It's a mirage
No it wasn't thats called a flap
@@irinaanton4904 Thanks for informing me that modern airplanes have zero ability to flex and bend. I LaEhrnT sumptin newt erry day
I wish this aircraft will be rebuilt and fly again
There’s a bigger prototype but it would take centuries to build
It won't happen for too many reasons. From inability of corrupt ukrainian state to specific usage of the aircraft which was designed as an aircraft carrier for Buran spacecraft. The smaller models of Antonov aircrafts might be created in future after reunification of Antonov company with Russia.
Amazing piece of engineering.
What a sad ending.for probably the most famous plane in the world it's iconic, it's been on TV programs Dramas etc in the UK, no doubt other nationalities have had it on TV programs etc, with the parts particularly the fuselage from the plane that was never completed she has to be remade even if it's not adsatly the same plane at least another can be built alot of nations have offered to help remake another plane. I'm not into planes but hope she's reborn.
go to 6:00 to skip all the taxing and engine run up ...
Cheers
THAT'S the BIGGEST PLANE I ever seen in my LIFE😲
well it's the biggest you'll ever see for the moment so yeah pretty normal
This baby was left negletted for years, during the dark days of the former URSS.In the late 90's a new company restored it and had it registered for civil aviation. Another partial assembled airframe of this class was then sold to a Chinese aviation company.
I simply love this majestic plane
I read an article about this plane in an aviation magazine. The writer said this plane can carry enough food to stop a famine. I thought it was a BS statement until now...
This is a flying fortress, not a plane god damn
Truly, ONE OF THE TOP 5 Flying WONDERS OF THE WORLD !!!
gena pyhh
1:00 I like how it makes the A380 looks small by comparison lol
A380's wing tail is tall tho
no really, I infact thought the opposite, A380 is taller than antonov
@@rainfall2880 Mhm, A380 is thick, that's how the wing tail became big
Somehow, An-225 has smaller ones but they are compact and more aerodynamically responsive
Thomson 787: the track is mine
Antonov 225: because you are a ant
