I’ve been Hotshot for 5 years same setup non Cdl 30 ft. Started like you but rates was better. But getting home I get loads same timeframe 2-3 hrs. From home due to most loads going to big City 2 hrs away. I no longer run OTR I now have a semi setup and my hotshot is contracted to a local client that I run daily and my drivers are home every nite. Been local 3 years now and it is nice! Find your own niche. Wish you much success!
Bro, this is an inspiration to watch. Glad you don't eat that gas station food. I'm counting the cost to upgrade to a bigger truck, buy or rent a trailer and pay for my authority to do the same hotshot moves. Keep making the videos. I just wanted you to know it is helping someone.
I been hotshot for 2 years I stay in a 300 mi radius. Get in good with brokers and put a ad in on Facebook market just did a swimming pool about 90 MI for 2300.
That's good bro and congrats. I'm been trying to get started for some time and I'm having a hard time. Is it possible to reach out to you for some advice?
I'm home every night, I found two cities that ship to each other daily. I don't run over 4hrs each way. Just depends on where you're at and what they are doing.
NICE! That sounds like a dream man. I’ve been fortunate to keep a consistent triangle going more recently and it feels a whole lot better doing unnecessarily lengthy runs.
If you enjoy it don't stop, money like this might not be available forever. Also, you're very well spoken, great style keeping it short and sweet, easy way to tell if someone is being real with you.
I'm trying to stay close to home also, but it's hard to do here in Central Texas. Oh, by the way, I have that same food warming case, it's pretty nice. Stay safe out there!

If you tell me to shove him up my *ss, it says a lot about you, junior. But once again, you’re in the wrong place. We are not here to know or care about semi truck drivers. And we don’t care about your CDL. If you’re not delivering good, useful knowledge, just skip the Hotshot content, and go deliver your “real” CDL freight with your “real truck”. GOODBYE.
Half of you run Illegally and you take up spaces at the truckstops for real truck drivers that need their rest. You guys need to quit adding to the traffic and find something else to do.
@@DonaldWaggonerjr-f2g hey junior, we only want advice from folks that have value. Unfortunately you have nothing to add here, but thanks for your unsolicited nonsense. Advice for YOU: If it says Hotshot in the title and you don’t believe in it, just skip it. Search “real truckers”…hope you find what you’re looking for there.
I’ve been a “REAL” driver for years and you sound like a damn fool. You represent everything wrong with the industry today, a total lack of respect. Hotshot tricks are extremely needed to the industry and not only that it’s much harder to understand than “real” driving. SMH jacka&&

You know a lot of people complain about cheap freight. But at the end of the day whatever makes you money, pays the bills, and then some.
Facts!

Man I really appreciate this! It means a lot. Be sure to do as much research as possible. I’m hoping to provide more meaningful content soon. Thanks!

You must be based in NC! I'm in NC there's times when it's a struggle to get home especially when an appointment is in play.

Lol. I got you. I’ll get more content flowing.
That 5 hr radius is the way to do it.
Keeps the family happy too!
When is a low load? I just put the tarp on top and unfolded no bungees just straps. It’s a lot faster.
@@frankdamanalan3847 I hear that! Time is money!
Do you need a CDL for this ?
Not required. Just need a set up that follows the FMCSA guidelines.

What app are you using?
A mix of DAT and Truck Stop. Don’t rely on any one source, ever.
Keep oily side down
