Dick, I'm not a Ford fan, but as 1 of the machinist from Bryant's Engineering I supported you, through the XD, XE, Mustang & Sierra engines. I am proud to tell my son's & Family I knew U.. worked for & adored you & your sacrifice. I eventually bought at Springwood just around the corner from you, I have showed my son's where you & Jill Lived. You & Steven & the whole family hold a special place in my Heart. Cheers Derek

It is just heart warming seeing that team now. I remember on Forza 4 I made a a DJR livery with Penske since they switched to Ford in NASCAR written on it. Had no idea of what would happen and had no clue of how that team would boom into what it is now.

Such morons making comments about things they no nothing about, both Brock & Johnson have had boom and bust times and while I supported Johnson & Ford I still respect Brock as a driver, but having been at the Wellington Street Race when Brock fired some of his pit crew because he couldn't afford to pay their air fares home (ironically while racing a Ford!) demonstrates to me the vagaries of Motorsport and the huge costs involved, Johnson had huge sponsorship deals 87 88 he made millions and that he lost that by entering into bad deals is just a fact of life it happens to many people, rich, poor, smart & dumb, Whincup can never be compared with the likes of Johnson & Brock because he has just one focus and that's to turn up & drive he has time to prepare, train, work in the gym, a dietitian, personal trainer, and so many people making decisions for him that no comparison can ever be made.
