This video is NOT from the day of the crash. It was cloudy/foggy the day the helicopter crashed. The helicopter in this video is the same helicopter that crashed, but that's not the pilot who was at the controls.
Followed this man since he got drafted to the Charlotte Hornets then to the Lakers, when Kobe retired I retired from watching basketball. In my humble opinion there was no one who could compare to him. Still can't come to terms that he's gone. Miss you everyday Kobe.

You got your airbags. And youre on land already, can stop if youre sleepy, tired or lost. When you get in trouble in a copter youre in trouble. Like what's your failsafe? What's your backup? Because helicopters are not the everyday persons' modes of transport, there simply aren't meaningful failsafes. If copters became more mainstream maybe you'd have copter resting LZs or something scattered about flightpaths. Its sad.

The equipment wasn't to blame for the crash. It was pilot error, nothing else.

Was it just me or did it seem like everyone was rushing? The driver Kobe, and the ladies bailed out really quick and boarded the Heli really quick not to mention the doorman of the plane rushed and opened it before the SUV was even stopped.

@@RatIceCream I've heard that, they initially supposed to left at 9:45 that morning but Kobe Changed that time and decided they needed to leave at 9:00 and the actual game was to start at 10:30 it takes them 30 minutes to get to the Mamba sports acadamy from JW international airport to Thousand Oaks where the acadamy is located, Kobe and Gianna traveled there regularly to practices and games, if it was in fact just a tragic accident it all happened as if it were meant to happen that way. So very sad.
