible or something. That’s usually how I look when that brownie get to bussin! Lmaoooo

Well said. This comment is so0o0o 100%!
He didn't answer the question about drum bounce
@@americanskeptic1559 I would say he covered that in the "explore genres" section, and when he said to use different sounds to create drums.
