I've watched your previous bass boat restoration videos. I can't believe you just posted a 393V. I just bought back my dad's old 393V. Winter restoration project. Thanks for your insightful videos! I'll be ordering as much as I can through you guys!
It would be cool to see a more modern paint job with updated seats and console area with modern tech installed. Seeing it in the water when you are done would be a nice finish.
I just watched a video on a guy that doesn’t know a lot about bass boats, he was rebuilding a Bayliner with a 125 Force outboard,,,,, I told him to sell it ASAP,,,get a Ranger, Skeeter, Champion with at least a 150 to 200,,,,,Bayliners don’t deserve hard earned money to rebuild!
One more comment. I went back and watched your previous restoration and saw that you had a promotional t-shirt give away. That would be cool to do again.
Things I learned in Texas about Titling. It CAN be done, but be prepared for some additional leg work, money, and frustration. I've done 4 so far in the last 8 years. I had to get a bonded title. First dealing with TXDot: I sent a registered letter to the old registered owners "address" that is on the TX Boat registration website, kid I bought it from lied (go figure). THe TX title didn't show a lien holder on the last registration info, so I took the chance. Once that letter was sent back, I had to submit all the transfer paperwork, paid the lost title/registration fees/transfer fees/bonded title by sending a copy/pics of the returned known address letter (unopened and USPS stamps on front). After all that was done, a new Title was sent to me. Overall, it took about 4 months between the local office, the Austin office, and the Ins company.
I called the ranger parts Dept looking for a dash plate. They said that they don’t carry them anymore. Where did you hear that they still might have them?
Was told by a previous customer in the past month that he called, and they sent him one. I visually saw it to confirm. Not sure if he got the last one or now.
Looking at at 390v which I believe is just the same but single console. I'd rather have a dual but single has a better rod locker. It's in real good shape but needs a few things. Which is what brings me here....
I have an 88 ranger 363. It is a great boat, however due to illness it’s been garaged for 2 1/2 years. I had a complete annual maintenance service in April 2020. Pulled it home. Got sick and put in garage. Never put it in the water after maintenance. I live in Denton TX. How would you recommend I sell it It has a motor guide I pilot trolling motor. Never been in water. 4 bank motor charger. New. Lowrance HDS -12. Complete interface to 2 fish finders and trolling motor 175 evinrude 2 stroke. Stainless steel prop. Any comments would be appreciated
Make all of in front of the consoles the front deck. Remove the seat like the last one. New boats just pad around the trolling motor. Pad that whole front deck and make it a luxury. How does the motor run as of right now? I never understood why people say all you need is a bill of sale to get the title for the trailer. Then go get the title and make it even easier when selling/buying lol.
Is it me or am the only one to say I'll take it the way it is fix the lights and the trailer and go fishing.. why does everyone think you need a bling out boat to make the boat work for you. For the price of replacing all the goodies ill take the money saved and buy up dated fish finders and load the boat up with everything you need
Let us know what *YOU'D* like to see during this bass boat restoration project!
Would you like to sell the 175? I could use it for my Ranger.
@@dennisbrown6487 yes sir! Runs great. Give me a call 832-303-0368

I have a 1994 ranger 391V that is in similar shape with similar issues. I'll definitely be watching the videos👍
So pumped for this new series!! Can’t wait to see it finished
Very excited for this and hope there will be regular uploads with the good and bad.
Check back every Friday at 9!
@@MealeyMarine perfect!
We be getting into some serious stuff on this boat
Can’t wait to see the transformation!
Oh mama in the comments! 😍😍😍😍
Oh my God!!! 😂🤣😂🤷🏼♂️ that blue nitro @1:23 top right is the one I just bought! 😅
Going to be a great restoration. I say wire up a new stereo and put a sub box in the compartment behind the seats. 4 10” subs. Make Houston proud!
That'd a dope idea
Yaassss! Get that Johnson outta there. Great video!
I'd like to see a hot foot and a jack plate added to this boat along with the 200hp you're planning. Speed rules!!!!
So true!

Really should put in eva foam in this boat instead of carpet!🤘

That's bad information to tell people not to buy a boat without a title for the motor. Florida doesn't issue titles for motors.
Texas does not
