This flight was part of Alaska's commemorative final flight of their famous "Salmon Thirty Salmon." The aircraft, whose livery was designed to help promote wild Alaska seafood, was places on AS65, one of Alaska's famous Milk Runs for the commemorative flight. AS65 starts in Seattle and ends in Anchorage, while making stops in Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, and Juneau. If you'd like to watch all 5 segments in one video, you can do so here: ruclips.net/video/bu0nV6sNHUk/видео.html
Well, when most of the flight was full of aviation enthusiasts and Alaska Airlines employees who knew this flight was happening, things tend to be a little more jovial than regular flights.
All new airline seats look thin. It's just the way they are now. They're not uncomfortable though. I actually think Alaska's new seats are pretty good. Thanks for watching my friend!
Yes, this was its commemorative final flight. It flew the milk run fro SEA-ANC via KTN-WRG-PSG-JNU. It then flew for about a week and it’s since flown to Amarillo for repainting.
Southeast has a lot of special liveries. Lone Star One, Nevada One, Maryland One, Illinois One, Freedom One, Tennessee One, Louisiana One, Missouri One, Imua One, etc. There are a lot of them my friend!
Yes, although just the regular 14 Pro, not the Max. I hold the camera by hand, an dI fin the Max to be just a little too big to hold comfortably for long periods of time.
This flight was from Ketchikan, Alaska to Wrangell, Alaska. I use the airport codes in video titles because there is not enough space to spell the cities out. So in this case it's KTN-WRG. If you ever wonder what one of those city codes is, they are listed with the full city and state, or city and country information in the video description. Then you don't have to wait for me to reply. Thanks for watching!
Well, paint on aircraft only last so long, and being repainted is part of the required maintenance on an aircraft. Alaska had said, that they already pushed this one as far as it could go before repainting. The Salmon has been around for 18 years. First on a 737-400 and then on the 737-800 seen here. It was simply time to repaint the plane and they elected to go with a new special livery. So the Salmon is gone, but N559AS was just spotted today with its brand new special livery. So, when you get a chance you can see the new special livery on my Instagram account.

That woman laughing during all the flight. Way better than a baby crying. 😂
I like that travel mood when everyone seems happy to fly.

Wow nice vid, did that landing feel hard?
It was a bit firm, but at only 6,000ft of runway, sometimes that’s what you have to do.

Southeast has a lot of special liveries. Lone Star One, Nevada One, Maryland One, Illinois One, Freedom One, Tennessee One, Louisiana One, Missouri One, Imua One, etc. There are a lot of them my friend!

It’s pretty nice this time of year. 60ish during the day and 30s-40s at night. That’s my kind of weather 😁.

Why are they getting rid of this livery?
