@@daemonium3278 yeah that is because frenzied flame is the (only?) way to actually kill spirits, it burns them away. So Torrent just straight up dies in the frenzied flame ending.
It's why Torrent is so scared to go into the Abyssal Woods and why the Hornsent quarantined the area so significantly. It burns *everything*, both the physical and immaterial. There won't be anything left when you're done burning...

What I love is frenzied lords 'personality' to whoever it takes over. It's so iconic that you notice it when fighting the frenzied lord in the dlc with the way he moves and clearly enjoys the chaos
I really love this, it makes the player look so much more monsterous and corrupted by the Frenzied Flame. If we could only add some kinda smoldering ember effect similar to ds3 it would be perfect.
I really thought there was going to be one in the abyssal woods at the waterfall place. Big open space, seemingly empty, site of grace right next to it, frenzied flame themed region... Feels like a missed opportunity, it would be cool if it dropped some kind of Frenzied ancient dragon lightning spear, and had a frenzied flame breath attack as it's dragon communion spell. The dragon roar could even work like a bigger howl of Shabriri!
No it's not. Even if you let her burn and then inherit the frenzied flame, the cut scene plays out the same way. I've had 2 play throughs that it happened this way.

So I made an accord with her. She gave us an impossible task. A job no one could have pulled off. Player: The Albinaurics buried in that time laid the foundation of what we are now. Player: And then, a few days after her Tarnished took the Flame of Frenzy, and denied her destiny, you burn the world and kill her fuckin' horse. Player: Melina will come for you. And you will do nothing because you can do nothing.
i think it just doesn’t make sense in a story perspective, since the ball of fire is not you anymore, but the frenzy flame. how can you control your character and play the game if the frenzy flame is controlling your character?

As much as I wanted to use The Frenzied Flame to burn everything down after realizing The Lands Between just weren't worth saving, I couldnt bring myself to betray Melina and Torrent.
It kinda makes me mad that after you get this ending, the tree you see in the cut scene doesn't stay. Its not something I really care about but it'd be cool to look at.

Midra is not the lord of the frenzied flame, he is just another person who failed to actually become the true lord of frenzy. The only one to actually become the true lord of the frenzied flame, is our tarnished.

I believe the Marika's and malikeths influence on her seal on her eye need to be gone to remember her purpose as the gloam eyed queen. (Who I still believe she is)
She was too busy in the shadowlands chilling with her brother but if there had to be an explanation I'd say she is burned and bodiless and cannot stop us as she has no physical presence, thus why she simply begs us not to do it because it really is up to us however the burning of the erdtree probably ends the division of the shadow lands which allows her to freely walk her path of revenge

This honestly sounds really cool. While it has only happened once, with sekiro. I think it would be interesting for fromsoft to explore souls games with a set protagonist. A Melina game would be really cool.

@@georgiykireev9678 incorporating this ending (along with other possible endings) to Elden Ring 2 would be more complicated than Telltale branching narratives. Unless they decide frenzied flame is the true ending. For similar reason, I doubt even Sekiro 2 will happen.

Torrent is terrified by the Lord of the Frenzied Flame, when you are in the Midra area he refuses to be summoned.
