Best demonstration on pee problem ,I did just what you said found the screws ,it came apart easy found tube just as you said ,fixed thanks ,do more videos
Good video. I always tape the pee hole shut with a piece of scotch tape to keep the bugs out when the boat is not in use.(Scotch tape come off real easy.) I then zip tie a reminder on the steering wheel so I don't accidentally start the engine with the tape still on.
Thanks very much ! 😮 I just replaced my water impeller and still no water coming out and I thought that could be the issue although it is time for that maintenance but I believe that’s my problem too and I’m gonna try that exactly the way you did it and thank you so much👍🏼
I have a Bluewave too. I’ve had boats all my life,Tracktor supply has a water tank 100gallon that cost about $100 that’s the best way to flush your Suzuki, because of how many water pickups it has its best not to use muffs. Also get some salt away and use it every other trip.
The maintenance manual states you may have to wait up to 7 minutes for the thermostat to open and then the water will flow through the piss hole. Make sure your thermostat has opened. The same goes for the flushing, make sure it runs long enough to open the thermostat.
The tell tail is a different circuit than the one with the thermostat. It’s separated. As soon as the engine runs, water starts flowing through the tell tail constantly until shut off. Not only when the thermostat opens.
Guess pushing an air into the tube port toward into the engine is not a proper idea because you are going to push the possible dirts inside the engine. I had same problems with my dual 115s engines. Solution found easy to force some pressurized water by water ears inside the engine to dissolve the solidified salt blocking the tube and things goes well. Importantly try to do this attempt while engine running within max. 15 sec. if not succeeded, shut off engine and wait for cool and try again for two times.if not succeeding, consult technician.
There is a problem with some Suzie's where there is an exhaust plug on the PORT side down low that corrodes. When it corrodes enough it allows exhaust back in under the hood. When that happens it strangles your engine by feeding it exhaust instead of fresh air. If this is the case for you, then you need to diagnose it and have that area TIG welded.
Never run your suzuki on ear muffs you will burn your engine use a tank deep enough to drop the leg of the engine then run it. There is 3 intake water points on my 140hp so i assume all tnese engines are the same. Or you may loose your engine warranty.
you know this by now but for others most water will come out of center hub feel it it is hot and pee indicator is just an indicator.. next time pull the black plasticky right where water comes out and clear the derbies in seconds . .it pops out I will do a video on my channel soon
Water does not come out of the tell tail untill the thermostat opens when engine is up to temp. Some times at idle with the ears on mine will slow to a trickle or shut off momentarily untill the engine warms up then thermostat opens again.
I use a peice of weed wacker string to clean out the pisser fitting were the hose meets plastic always clogging up with salt and sand. Works great

Good information. The next time you have several things to point to use a pointer. Something like a pen or pencil.
Hi Thanks for the video. How did you get the bottom nut off Cheers Ian
How on earth did you get to that bottom bolt???
Check the popit valve on the oil pan. That regulates telltale flow a low pressure i(dle)
The worst thing for an outboard it letting it sit for long periods.

How did you get the bottom bold undone I can't seem to reach it with a spanner or socket thanks
Take port side cover off

You need to trade it in for a 250 😂

I have a DF50 and with the dual flow muffs on it won’t pee water out but with regular muffs it works fine idk why it doesn’t like the dual flow muffs
@Ironhead Outdoors ya man it’s crazy
Hi, thanks for the video it’s helpful. One question.. how did you remove that bottom bolt? I’m finding it very difficult to access.
pull the side covers... Much easier to access after they are off.

I Hit Sand with my prop.. afterwards no Peeing water. When Finger on the hole vor a Minute, it Comes out a little.. Any advice???
Mine was a thermostat that was opening all the way. Need to test in hot water.
Good video
That top thing is called a cover!
It's actually called your outboard's cowling.
@@damianp1758 you seen that new movie sound of freedom
You still have the boat?
I do!

Tattle tales work continuously Should show within a 15 seconds.
