The way we elect a leader is. . When you vote, you vote for your local electorate representative. NOT for a president (or as we call it "Prime Minister")
If a person wins their local seat or electorate, he goes into Parliament. He/she is probably representing one of the two main political parties that we have. (we have a 'left' (ish) party and a 'right'(ish) party as the two main parties, along with independants etc.)
The members of the parties elect a leader of their Party.
It's the Party leader that becomes the Prime Minister.
If the leader of the party (The Prime Minister) does something that the people or the Party think is bad enough, the members of his OWN Party can vote in a new Party leader. . Bingo! - literally within 1 hour we can have a new leader of the country (and this has happened a few times within the past 20 years or so). . . Admittedly, that person is still a member of the party in power and will tend to support and continue the policies of that party. . .
That NEW Party leader then becomes the Prime Minister. . . The voters of the country have no part in it.. .
As an example. . If the same system were used in the US, Trump would FIRST have to be elected the GOP representative for his local electorate.
Then, as a member of the GOP in the house of representatives - or as a senator. . he would have to remain the elected representative of his electorate for long enough until after he has enough experience and support from other GOP representatives - he MIGHT be elected the Party Leader of the GOP. . . If the GOP happen to be in opposition at the time, and the Democrats are in power, then Trump is merely the leader of the Opposition party.
If there is a full general election, Trump must win his local electorate (again) to remain in government. . AND - If the GOP wins enough seats, they become the Party in power and it is their Party leader who becomes president.
If the president doesn't behave - his own party can vote him out!!. . . No need for indictments. . no need for impeachments. . Just the party members get together. . fire him as their leader and vote in a new leader. . . . the new President!

I can't believe that I have had to come home from a war, for which I volunteered to shore up a recon unit that was short on both nurses and combat medics as well as being short on NCO's and Commissioned Officers ( especially any with active duty experience, advanced combat training and skills, advanced leadership skills and experience, etc), only to have to prosecute an entirely new war at home on political, social, economic, cultural, judicial, ethnic, religious, population, propaganda, etc battlefields for the very survival of representative democracy itself! Additionally, I find it surreal and disconcerting in the extreme that it's the same war that my grandfather and so very many others fought, to suppress the same destructive forces of hatred, human frailty, human weakness and hunger for power, isolationism and clan mentality, etc nearly a century ago! Finally, my very being, my very soul laments and suffers with the understanding that nearly half of the citizenry that I bled for and that my friends died for are actively and excitedly in whole hearted support of the darkness and of the damage being done to our beloved nation! I wrote an essay 40 years ago in college describing a situation in which the United States had accumulated such a staggering debt that the so-called leaders of the country decided that it would be better to charge the Soviet Union for the privilege of bombing the United States, which would serve as a major distraction from the financial chicaneries.
It strikes me the present situation is not far off from what I envisioned. A frightening Prospect made more frightening by an unhinged individual with access to nuclear , faced with a financial situation unlike anything in the history of the world. Who would he order an attack against as a distraction? China is a likely Target, as is Russia. The two countries together constitute a far greater Danger to the existence of the United States if the US threatens them. But they aren't anywhere near as crazy as we are. After all we already killed our conscience by using nuclear weapons twice, with the third as backup if the first two didn't work.
The present economic situation lobbies, at least in the mind of a narcissistic lunatic, for a dramatic and definitive solution. It's too late to vote him out of office. It's too late to vote his cronies out of office. The damage this animal has done to this country will be studied thousands of years from now, assuming there's anybody around to study it.

MSNBC is owned by Comcast, the so called America's most hated company. while FOX News Group is currently owned by FOX Corporation, still exists , independent from Disney and it is primarily a news and sports company now, though it does still own FOX Network because no one corporation can own more than one broadcast network and Disney already owns ABC.
