These rippers are now a staple in my laker box. Can’t wait for the new heavy jigs you have coming to match them with as well as the new 5” ripper will be deadly.
Been nearly 20 years since friends and I used to fish there from Tamar. Before electronics. lol. Good job Andrew, you put it back on the map! Sick big laker for ya too dude.
Thanks 👍. I can’t believe I had no idea this whole time of how good of laker fishing was so close to home. I love laker fishing don’t get me wrong but being in a fishery with chances of fish over 40” is always what I wanted from lakers. Tamagami will be a new annual trip for sure now.
If you've never caught an aurora trout you need to add it to your bucket list. Also I fish Lake Timiskaming regularly & catch monster walleye. Worth the trip if you've never been
Awesome video! I am a local native and have guided the past couple years up here! Ya did a great job fishing and showing the potential of this lake! Great job!
Temagami is a phenomenal fishery, and you did incredibly well for showing up fresh. Amazing to watch! Curious if Jared ever hooked up on a lighter action combo or if he stuck with the heavy setup the whole time. Stiff rods break hearts 😂
I've been going to Temagami for 6 years now every year and even without the fish there's just magic in the air. All of my PBs come from that lake, the fishing is so deep, and the fish are deeper then you think they would be but they are so huge there! Great video!
*panicked voice* at 9:30 “See you later…alligator…he’s going…circling down!” It happens, but stringer that guy next time eh? Lakers aren’t bad to eat! I think it could have been a valuable talking point for newer anglers watching your content.
I agree that fish did not swim off the best. But I do feel like all the fish we released did live. If I felt like it wouldn’t of lived I would of kept it for sure. But you are right it’s definitely a great point to speak on.
@@CastandConquer I have the chance to live 2h30 hours from there. A spend a couple of days on the ice there! Your film just push me to book a open water trip there!
@francisvaliquette6972 you need to next year for sure. They just closed up in pretty sure for lakers there if I’m not mistaken or it’s in the coming week or so.
@@CastandConquer Nice! If you a Skidoo and the ice is safe your up for a nice trip! I have book and ice hut from Loon lodge for base camp night on the ice are pretty nice!
I just beat my personal best small mouth bass twice in the last 3 days. On Tuesday I got an 8 pounder and then today a 10 pounder and both on peaches&cream corn niblets.

He had to light of a combo at the start and was not getting good hook sets. He then switched to the heavy but still was loosing a few
The fishing is unreal! Great work on the edit man. What a trip!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

That is awesome! Definelty the right lake to break pbs that’s for sure
What a trip!!!
Awesome video pal! Loved that intro man. Keep chasing them man!
Thanks! Will do!
Lakers are awesome. My son and I landed 60 Lakers in a day on northern Alberta's cold lake in early August. Awsome Time great vid
That is awesome! What a day to remember
sick vid
Thanks a lot
Cool trip Andrew I'll try to make it up there someday hopefully it's still as awesome.
I’m sure it will be just as magical.
Awesome video, I had no idea Temogami had that caliber of lakers on regular basis.
Me neither to be honest. But now that I know it does it will be a annual thing for sure
Awesome ! Can’t wait to go back
Me either man.
tanks!! such a cool vid man, edit was perfect!
Glad you liked it!
Love it, I have wanted to go for a long time aswell
A must visit lake
👏🙏 Well done guys! Tail grabbing helps calm them down I find. You guys should have swapped rods tho.
Next time! Tail grabbing I think will definitely be the way to go
Putting the kids to bed and then I am watching this epic experience.
Hope you enjoyed

Temagami is a crazy lakers fishery!!!
The best we have around other than maybe Georgian bay

Let’s go!!! 🤟🏽👀🍺
Man let Jared catch some😂
He has to catch up.
I just beat my personal best small mouth bass twice in the last 3 days. On Tuesday I got an 8 pounder and then today a 10 pounder and both on peaches&cream corn niblets.
The smallies were all huge there. I don’t think we had one under 3lbs
Oh... And this lake is 200km closer than Albanel were I went this spring for the same species. I got to look into that
It’s a must visit for sure. Not even just for the lakers there are also monster walleye, pike and smallmouth in the mix
Nice Video, which livescope mount are you using and what are your thoughts on it?
This is the Geiger tech pole. I absolutely love it. I troll Muskies with it up to 7mphr and it has no flex at all.
What jigs you recommend for the 3.5 rippers?
Two ounce swim bait jig
Thanks brother!!
💪💪💪
What rod did you use?
An olderDenali kovert
I love the west?wing of the lake..the main lake just ruins the northern feel..people everywhere..
We were southern arm, main hub and west arm
Looks like to stop of skull at 47:49 on the island point
I’m not sure where that is but maybe
