She's been insane since day 1 of OW2. Idk why it's only being talked about now, she's practically unkillable if her fortify and spear spin are used correctly. If she has a healer with her you can just forget about it, anything less than literally your entire team focus firing on her will just lead to Orisa getting a team kill before she dies.
That was the case even with 2 tanks. "Get a pick" "Dive the back line" "Flank the supports" etc. People say what you say to rag on 5v5 and tanks, but that has always been a thing.
@@blastphemii Then that is a bad Orisa, if the enemy team has a bastion she should be using her Fortify/Spin to get around corners and negate your configuration or give her supports breathing room on the healing.

Wow. it's almost as if they buffed her to a very unnecessary power level and her ult is nigh uncounterable when nano'd. Gee I wonder what could happen.
This conversation seems productive... Let me join! The fact of spending 2 utls to win a fight is never an argument. Grav dragon an issue as well i suppose then? Nano blade? Kiriko whole Hog? Is orisa overtuned? Maybe but it's not her Ultimates fault or Nano. Just too much easy damage. The other tank in these clips was not optimising their pick. Choose a dive tank and kill supports. Orisa loses
While her damage has always been pretty high for a tank, jav throw is pretty much all she brings to a team. If you notice, even with inflated 20k damage numbers, the overall kill secures isn't much better than a 12k-15k player because she doesn't deal decisively deadly damage. It gets healed off, and just builds up enemy ult gauges. She is also incredibly immobile so the enemy tank can stay in your way most of the time and the few times you do get to shoot past him into the squishies, your teammates most of the time can't shoot into the backline to help secure kills. She doesn't generate picks very well without precise Jav throws, so she doesn't swing team fight momentum in your favor very often. And if the enemy utilizes high ground at all, she is just staring up at them and might as well spam Hello. WIth all of that out of the way, mid and low tier, yeah she stomps, because most Bronze-Gold just sit in main behind their tank and let her mow them down. But these changes didn't do much for Plat+. She at mosts gets to tickle a lil harder on the Obiwans as she Anakin's the enemy tank.
I’ve been playing her a lot lately because of this. The entire time I just thought that it was because the enemy tank was bad. 😂 If you know how to properly rotate and pivot with Orisa’s abilities, you’re pretty much invincible. Add a pocket mercy and you’re a god.
@@yehiahosari4188 That's not true... You can have average healers and still do amazing. You just have to adjust your playstyle. Orisa is one of the tanks that needs the least support to do well because her survivability is innately high. The same cannot be said about others such as Winston and Ramattra who DO need a constant stream of healing, otherwise they'll be deleted. Orisa is not as much of a heal sponge, allowing healers to focus more on the rest of the team. Doing good on Orisa doesn't mean you're getting good heals either, so idk what you mean by "if you ever do good with orisa, thank your supports" as if the Orisa's individual skill of managing their cooldowns/abilities properly, positioning, baiting, ults, aim, and target prioritization didn't play a major role in their performance. Also, one should always be thankful for good supports. Bad supports don't get anything from me unless it's obvious they were genuinely making the effort to be a team player. Throwers, toxic, and overzealous people are the only ones that I consider bad lol.
What are you talking about she has a low cooldoen self heal ,immunities/damage resistance and you can effectively make space with her by spinning people away from your area to keep your health up. When my healers are trash I swap to her so I can survive on my own .
I’m by no stretch “great” at this game but I pull that with Sigma. If you really put in some time getting good with his kit you can counter almost anyone. His kit makes up for his low mobility allowing you to cover yourself for retreats and delay their push all while getting a huge health buff in the process. He’s insane.
Ive always been saying how good orisa is and was completely baffled when they gave her the buffs. she didnt need them and now is absolutely broken. i won't complain too much tho as an orisa main XD
real. I play doom fist and if you look at a technical standpoint - the ult he is literally worse than pre buffs. While Orisa who basically lives forever can cancel últs easily and can create soo much space. This últ buff is very unnecessary because it practically makes her últ have no downsides in a sense.
@@miniontoe2 her ult was already powerful enough as it is. its not a kill everyone in the circle ability but instead a prevent people from entering the objective for 4 seconds. the only real way to counter that was to be lucky enough to have a shield and be able to walk towards it but not anymore. it has no counter play when used as anything more than a mindless way to try and teamwipe.
@@miniontoe2 Doom is much better now than in season 1. And you said her ult has no downsides, except for the part where it's the worst ult in the game. Incredibly easy to just leave the ult, every other ult is better.

