I’m actually moving to Houston by the end of the year. Retiring from the army looking into getting into hotshot. Dope video solid info.
That’s awesome to hear man! Maybe we’ll run into each other one day! Thank you for your service.

Sketchy 👍
@Hotshot Macc i'll need to replace my 10 ply OEMs as well, looking forward to seeing how the 14 ply Trailer Kings perform.
Do a video on start to finish paperwork please
💪💪 Strong content as always bro! I look forward to all your videos. 💰💰💸💸
I appreciate that as always my guy! Been here from the jump 🙏🏽💯💪🏽
@@HotshotMacc Learning as much as I can before I hit the road! Been full time RVing for almost a year, and I've always loved to drive, figured I might as well make money doing it
Keep up the hustle my man.
Most definitely brotha! Appreciate the support!
It sounds like having a dispatch at 30% is worth the money.. they find loads for you.. I would like to know more about your dispatch company and how you found them and why you pick them…..
Well they do everything that it takes to keep me moving along with all the paperwork plus covering the liability and cargo insurance. So it’s not bad at all. The company is hotshot107.com. A friend of mine found them and gave me their contact. I went with them bc they have a good track record and been in business for a while. Good standards, and easy to communicate with.
I keep seeing MDS on your truck. Do you drive for them? I know some people that work there. One of the trainers Ramon. Funny dude
I used to be leased on to their trucking company when I was running non cdl hotshot.
@@HotshotMacc oh that’s awesome! I just started my non cdl hotshot business. Waiting on RTS to send my fuel card. I live about 30 minutes from Morristown. Would you recommend me reaching out to them?
Yo sup Macc its been a min but its all gravy bby yo i noticed u have white lights on ur truck but if u wanna get better visual on da road on fog or rain and snow look into gettin some yellow fog lights by Baja Designs take my word for it u can’t go wrong with dem fog lights Baja Designs oh yea get the SAE ones look into them
What up bro! Appreciate the advice on that.
Yo bro just watching out and tryin to help by keeping u guys safe out there cause weather is changing on us so yea check dem out go on RUclips check dem out for ur self 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
love you bro! keep it up im be out here soon!
Grat job buddy 🙏
Thank you!
I'm trying to get started soon
Hey bro, what company did you lease onto? I’m getting things ready to start out in this business. Fresh like you once was.
👏👏👏🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good content bro💪🏾
Appreciate that my brotha!
Just finish watching all ur videos bro great content thank you for the knowledge.... good teaching can't wait until I do my set up... plus does the people you lease from do they want people to know their company name???
Appreciate the support brother! Glad it’s providing some help out there! But yeah the company I’m with is Hotshot107.com
When you list the amount of $ for the load , Is that what you are making or the company you’re leased onto before they give you your cut.
Everything I talk about is before the percentage the companies take. i did it that way bc not everyone is leased on, however I have shown what the company percentage is in a breakdown video on my channel.
I hope you are doing well, I noticed your straps are over your rails, they need to be behind the rails,
Hey I’m doing well. My straps go through the rub rail. What you were probably seeing was the one 2” strap that was holding down the dunnage and tarp.
Just a couple questions. So even without a cdl you can go out of state? What permits do you need to go out of state without a cdl?
Yes you can go out of state without a cdl. I’m not exactly sure of what permits are needed being that I’m leased on and the company took care of all that. I do know you need the HUT permit for NY.
Appreciate that 💯
Get ledger locks a Home Depot and an impact gun
Yeah I definitely need that!!
Is that Gross pay for YOU AFTER there % cot or b/4 there cut???
Thats gross before anything
Do you spend your 10 hour off duty in your truck or hotel? Is it true you can do only 5 hours of off duty and restart your 11 hour drive limit and then another 5 hour off duty? Or do you HAVE to do 10 hours off duty before driving another 11 hours?
I usually do my 10hrs in my truck and my 34hr in a hotel. I’ve never heard of that 5hr break then dive for 11 and the 5hr again. Ive been told that I have to be off for the 10hr straight. With the eld that I have if you go into drive or on duty before the 10hr is up it will put you in violation
@@HotshotMacc what eld are you running? I hear people are getting tired of KeepTruckin and their service
@@HotshotMacc do you have a sleeper dot approved bed in your truck?
What kind of truck do you use
2500 Ram, I made a video about this ruclips.net/video/NExwEfllEKw/видео.html
Glad to.see you again. I have a important question. How are you keeping under 26000 pounds with trailer, truck and load. Dont the trailer weigh over 12000 pounds
Have a 26 foot texas pride gooseneck myself, It weights a little over 4200lbs. Thinking those 40+ foot dual tandem trailers weigh around 12000lbs.
Whats up bro, my trailer weighs 5850lbs so plenty of room to play
@@HotshotMacc thanks grabbing that 2500 diesel just like you!!!! Don't need that dually!!!!
