I got a replacement body for their MOTU Teela as the paint was too messy and right hand peg snapped off… ooh and her leg! 🤣 The replacement body had the same thing with the wrist where it doesn’t fit in right, luckily didn’t snap so I could drill out more room for the peg 😀 good of them to send out replacement parts super easy, since they know their quality, probably have replacements hundreds of times over since these things likely cost $10 to produce 😀😀😀 Still buy their stuff tho, I like them *#Iamafoolandiknowit*
WHAT?! A double whammy! You shouldn't have to drill any figure though, unless it's for customization. That's the thing we should have to heat, boil, drill, cut, scrape, sand or lube up any figure! They should just be good to go, Ready to play! SMH

@ well for this Spider-Man specifically for me mine was a mess. They were originally gonna send me a new body and stuff, but then I sent more photos and then they told me I am going to cancel the replacements and we are just going to send you a whole new one. It could take awhile they said because they have to figure out what went wrong. The shoulder, neck, and Peter heads hair were all wrong.
Love the videos! Congrats on 700! With that being said… I think aside from the mondo venom I might chill on getting a bunch of their 1:6 scales. Watching you try to get that arm down had me scared for you! Haha.
That high pitched noise makes this unpleasant to listen to. Forget the hairdryer, you needed to drop it in some boiled water. It’s probably some flashing stuck in the joint. The hairdryer will struggle to heat enough inside the figures. It’s really only good for knees and elbows.
Sorry if i blew out your ear drums with that. I was trying something new and figured it might annoy some. Gotta try new things here and there. Noted Thanks for the advice as well, I'm totally afrain of boiling these, also there's no place to boil them where I film my stuff so I'm stuck like chuck lol.

I love the figures they make, but sometimes moving the joints is terrifying, it's true that the after-sales service is wonderful, if they have any manufacturing flaw, but as you say, for the price they have they shouldn't, let's see how Faker and Scare Glow get
Can you show the full range of motion on the leg joints? Specifically how far the leg bend upwards. When it feels real stiff like it won’t go any further…push harder.
The detents on the ratchet joints were really tight on cyclops as well for myself, you may need to apply more heat than you did (though it looked like maybe you edited the video for how long you had the hair dryer on there). I would say best practice is stop, apply more heat and massage the joint. I also fully recommend you invest in silicon shock oil a tiny tiny drop on the joint that you massage in by moving the joint up slightly then down slightly will eventualy give the detents enough slippage that you could get that joint loose. Second, and you may have been doing this - maybe not - when working with a stuck joint like this try your best to push the arm inward as you move downward. If you do it this way you are way less likely to break the peg or stress the plastic at the bicep swivel. Sorry it was like this out of the box, its the nature of the beast sometimes with joint tolerances though especially when ratchets are used.

@ man the Facebook groups are toxic asf. It just sucks cuz if you look at the promo photos most of them are actual figures painted. Idk why MOTU figures are painted so great with detail and rivets painted perfect but simple line work they have an issue with.

I don’t care that much about the paint app error, but that dang left arm wont loosen up, hot water, hot air, lubricated it, it feels exactly like u said, Im scared to break it
Man, that's wild! I don't even know if the arms are meant to come out like the cyclops. Cyclops was meant to have his arms removed to change up with the jacket arms. So I'm puzzled. If you ask for just the arm can it be switched out or do they just send you a whole body?

I’m definitely gonna got them up about the green goblin head. I try not to watch other reviews on figures until I’m done with mine, but today I noticed the peg is missing on all of them I think.
Nice review. I dunno if you or anyone could hear it, but there’s a lot of feedback/whistling in the middle of the video when your figure got stuck shoulder and you were trying to move it.
For me personally I'm kinda torn. I love the way they look and hate how delicate you have to be with them. Have you ever messed with AWOK figures? Now those are some awesome feeling figures. they feel tough and very durable.

And I would say for the price people pay for Mondo there shouldn't be any issues at all ( imo) I can't imagine spending $200 plus for a figure and not get articulation or QC issues or worst of all breakage. I'm not hating on the company I think their figures look amazing but again for the price point there should be little to no issues. I buy Mezco mainly which comes with a big price tag as well and I've had no issues at all from that company (not saying their better I've just had no issues) all that to say I wouldn't be able to justify the price for the product. Don’t forget to look at the neck issue. They completely messed that up. Also make sure the cell shading from the blue to the red is lined up.

mondo seems to have bad QC so I would get a new arm. You are 100% not the only one who needs a new one.

I’d keep the arm misprinted, maybe that’s how they identify that it’s the #1 of 1,500 🤷♂️