Remove hard counters, shields, cc, stuns, etc.. hell, why not call this game "Quake: Pixar Edition"? Yet another fast paced generic shooter, I honestly don't understand why Blizzard heard the obnoxious players who complained about those stuff, without them controlling the tempo of the game what's left is pure chaos, a braindead tug of war. And the market is infested with similar FPS games, so really, the free to play audience will abandon this game, jumping to the next trend... and the former players who are sick and tired of the forced changes, they will leave as well. This "sequel" is going to die faster than Halo Infinite
the way u deal with orisa is zen discord.. that's the only way she can realistically get burned down. maybe a bastion. but that's requires them being positioned well and/or supported against any dives. a zen at medium/long range high ground is the way if u insist in trying to beam down the orisa
She’s always been great. I’m kinda against the ult buff because she’s already very strong right now. I know she’ll get nerfed down the line after these buffs. I can normally get like 20k damage on Orisa and I’ve been able to keep snipers down.
Her ult was ass though, the falloff one was unneccessary if anything, she's already decently brawly and doesn't need to lean too much into the poke side of her kit
@@Grizzy6122 True. Even when the game first launched, Rein really struggled against Orisa. It's hard to do meaningful damage to her when she has Fortify up, her javelin throw can interrupt your charge and shatter, and her javelin spin can just push you out of position. She's been one of the strongest tanks since the game launched, my only difficulty was getting used to her new playstyle. Also I should note that Orisa v Orisa battles are hilarious in Total Mayhem.
The Overwatch Cycle: Community whines about a hero being too weak/strong A hero gets buffed/nerfed The buffed hero/another hero that wasn’t nerfed gets declared “insane” The community whines about the newly declared OP hero Repeat last step until another hero gets buffed/hero gets nerfed
And content creators saying "you really think the devs listen to us?" not realising that they literally DO listen to them, but indirectly through parrotting viewers
As an orisa main i hate these buffs... Because i know she will get nerfed in the future and they will surely not just revert the current changes. Probably nerfing CDs, damage, HP or something like that. Man the hero was fine before this patch and now they are doing these buffs no one asked for, nice
As a long time Rein main, Orisa is incredibly oppressive to play against. She outranges you and moves faster than you which would be fine except she is tankier than you with incredible cc. So I can't brawl her directly and I cannot move past her to the brawl the rest of her team. Playing against it isn't impossible but now with ult passing through my shield, I can't even have that interaction go my way. Bonkers buffs to an insane tank...
Doomfist main here. Very salty with this patch. Can’t do anything to Orisa, so I have to dive backline. But the Orisa can easily turn around and punish me while I can’t do anything back. For us Ball, Rein, and Doom players, we have to put so much effort be effective while braindead hog and horse go “DUH-HUH I win now my character beat your character.”
6k more damage than the Hammond- I really don't think Orisa needs to be nerfed. I'm tired of when a character is even remotely enjoyable we have to nerf them into oblivion.
orisa was a defensive juggernaut that struggled to peel for teammates, she was impossible to kill, but incredibly easy to ignore... but now shes a lot better at pressuring enemies, as if they can shoot at your teammates, orisa is at a good range to shoot them. i think right now she needs some tuning to her defensive capabilities, as shes basically the only tank that CANNOT DIE if she has healing. even wallbreakers like bastion cant do ANYTHING to orisa if she has support. shes kinda like an aggressive sigma but with shortened cd's in exchange for damage reduction with overhealth rather then a barrier. maybe fortify needs a bit longer of a cd...idk i dont personally think shes BROKEN, like doomfist was, hog is, or soljourn was/is, but she definitely needs some tuning down on her defensive abilities, especially since her offensive power got buffed.
Another reason why 5v5, while not all bad but will always be bad for tanks is, there will always be a best tank and there will always be a tank rock, paper, scissors match in every game regardless of how well one plays
I think you should do a video about Reinhardt. He needs a rework again. More shields or something. Most tanks directly counter another tank. But who does he counter? Everyone counters him. You have to build a team around him to be competitive rather than Orisa just being competitive on her own
Orisa is a bronze nightmare but I’d be shocked if she saw play in pro league. Her entire utility is killing squishies but almost every tank is able to do that atm. Need to have something that counters other tanks outside a shitty rein
@@canoncoriell9105 she’s literally dominating every rank currently because of roadhog. The main problem with Orisa is that her cool-downs make her borderline immortal in a fight. She counters half of the tank roster, it’s all just absurd. She hard counters hog, doom, Rein, and soft counters Junkerqueen, and Sigma. As a rein main i was doing incredibly well as Reinhardt off meta pics, but if heroes are becoming so overtly OP that they’re dominating in every single rank in the game, Like Orisa and Hog, it’s just a problem. She is incredibly unhealthy for the game and just shouldn’t exist in the state she is in
As an Orisa main I think the buff to her damage falloff was a bit much. I think she was honestly fine as she was - definitely solid A-tier - I just hope they don't over-nerf her now that she's in the meta and maybe just revert the damage falloff change.
She is just constantly pressuring thats wat makes her op she needs more cooldowns so dont get used so fast in succession and maybe increase the dmg range falloff/ lower fire rate or increase how fast her overheat meter fills up
lmao she has low cooldowns that she can cycle in between and should each be increased by 2 seconds, lets not be delusional, especially for all the heavy utility she brings
Here we go down playing again ofc the people that play's her don't want CD's Nerf's that's the whole reason they get to run amuck & make them believe they popping off
It was definitely unnecessary. I disliked the move from close range hero hero to distance when they changed projectile size and fall off. The speed boost, the ultimate, having gun on a heat cool down, etc. all requires moving up close range and be a brawler, so moving her back to spraying at range is kinda lame.
@GotTheJuice yeah sure it helps any buff does but i never really notice the buff since the way your supposed to play orisa is up close and personal and crowd controlling the enemy team, if your at the range where this buff wants you to be, id argue you're not playing orisa correctly, you wanna be a wall that enforces your will on the enemy team, you wanna move them around with your abilities and stop them from doing it to you, that all works best when your close quarters with this unit. Sure the buff is a buff its good there will be situations where it matters but the fundamentals of the hero didn't rely on this buff or change because of it, its still the same and the buff just helped orisa in situations she shouldn't be finding herself in anyways.
@@silis4645 you may not notice but it's still big abs is doing things without being obvious. Imagine they nearly doubled the range of rein melee. Their balance team doesn't have a clue. Orissa was never bad, even did well into hog and doom, but now they buff her and nerf doom, who was only really usable for 2 weeks and now he's total trash. Good balance makes well thought out adjustments one at a time, you can't just do 4 buffs or 4 nerfs at once unless it's some sort of rework or your just chasing your tail every patch.
I think they should get rid of Reinhardt's wind up animation for his charge to make him more relevant. His default attacks should also charge up his hammer strike ability to make the projectiles bigger and stronger.
as an orisa in in plat its so fun ulting and have the enemy rein and the intire enemy team stand in your ult while the rein sheilds and they all die. truly one of the best feelings
Hey Stylosa, could you make a video to raise awareness that the Friend Zone Trophy is bugged on PS5? The current workaround involves unlinking your Batttlenet account, creating a new one (requires another mobile number), linking that to your PSN and the trophy pops, which demonstrates it is bugged. It's been like this since the release of OW2 and they are not acknowledging it.
Tanks have become dark souls bosses in OW2 ... the moment the tank is killed the whole team is useless in most situations. i hate the 1 tank change when i am playing against a tank and i love it when i am playing the tank, it feels like a 1v1 with the other tank while swatting flies.
to players below diamond: it's okay to have a playstyle that doesn't exclusively just run into the enemy backline and kill squishies with Orissa in lower ranks. at those elo's, tank matchups matter a lot more than they do in higher ranks, as your dps will typically not do anything to protect your supports as you go in. additionally, playing a sort of "bunker down" style with her allows you to directly counter and effectively deny any value from the most broken tanks of this patch (Roadhog and Doomfist) through strategic use of her cooldowns. obviously there are exceptions, but the point is that Orissa's kit allows her to be extremely flexibile and you shouldn't feel locked into a single playstyle.
In OW1 I wasnt really interested in Orisa, and haven't played her in OW2 until just after watching this video, and I gotta say, she slays. Also, you have your abilities all the time and you can just push like crazy. I'm lovin it, gonna play some ranked on Orisa now :)
I feel like Orisa is a whole new kind of tank we don’t really have, except maybe Hammond. She isn’t a displacement tank, she’s a straight up “rush down” bully.
I’m now a Tank Main and Orisa was scary in Beta and Season 1 already. I often see newbie squishies run away from me even when with a team and full health. Lol
golden mode needs to allow her to get headshot or stunned imo currently shes immune to all forms of cc, takes 40% reduced damage, gains health to put her on par with rien, and cant get headshot a do it all button woo. While also having 2 cc abilities of her own via javelin, and jav spin. Its honestly stupid