@@HotshotMacc one more question how many cars can your trailer hold. Can it haul at least two
Is that a dually? I want to start but didn't know if it had to be a dually or not ,
This is not a dually. ruclips.net/video/NExwEfllEKw/видео.html
Hey I got a question, so the company you working with doesn’t require you to have a cdl at all ?
Nope not at all.
Who is your broker? How do you get your loads? What load board to use?
I have a dispatcher through the company I’m leased on with
@@HotshotMacc thanks for that info.
Hi was wondering what size chains do you use?
Hi, 20 feet 5/16
what are size chains? and why must you used them for? is it necessary?
Fam were u get those tarps from
I got them from myteeproducts.com
@@HotshotMacc ok good looking I have a tarp load but I rejected it cause I didn’t have them I had some harbor frieght tarp so I just got another load with a forklift
Do you know anyway to run hotshot under 22,000 GVW?
Im not sure bro
And how much did you spend on diesel?
Depends on how many miles I’m doing a week. Avg is probably between 700 and 800 a week. On this run I spent $462 on diesel
That’s not bad
How long is your trailer and where did you get it
ruclips.net/video/w7a4u32mWDY/видео.html
LOL your hardhat is backward....
I know! If you haven’t noticed I have a lot of hair 😁
I don't understand how you got about the weight you caried .you said 1100 +1300 and another 1700. That how my misguide is
If you watched the video, you will see that those numbers are rates not weight.
@@HotshotMacc 😂
You are smashing it down , I want to get out before summers over . Do you cross the scales much to check your weight and it’s distrubution? Thanks again for all the sharing ,
Appreciate you James! And I only criss the scale If I feel it’s necessary and if I’m doing heavy loads (8-10k) just to be safe. See you out there soon man!
Hey Bro I know I’m mad late but what you delivered was the equipment room for the pump station. Basically it houses all the electric panels for the entire water treatment plant. I work for that construction company and went in and did the rest of the site work not long after you dropped that off. Now there’s a nice paved road and a park there. Keep the videos coming I just subscribed man it’s a small world. Great content and it’s nice seeing another brother doing well.
Humble texas. Hell yeah man used to live out there! I enjoy watching your videos!👍
Bro if you ever get the chance I'd like to set up a ride along with you to pick your brain on helping me getting started. I've been watching all your videos learning myself, you seem to be on the same business route I'm looking to get on doing hotshot.
What up bro! I’d have to see if that’s possible man but maybe we can do something else. If you haven’t already, send me an dm on IG and we can probably work something out. I’m trying to get caught up on messages and requests right now bc they are coming thru! But thanks for the feedback man it’s appreciated!
Getting ready to lease on with hotshot107 any advice
hey bro what broker do you use? and how do I join ? I am trying to start hot shoting for myself . I need a change. Looking foward in hearing from you
Hi Brian. I am currently leased on to a company! You wont be using a broker. You will be using a dispatching service or dispatching your self.
How do you log your driving time?
With an eld, Samsara.
How long is this trailer?
32ft
@@HotshotMacc Thanks for Replying Sir.I am 19 and getting very interested in hotshot trucking.
You killed it bro ,its was a good week. Keep em coming
Most definitely bro! Thank you!
What company do you work for?
Hotshot107
Nice channel buddy, trying to get in myself but can’t find any PJ’s like yours. I might need to go with the Big Tex 25+5 as they’re readily available around me (Colorado) Any contacts for PJ trailers? I kinda want to go without the monster Ramps if possible....
Hey thanks bro and welcome to the channel! I’m hearing the same thing that the Pjs are on order. i got mine in Houston/Pasadena Texas. You can make an order but the wait time is ridiculous right now. I chose to stay away from those mega ramps too man
64 and retired Firefighter. I'm thinking of trying thus out.Excellent informative video.
That’s awesome sir. Thanks for your service. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Good stuff buddy. Tell what you do over a 34 hr reset in bumf*#k Virginia. My guess would be lay low and sleep as much as you can?
Lol thanks bro. I only sleep at night, on my 34hr I’m usually doing paperwork, submitting docs, editing videos etc. it’s pretty busy for me lol
I been following your story bro what’s the name of the company u work for
Appreciate the support l! Hotshot107.com
Great video dude . Awesome
Make a video on hotshot experience with a single wheelbase so far.
Got a video coming next touching on that topic 🙌🏽
Love watching your videos. I been hauling RV’s for a year now, looking into leasing on to start hotshots. Do you have any good recommendations who to lease on to?
That’s what’s up bro. I am currently leased on with hotshot107.com

Can you do hot shot at age 18
yes you can but insurance is gonna be high very high
I’m not 100% sure on that, i think you have to be at least 21 but I could be wrong. But proud of you for looking into it at your age. Not many at that age are looking to work.
What's good brother how long is ur trailer
Thanks for watching. Here is a video I did on my trailer. ruclips.net/video/eZvt9r9-wzA/видео.html
