Your eloquence on the subject of movement, and all it entails, always elevates me in some way. My understanding, my desire to move more, move "better". Thanks Ido.

Very well articulated vision of the different methods that exists and a great understanding of how to use the vision/perspective to feedback into our own state and inform what to explore.
I hope that this can percolate out into the movement field and get people thinking of their own approach. I know its has informed my own.

when i hear problem solving, i think playing with my movements in nontraditional ways, always with the mind of maintaining balance. Love your work friend. thank you.

I am not a good mover, however I found this content very comforting and familiar. This approach is applicable in all life endeavors. I find myself struggling with engineering challenges as optimization leads to a deadend no matter the effort, at which point you must switch your mindset, change the focus to different solutions leading to more opportunities. Ability to detach from optimization curse and catch yourself stuck is truly a great tool to possess to reach new levels beyond movement for sure. Thank You Ido for sharing wisdom.

Indeed. I approach optimistion as a learning method. I seek a clear goal with the mindset that failure is probably going to occur. I fail to understand. On the otrherhand, i call my redundancy approach “NASA level thinking”. Its a less exciting and slow development but provides stability with a inner peace that i know ill get somewhere however long or unclear that may be. Ultimately focusing on now.
Very often my redundancy approach, weigted with my failures of optimisation, provides the fastest progress.

I'm just about to go to Standard Jiu Jitsu as a Danaher robot to learn about system type 2. It's nice to hear some suggestion in this clip about when it's good to change back and forth. Thanks