Orisa has armor, a shift hutton that has extra damage reduction, and a javalin spin that also blocks damage. Not only that, the shift button gives some overheal. If that isn't *a bit much* then nothing is.
All heroes sound broken on paper. Ramattra has 450 health, more than double the health of most heroes, a primary fire that has the longest range of any tank, zero falloff, and high DPS. A secondary fire with the second highest HP barrier in the game, and can be placed extremely far away, unlike any other barrier. His ravenous vortex not only does damage, but pulls enemies down from the sky preventing any upwards mobility. It also slows them down. His nemesis form gives him 225 extra HP, basically an extra Cassidy or Symmetra, and gives him a speed boost comparable to Lucio's, and gives him punches that are faster and deal more damage than Doomfist's empowered punch. He can also block infinitely in this form for 75% damage reduction. And his ult keeps him in the form INDEFINITELY until people are outside of it's range for 3 seconds, all the while draining their health and keeping him in Nemesis form.
at 4:48 you accidetaly pressed shift again and canceled your fortify which is probably what lead to that death, and the amount of times i died like that is infuriating Q-Q
Still unsure whether to play Bap or Kiko into Orisa - On the one hand, she can follow up on Bap headshot bursts well, healing burst makes her practically invincible. On the other, she's slow enough to ninja-scout ahead of, and charging her down Old Fox Road is, as mentioned, disgusting.
Been saying this for awhile now She: Have good environmental kill potential A lot of armor plus an ability that further reduces damage making her a God if pocketed All her abilities counter most ultimates in the game and basically all other tanks ultimates Can’t be booped in fortify Can use all her abilities at the same time Low cooldowns
Blizz's buff priotization is questionable. Rein, Ball, Zarya, and maybe Dva need slight if not hard buffs/changes (ball) (unless Sombra changes), but they buff Orisa, a tank that was already performing well. Even just a numbers change for ball woulda been nice. He just doesn't exist in the game unless it's OT or the random Ball main. There's also dps that are undeperforming/not seeing enough play, but not even a slight numbers tweak to experiment for them either. If they were going to buff Orisa, I'm sure we all would've been fine to wait for it and would rather a buff to someone struggling hard.
Zarya is going to have a similar resurgence soon, the meta is getting so focused on killing supports her bubbles are pretty much the only way of saving your supports
At 3:40 even if the ultimate goes through shield there ought to still be enemy players trying to eliminate your teammates. If Rein was by themselves there maybe they should have focused swinging their hammer, but since you are gravity pulling their teammates to you including Rein then he ought to protect them with what little shielding there is to do so lest they get picked off.
Oh we noticed, zarya existed though. Im surprised people didn’t realize the zarya nerf made orisa top tier. That probably explains why seagull is using sym every game now lol
Hop on today for 3 games. I go into quickplay role queue tank. I picked orisa 3 times. All 3 games I had Healers playing DPS. Literally the match ended and all 6 healers were below 2k heals. I turn my PC of after that. People need to play their roles even in quickplay.
"This is the most insane tank in overwatch" Yep... I remember last week everyone said this about Doomfist.... and before that RoadHog..... and before that Zarya...... and before that Reinhardt...... Are you fools not seeing a patern!!
Why does blizzard constantly make huge changes in there patches when trying to buff a character. Like her previous damage fall off range was annoying, because it was like licking the ear of the enemy at far ranges. So they could have increased the fall off range by like 2, 3, or even 5 meters. But nooooo, they increase it by 10m??? That is 30 feet!!
They are actually so close to perfectly balancing Doom. If they remove the .25 second stun on his normal punch, and bring his punch back down to a 3 second cooldown, he would be just fine.
And removed power block and gave him like... a shoryuken and buffed his damage a little and made his ult land faster after using it so it actually has a chance to kill
As someone whos trying to play tank doom, i can tell you hes very effective (at my elo) when dps follow up. I struggle to get solo picks making doom lose value. Also when we dont have the healing to sustain the amount of damage doom is getting shoved down his throat at a constant rate I need to switch. He's very situational.

