Honeycomb Candy

- From a fresh whole honeycomb! This is one of the best tasting treats ever.
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tbsp honey
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp baking soda
1. Prepare a baking dish with well-oiled parchment. Set aside.
2. Combine sugar, corn syrup, honey, and water in a pan.
3. Whisk to combine, then turn heat to medium high.
4. Bring this mixture to a boil, then bring it up to 300 F or 150 C. Remove it immediately from the heat.
5. Add baking soda and whisk for just 5-8 seconds. Then pour immediately into your greased baking dish.
6. DO NOT MOVE IT, TOUCH IT, OR EVEN LOOK AT IT for 1.5 - 2 hours. Let it set. You can sprinkle a little salt if you want.
7. Crack it open with a blunt tool and enjoy!

I was a beekeeper for 2 years and nothing, nothing beats taking a bite from fresh honey comb. It’s insane what bees do and how critical their importance is to this planet. Solid video broski.

They actually make them in round tube shapes, but the heat makes all the surrounding tubes stick to each other and form a perfect hexagon shape

I am helping my grandpa who is beekeeper like from when i was 11 and when i bringed the honey to my friends they said that this is the best honey the eated i didn't know the feeling, because it was normal for me, but it's amazing!

I finally got toai this!!!! You. Need a big pan to. Poor the candy into, I used a small on so it started to over flow and it got everywhere, but its really yummy and easy.
