I appreciate that they feel like real people. They’re both still the character types and song the roof off the place, but they feel a lot more grounded and I love it:
I love Seymour and Audrey’s story. Seymour thinks Audrey is too beautiful and kind for a loser like him. Audrey thinks she cannot attract a nice guy like Seymour. Audrey’s awakening is spectacular.
A couple of weeks ago, I actually was in NYC, and saw this production. It literary changed me! Lena Hall is literary my favorite stage actress after I saw this show! Unbelievable and tear jerking!
I took this from the website way before the YT video and I don't plan on taking it down(mostly because I'm 1. Lazy and 2. Bored). Thanks for the comment doe :D
Have I got news for you, buddy - this musical about the plight of the poor, those suffering from domestic abuse and how they’re preyed upon has always been “woke.”
You can watch the original on ew.com/theater/little-shop-of-horrors-suddenly-seymour-off-broadway/

ROFLMAO I can never take her seriously after she told Bernie Telsie off on The Search For the Next Elle Woods.
I saw her in new york too
The way he makes his eyes soft and gentle for 'now they're okay...'
How adorable and subtle is Rob and Lena is just amazing! Thank you !
Wow, Rob is a fantastic Seymour! Would love to see a full show of this with him in it.
I was blessed to be able to see this (front row seats, no less) at the Westside in March, and it was truly amazing.
2:15 Rob is the most adorable Seymour!!! 😍
She’s astounding
rob is a perfect Seymore. lena is just stunning
Omg she sounds AMAZING
Wow. Phenomenal
Yes Lena!
They are a great Seymour and Audrey! (There's been a lot of other weird duos)
This deserves more views 😩😍
outstanding
So so good
❤️❤️❤️
Love this but wish they hadn't cut like two lines off the beginning of the video 😭
The way she says Suddenly the first time communicates her surprise and careful pleasure. This almost makes it too painful to see. :(
I don't know if I'm all down for this "tough girl from Brooklyn" type of characterization for Audrey. :\
Yeah, Lena Hall seems more like she could kick Orin's ass herself.
dude you literally just took this off of their youtube. that's really not on.

@@jeyop6851 oh absolutely. have a wonderful day!
what is the weird thing she does with her mouth, like only opening one half of her mouth
I'm sorry but I just didn't really care for their version of the show....Ellen Green will always be my Audrey......
Lena us awful!! She seriously looks wasted.
I saw Lena in person and thought she was fantastic - given I did see Tammy Blanchard too and *she* was rotted.
I just don't buy the woke versions of great entertainment...why do they feel they need to destroy perfection....😢

I'm not a fan of "woke" either, but I fail to see how this could be described as such?
Woke?
It's weird. She's a good actress, but I'm very aware that she's acting the entire time.