The real problem is how tank matchups work. Generally the one with the least counters and supports their team best are the ones that get used. There is no room for the other tanks then which is the flaw of the 5v5
It's the nightmare of balancing a asymmetrical role, the 5v5 is a obvious mistake. Each couple of weeks there will be the clear better pick among tanks. It started with Zarya and Dva, then Hog and Orisa, Doomfist for a little while, now back to Hog and Orisa (also Ramattra is a bit overtuned. Nerf his nemesis form and ultimate, he will become too weak... eternal cycle of bad design choices). The more Blizzard forces this 5v5 nonsense, they will lose more players. I do think they will return with the 6v6 in 2024, after the game literally die by mid 2023. If even Halo died (and the gameplay was well received at launch), imagine this fake sequel of Overwatch?
Not going to lie, Lucio holds off the whole team and makes up for the time lost. I noticed Orisa killing it but she's not what I'm used too anymore. Just saying I can hold a hole team up and a few kills in-between with Lucio. Mabe you should start leaning how to use him.
Tanks at no point should be doubling the damage of dps characters unless they are being pocketed or in conjuncture with other ults. They should be beefy, providing the ability to protect their team sure, however they go about that. Obviously they should be difficult to take down, their tanks. I don't think there should be that much of a difference in damage between the tanks/dps though. It less frustrates me in 5v5 than it does in FFA. Roadhog in FFA was at least as of 2 months ago busted in FFA. As long as you hit your hooks you were unkillable unless 2-3 people focused you down. He was essentially Reaper with a slower shotgun, and take a breather, which is far harder to deal with than The Reaping.
I don’t want to be that guy to say she needs a nerf but I would personally like to her javelin thrower cooldown be just a little longer. Like a 7 or 8 second cooldown instead of 6.
OW2 balance devs seem completely out of their depth. Loads of characters take ages for changes (Soujorn anyone?), and then when they do, it's way too much (Doomfist's first buff, and then second nerf, way too far both times), or way too little (what are we, 3 balance patches in, Queen finally gets some small buffs that come with nerfs?).
I didn’t think she needed buffs, she was crazy anyway and if you needed to snipe someone for more damage, you use the spear since it’s fairly accurate due to the speed, but these buffs take her to another level.

