How to clean and disinfect Cilantro or coriander with hydrogen peroxide

  • Cilantro contains a lot of dirt, pesticide residues and micro organisms. If you are not using organic cilantro you must clean it thoroughly.

    Did you use hydrogen peroxide 3% or 6%? I have the 6% one, so does only 1 tbsp suffice? Will it react with vegetables?

    Does the hydro-peroxide need to be food grade? Or, is the kind we can buy in the drug stores okay?

    Hi, i used warm water to wash cilantro, due to which I believe it turned black... is it safe to eat now?

      Aunty i read it. Thanks. But if we wash and then store it, what happens? Why shouldnt we wash it? Everytime washing before washing is a big task

      @@SasiRekhaskitchen After you soaked it in peroxide, you didn't say to rinse it to remove the peroxide. Did I miss something?
