AMEN AMEN AMEN! I collect both, it's hard for me to compare the two because these are so dang big haha! I love figures that look like the toons. Club grayskull, The new transformers cartoon movie figures, mondo ghostbusters and these. I love seeing accurate versions. Hasbro kinda makes them all match hasbro so if you get a spiderverse figure it'll match xmen 97 figures, I guess thats a cool thing, but yeah it'll miss the mark. Hope you have a Merry CHRISTmas my friend!

the CS is one of the main reasons I went in on Mondo figures as well. I got the Ghostbusters 2 pack and can't wait to review that one when it arrives!

Dude, I feel like I jinxed this. I had the dang thing in the can ready to edit and 5 minutes of reshooting and bam! Dumb... for real though, I'd rather entertain people with my edits and unscripted silliness than breaking stuff because I pushed it's limits. IDK it's a double edged sword. My experience maybe taught a bunch more not to do it so there's a positive side to it breaking maybe.

Yeah man, they feel totally different. Lion-O is a lot thicker and heavier for sure. The part that kills me was that I had the review wrapped up and he wasn't broken, until the sdcard incident (looks over at daughter) 😅

Agreed. They should slip in and out far easier. I know they're smaller and have other issues, but Storm Collectibles have the right idea regarding joints. If only their rubbery overlays were a little less irritating to deal with.

Yeah, not gonna lie, it's one if not the main reason I started buying stuff from them. When I saw how they treated Mega Jay Retro after his He-man broke I was totally taken back. Great CS!

@badboytoyclub Yeah I felt that too when it popped off. I've not broken one of my figures by cranking the joints like that's because I soak mine in hot/warm water to loosing them up. That usually works but if they are way too stiff I always put a little Dawn dish soap the blue kind in the joint then give it a few minutes and boy it'll be moving like butter lol and sometimes a bit squeaky but it won't be stiff anymore 😁. I hope that helps for any future figures you buy I'm just trying to help out.

I appreciate your opinion. Me personally I don't have anything like a Hot Toy to compare it to. Love the way these look because they are so close to the cartoon style. I wouldn't say they are garbage, but I wouldn't recommend trying to get any crazy poses out of them, that's for sure.

Yeah, I hate when stuff like this happen, you get the prickly hot sweats and kinda just wanna run into traffic lol/jk. one of the worst times it happened to me was with a MOTU LEO Stratos from India, his littlw wing accessory clip snapped off and an atomic bomb went of in my head lol.

@@badboytoyclub Its funny now but at the time I'm just like u, I tottaly freak out and basically on the verge of a Panic attack at level 110. Its just a toy but I love these things almost like a child and me hurting them is one of the worst things to happen, apart from say the thing being stolen. ​@@badboytoyclub I used to be on the likes of deviantart then i left the site...i follow other collectors and creators on here usually.... I do a little bit of custom work on the side, nothing special, .im one of the older collectors (age 50) seeing channels like yours is inspiring me to start up another small profile online again. That inner leg Break you had has happened to me a few times, and it left me choked .....especially when its on a limited figure like your Mondo Cyclops (on my Neca figures and a few 1/6 scale figs it happened to me ) and after a few of these "disasters" I took up a little bit of custom work (especially if a company doesn't compensate you for your loss and you go to buy another and its sold out or it is scalped for sky high prices... ....its such an addictive hobby though Im enjoying the stylized mondo 1/6 Xmen line , im looking forward to seeing them finish the roster

I definitely will be a lot more careful next time, last thing I want is for these to break. Even though I get a little crazy with smaller less expensive figures when I review them, I should approach these Big fellas with caution.

@ at the least in spots prone to breaking like the leg connecting to the torso and arm. Just pop off if you stress it.

@@badboytoyclub Jada toys and sh figuarts already do it, but they are 1/12 so it might be easier than at this size. Figuarts Goku comes apart everywhere if you flex it too much.

@ hmmm actually yeah FNAF figures do it as soon as you take them out of the bubble retainer. It’s annoying, but I can see how that’ll keep stuff from breaking.