That or focusing on the worst characters and pushing them up instead of just the constant reworks and nerfs and "people are having too much influence on a match! They need to have to work as a team of randos!" which has been frustrating the playerbase since the beginning
@Hsaia Yep I realized it was all just a big trojan horse.

@@LateBandwagon yeah but Rein can't fire for infinity and beyond and become an unkillable terminator.

Even masters+ she's probably 2nd best tank rn just because she has good matchups against meta tanks, and is decent on her own
I assume you forgot that a tank's job is to create space for their teammates/keep certain enemies off their teammates.
I’ve been playing her a lot lately because of this. The entire time I just thought that it was because the enemy tank was bad. 😂 If you know how to properly rotate and pivot with Orisa’s abilities, you’re pretty much invincible. Add a pocket mercy and you’re a god.
Orissa is terrible without good healers. If you ever do good with orissa thank your supports
Perfectly balanced
Don't think u good cuz ur an actual bot when it comes with other tanks since u need an op character to compete
On first choke point on Shambali, attackers need to take high ground control via the left side where there is a tonne of cover.

I love how blizzard said they'd no longer want hard counters in the game.
In the meantime Orisa is the hardest counter to Reinhardt stat. He can't do anything against her.
Everyone is a hard counter to rein. He's simply dogshit
Orisa was given a counter ability to every hero. Between fortify and the javelin spin there isn't a damage hero that can take her out.
the way u deal with orisa is zen discord.. that's the only way she can realistically get burned down. maybe a bastion. but that's requires them being positioned well and/or supported against any dives. a zen at medium/long range high ground is the way if u insist in trying to beam down the orisa
The ult isn't what made her strong before and it isn't what makes her strong now...
@@Grizzy6122 True. I thought it was hot dogshit before but using it to secure low hp kills, pull enemies off the map and just using it as a zoning ult made me realize overtime how it can be used in other ways besides raw damage. The amount of forced c9s I caused by standing on payload while ulting is insane.
@@alexander2019. I guess so, it just seems worse than all the other tank ults since they often get full team kills (Annihilation, Rampage, Flux, Shatter, Grav) and even ults like flux grav and whole hog are better for forced c9s. @@Grizzy6122 oh it definitely is. It’s a lot shittier and more inconsistent but you can do a lot with it. It’s kinda weird for a tank ult but it’s alright, personally it’s more utility than just a insta kill ability
I'm convinced blizzard does not know how to create balanced characters for overwatch
The Overwatch Cycle:
Community whines about a hero being too weak/strong
A hero gets buffed/nerfed
The buffed hero/another hero that wasn’t nerfed gets declared “insane”
The community whines about the newly declared OP hero
Repeat last step until another hero gets buffed/hero gets nerfed

