And what set me off was when I broke my back n ended up in a wheelchair, I pulled out the 2.5 and stabbed a 350 in a 2wd long bed, I wasn't even healed up enough to be doing that shit, a lot of friends left including my gf. Have no idea where I got the strength to do it all on my own, I guess I just wanted it bad enough. 22yrs and a few more accidents later I should have died from I'm still building these baby squares, I love these little trucks and I hope and pray you are still following your passion man👍
The roller cam blocks at about 525hp you start running the risk of blowing out the side of the block. Ive seen 3970010 blocks with mild mods hold upwards of 850+hp.
If it's got a 108 LSA with a 104 centerline, what made you advance the cam 4 degrees? Were you trying to get the rpm range down a little bit when the cam comes on? After watching your videos on the perfect LSA I'm trying to understand what made you advance the cam 4 degrees since that would change the valve event timing. Also, pet your dogs for me.
I am an engine guru from the 80s. We never made 580 plus hp on a n.a. engine w o nos and using camel hump heads. Fulie heads and 383 cid sbc on pump gas. More like 450 hp.
Are you implying that 186's won't make 580hp?, if so i can physically prove otherwise...Im gonna start by saying i could very easily make 450hp with a 355 and mildly ported/modified 186's all day, Now I'm not trying to be a dick, This I just my INTJ Personality, im just very matter of fact an direct so im gonna lay down some truth... You obviously dont realize that extremely ported & highly modified 186 heads are capable of 650+hp, David Vizard has proof on his channel with a video of a 562hp 355 with 186's, he also shows a spread sheet that proves that 186's specifically are capable of making 660hp or a lil more with minimal core shift and when they are in the right hands... Those heads on my 383 have 5000-6000+ dollars worth of work into them(That was back in 2006), my Dad is the one who did those heads, somebody wanted them setup for a 600hp+ dirt track car but the person never came back to get them when they were done so my dad had to eat that loss then later ended up selling them to me for 300 bucks in 2007.... I have a deep understand of "Human Psychology" so that is why i had purposely underrated the capability of those heads and the HP of that 383 to just a flat 550hp in the video specifically to try to avoid situations like this, and even in doing so there is still speculation from a few individuals like yourself who dont bealive or understand the HP capability of these heads, and ultimately you dont think they are capable of such HP output just because you have never personally achieved, seen or heard of them producing that kind that kind of power output, Right???... David Vizard seen right threw the fact that i was underrating the power number by quite a bit, this 383 is the engine that unintentionally got David Vizards attention in the first place.... Now I'm gonna be 100% scientifically honest so no offence but im not so sure about the claim you made about being an "Engine Guru" making the incorrect statement you just made about that engine/heads, and the evidence that says otherwise in the other comments you left on a few of my other videos, one specifically was your comment about Optimal LSA not being able to increase TQ&HP across the entire rpm curve when there was clear EMPIRICAL PROOF with Dependent & Independent data via the last 5 dyno sheets that were shown, there was an extremely obvious TQ & HP increase across the ENTIRE CURVE with optimal LSA and multiple examples showing said increases, I also gave a simplified 100% correct scientific explanation of why it happened as far as Dynamicly with the effect of each of the Valve Events & the effect of optimal Overlap placment in relation to the IVOP... I had also said CLEARLY 2X IN THAT VIDEO, "ALL THE INFO IS RELATIVE TO ENGINES WITHOUT VARIABLE VALVE TIMING"... Even though i had made that very clear statment in the video for some reason you kept talking about VVT and how LSA wont do what i said it will... Now to back to your claim of a "Engine Guru", in your case i can tell just from all the comments you have made and the type of comments they are, that the term of status known as "Engine Guru" is an extremely extremely steep claim for you to make to say the least... I've had to rebuild that 10bolt a few times to say the least. Lol they really don't like 550+hp and 47"ltbs
