@@kendalbrenneman Actually this should be retitled "Audrey Hepburn Holding a Cigarette". Ironic how she smoked so heavily, yet in 90% of these scenes, she pretends not to know how to, and barely inhales or exhales. Sad she smoked so much, for so long...
I know, I never really understood why people wanted to smoke regularly, whenever I've smoked a cigarette I never really got much from it. But you're right, she's got a great smile!
Out of curiosity, where'd you find a copy of A Rainy Day in Paradise Junction? I know it was the last episode of the 1952 CBS television workshop series of productions, but I can't find a working link to an available copy, even, surprisingly, for money, anywhere!
H! A friend helped me get it. The first time I saw it was at a TV and radio museum in L.A. but apparently it was on television at some point too and he recorded it. If you reach out to me via Instagram or something I can give you a private link.
@@kendalbrenneman I hope it’s getting easier for you with practice. You look very natural holding the cigarette. The only thing that needs any improvement is your inhaling technique. I’m looking forward to watching!
I suppose you've heard that an Audrey Hepburn series is being produced by journalist Luigi Spinola, his son Luca Dotti and screenwriter Jacqueline Hoyt.
Yes! That’s what started my whole Audrey thing here on RUclips, and why I made that 3 month road trip to several of the cities and countries she lived in back in 2019. 😁
@@kendalbrenneman Yes, I know, that's why I was asking you because of what we had talked about, that maybe you would apply for the casting, etc I just wanted to let you know that the series is finally going to be made and if you apply for the audition, good luck :)

Still with the herbal but maybe for the next video I can borrow some 'real' cigarettes. have an idea for my next video. I'm dating a smoker now (he does want to quit) and going to have him coach me.
Many women have gotten cancer due to tobacco industry marketing smoking to them.. including these clips you are showing. Don't you think we all should do our part to make sure that smoking stops in our society?
MM, well, Audrey died of a cancer of the appendix, Pseudomyxoma Peritonel, but nobody knows what causes that cancer "as there are no known genetic, familial or environmental factors." It hasn't been attributed to smoking. But I know other people die of it. Eventually going to get my boyfriend to quit - he's already started using a vape recently. Hopefully some day soon smoking cigarettes will be something only people's grandparents did, and actors in movies... :-)

It has to be taken thru the context of the time. Just about everyone smoked back then, there were even Doctors Proclaiming the Health Benefits of Smoking..Just about everyone you bumped into would smell of it, and everyplace that you went would smell of it to. Audrey was a victim of her time, and Hollywood didn't help by pushing the lie about Smoking being Glamorous.