As an orisa main i hate these buffs... Because i know she will get nerfed in the future and they will surely not just revert the current changes. Probably nerfing CDs, damage, HP or something like that. Man the hero was fine before this patch and now they are doing these buffs no one asked for, nice
0:10 "no one uses barriers anymore" the sigma in the back using a barrier
Literally went from plat to master on tank last night and i can confirm i was keepin up w the enemy bastions dps in games
orisa was a defensive juggernaut that struggled to peel for teammates, she was impossible to kill, but incredibly easy to ignore...
but now shes a lot better at pressuring enemies, as if they can shoot at your teammates, orisa is at a good range to shoot them.
i think right now she needs some tuning to her defensive capabilities, as shes basically the only tank that CANNOT DIE if she has healing. even wallbreakers like bastion cant do ANYTHING to orisa if she has support. shes kinda like an aggressive sigma but with shortened cd's in exchange for damage reduction with overhealth rather then a barrier. maybe fortify needs a bit longer of a cd...idk
i dont personally think shes BROKEN, like doomfist was, hog is, or soljourn was/is, but she definitely needs some tuning down on her defensive abilities, especially since her offensive power got buffed.
She is just constantly pressuring thats wat makes her op she needs more cooldowns so dont get used so fast in succession and maybe increase the dmg range falloff/ lower fire rate or increase how fast her overheat meter fills up
no her cooldowns are fine its all about timing, yall need to learn howw to counter instead of immediately saying they op and need nerf
Lol dude to be good with orisa you really need to time the cooldown she has long cooldowns as it is
lmao she has low cooldowns that she can cycle in between and should each be increased by 2 seconds, lets not be delusional, especially for all the heavy utility she brings

Say that to the people who complains about Doomfist and Roadhog.
Here we go down playing again ofc the people that play's her don't want CD's Nerf's that's the whole reason they get to run amuck & make them believe they popping off
I don't even think they buff her much at all, but they did nerf every other tank around her making her look and feel stronger
they nearly doubled her effective range, thats a pretty massive buff
@Bui check out my reply to the other guy i talked about this exactly

"Who cares? Noone uses barriers anymore"
Rein players: "AAAAAHHHHHHH"
to players below diamond:
it's okay to have a playstyle that doesn't exclusively just run into the enemy backline and kill squishies with Orissa in lower ranks. at those elo's, tank matchups matter a lot more than they do in higher ranks, as your dps will typically not do anything to protect your supports as you go in. additionally, playing a sort of "bunker down" style with her allows you to directly counter and effectively deny any value from the most broken tanks of this patch (Roadhog and Doomfist) through strategic use of her cooldowns.
obviously there are exceptions, but the point is that Orissa's kit allows her to be extremely flexibile and you shouldn't feel locked into a single playstyle.
In OW1 I wasnt really interested in Orisa, and haven't played her in OW2 until just after watching this video, and I gotta say, she slays. Also, you have your abilities all the time and you can just push like crazy. I'm lovin it, gonna play some ranked on Orisa now :)
Orisa is strong, but using a clip where you get nanoed 4 times in the second half alone can explain the wild damage gap.
I feel like Orisa is a whole new kind of tank we don’t really have, except maybe Hammond. She isn’t a displacement tank, she’s a straight up “rush down” bully.
She was already OP, especially in low elo, because she is unstoppable there. Yeah, another buff for here... Blizzard in 2022...

I mean having 2 competent supports that are allowing you to just go in unconditionally should be mentioned here.
Been saying this for awhile now
She:
Have good environmental kill potential
A lot of armor plus an ability that further reduces damage making her a God if pocketed
All her abilities counter most ultimates in the game and basically all other tanks ultimates
Can’t be booped in fortify
Can use all her abilities at the same time
Low cooldowns
She is definitely overtuned and for some goddamn reason, they buffed her even more, lol the devs are completely lost

I’ve been Orisa main since OW 2 launch, she’s SO good, and no one notices
Oh we noticed, zarya existed though. Im surprised people didn’t realize the zarya nerf made orisa top tier. That probably explains why seagull is using sym every game now lol
Hop on today for 3 games. I go into quickplay role queue tank. I picked orisa 3 times. All 3 games I had Healers playing DPS. Literally the match ended and all 6 healers were below 2k heals. I turn my PC of after that.
People need to play their roles even in quickplay.

Yep... I remember last week everyone said this about Doomfist.... and before that RoadHog..... and before that Zarya...... and before that Reinhardt......
Are you fools not seeing a patern!!
I've been saying Orisa is actually 2 dps heroes in a horse costume
Why does blizzard constantly make huge changes in there patches when trying to buff a character.
Like her previous damage fall off range was annoying, because it was like licking the ear of the enemy at far ranges.
So they could have increased the fall off range by like 2, 3, or even 5 meters.
But nooooo, they increase it by 10m??? That is 30 feet!!
the spear is so annoying when going against orisa 😭😭 one time i was going to ult with reaper and she hit me directly and died instantly
They are actually so close to perfectly balancing Doom. If they remove the .25 second stun on his normal punch, and bring his punch back down to a 3 second cooldown, he would be just fine.
And removed power block and gave him like... a shoryuken and buffed his damage a little and made his ult land faster after using it so it actually has a chance to kill
no, he would be S1 doom with a weaker empowered punch.
As someone whos trying to play tank doom, i can tell you hes very effective (at my elo) when dps follow up. I struggle to get solo picks making doom lose value. Also when we dont have the healing to sustain the amount of damage doom is getting shoved down his throat at a constant rate I need to switch. He's very situational.
he's in a worse spot than he was season 1. it's impressive how terrible blizzard is at balancing him

Every game I get in I delete everyone as Rein but as soon as they see that they go Orisa and the game goes one sided. Everytime! It’s annoying.
wow today i startet playing on my main on atm g4 and inside my first placementgames i played against a supp that was master on all ather rolls but only platinium 1 on heal i hate the balance of course is lose this
If you just run past the tank don’t you leave your team defenseless ? And how do you get healed ?
eve if your shatter kiriko can cleanse it XD. i still find that funny that shatter can be cleansed. poor rein lol
Mabe you should start leaning how to use him.
haven’t heard you say todeloo in ages
Iris’s being buffed like this makes me worry that she’s going to get the doomfist treatment while hog remains untouched till January
You just figured this out?
When it comes to this it's about landing your shots and being healed cause if your not being healed most of the time you'll die quick
did your... gold mode get suzu'd away at 2:36 ???
I’ve been playing her from the beginning of OW2. So unbelievably fun.
I don’t want to be that guy to say she needs a nerf but I would personally like to her javelin thrower cooldown be just a little longer. Like a 7 or 8 second cooldown instead of 6.
I wonder if I will live long enough to see the day when a support hero in OW2 will have a video with the words "...is insane!" after it.
Not sure what people are over-exaggerated at this point let’s nerf all the tanks and buff torborjon
this is worse than hog meta cause you could at least counter hog by staying far
Doom didn’t even need the nerf, they needed to wait another week because Otis’s was already being played to counter him, and now he’s unplayable again
Orisa was already my most used tank when I played tank ( mostly play DPS)...so this is good to hear.
Might be a bad thing bcuz they might end up nerfing her to be worse than before.
Reject Doomfist.
Embrace Orisa
The musical chairs of tanks being strong continues. Who's next?
She literally doesn't die if they have a pocket support. I dont understand why they felt like she needed to be buffed
I didn’t think she needed buffs, she was crazy anyway and if you needed to snipe someone for more damage, you use the spear since it’s fairly accurate due to the speed, but these buffs take her to another level.
If people really hype up orisa this much that means sym and zarya are heavily slept on
I know you were saying you prioritize the squishes, but the hyper inflated mit numbers on the enemy tanks says otherwise. :)
