This practice has repeatedly transformed my relationship with struggle. Anyone who is here for the first time, repeat this practice, again and again, just like you would exercise regularly to stay physically fit. Thank you, Tara Brach!!!!
I am struggling with feelings of loneliness following my divorce and the death of my dog… Someone recommended the RAIN meditation. I just did one for the first time, I feel so much more peaceful. Thank you
Tara, my friends and I have been meditating to this daily for almost 2 months now. This has been such a transformative gift for us all. From the depths of my heart, thank you!
Acknowledging the reality of the existing pain and inner turmoil is not negative. Healing occurs when I take the time to love even the darkest places. 🙏🏼😇⭐️♥️❤️ thank you Tara
@@upstatenewyork - 'in spite of' is language in direct opposition to acceptance. To love all of you is to BE with all of you. 'In spite of' is still a rejection of that which you do not truly see as worthy of your own love - or the thought would hardly occur to you. We all do this. It's a difficult concept to meditate with, but this allows deeper insight into your own heart.
@@upstatenewyork I like to think that it's only an emotion, an emotion experienced by every single one of us, and that it's not ME, I'm not the anger, it's just the anger that's taking place in me and in that way is a part of me - and that's ok. Then again, you don't follow it and what it's telling you, just recognize the anger, let it be, but don't let it guide you in that particular moment. You and the love you have is greater and more powerful and with that love and patience you can find the capacity to just let go of the anger in the moments when you'd for example like to do something bad. I don't like to ignore it though, I like to experience and express it, but there are so many better options, walking, dancing, writing down on paper all your honest thoughts, even the darkest ones (for instance, some ugly things you'd like to say to another person in the moments of anger). If you write them down then you can look at them with a bigger distance and actually see that hey, these words aren't actually me - and in some way you can feel liberated and pure inside. I hope some of it works for you and helps you, I just wrote down whatever came into my head hahah. Wish you a lot of peace and acceptance of whatever you find in yourself ❤
Thank you, Tara💗 2023 was hard for me and my friends. And even now the circumstances in my life are not easy, but I am so grateful to God that I found you, your talks and meditations are literally life-savings for me🙏 Blessings for all of us🕊️
Cried at the end of this meditation. Felt like the hot and fat tears were all the judgments I've been in a trance with throughout this very stressful week. Thank you Tara for sharing your wisdom.
So I listen to this almost everyday 😺. It helps me go to sleep 😴. I always find one way in which I am being hard on myself: lost in a trance 💗. Tara’s voice always effects. I accept myself. May we all be free of suffering. Xc
Thank you Tara for this beautiful meditation. I always feel better after listening to it. It's a release and unwinding of the harsh treatment I unknowingly put myself through. I am grateful to you and your gentle spirit.
This meditation is in my TOP TEN FAVORITES...so beautiful, helpful and restorative. I play this once each semester in my DBT Skills Training Group to enhance their experience of radical acceptance and self-compassion❤
Deepest gratitude to you Tara for this priceless gift. Something touched me at the soul level. Hearing your soft voice and compassionate words I saw myself embracing those parts of me that I abhorred so often. May the rain compassion fall on all beings 🙏🙏🙏
I’m going through a really hard time right now and have been returning to this practice daily. It’s amazing how each time it’s a new experience and there’s always more space to open and receive love. I am so grateful for this meditation. It has been a shining light for me
Thanks a lot, it's nice to hear the tones of peace, compassion, insight, care, wisdom, humor, helpfulness, guidance, sharing, intelligence, hopefulness, strength, openness, quiet, patience, kindness, and etc.
This meditation has been with me in my most difficult moments in recent years. I have learned so much from you Tara. You have saved my life. I love you.
Tara, thank you for sharing. I come to this regularly when I need some love. I've got my hot pinball brain on today so your voice is soothing me. Your notion of RAIN also keeps me going; when you speak about negative thoughts as trance it helps me to understand. Listening from Worcestershire, UK 💫😊✌🧠
That quote at the end.from the Indian master is a game.changer. i am going to record it as read by tara and play it on loop all day at work, every day until i can start treating myself lovingly as i ought.
Thank you so much Tara for this. Whenever I’m dealing with the dark I’m coming back to this video and this practice has been guided me to find the light in me through out the last couple of years. It’s changed my life. Forever grateful
I have practiced this for 5 days now while reading her book and my grip around struggle has dramatically decreased already I am actually able to sleep now which is huge for me ❤ thank you
Thank you so much, I needed to hear this. Me to myself - I'm sorry for being so hard on you, you are enough.... this is powerful, thak you Tara for blessing me with this beautiful meditation today!
Thank you Tara .. you have helped me more than words could ever express. You are extraordinary. a true healer. I thank god for you. Thank you for giving me a way to heal, get out of the Trance and reconnect with the truth of my being. 🙏may all beings everywhere be at peace and be free x x
Thank you, Tara. This meditation helped me to lighten up and give myself a break. I will listen to it again to remind myself when I am caught in a mindset of judgment.
today's meditation: anxiety, overwhelmed, stuck and frozen due to work -> you don't have to radically change. you can keep being who you are. gently preserve yourself while looking towards your higher self 22/04/2023 - discomfort at night -> you deserve good things, you deserve to live life. you deserve to enjoy life 23 apr - shame, conflict, stress, overwhelm -> acknowledge this is the life of the moment. you belong, you are part of this life. you are not to control. we don't have the capacity to control life. surrender and let life flow over you. 24 apr - feeling broken -> i offer my presence. you can always rely and depend on me. i am here for you 24 apr (night) - bored and anxious -> offer acceptance that this is life in the moment. offer companionship (empowered coz rain worked) 25 apr - feeling of not being understood (-> hypno) 1 may - i'm nothing -> i deserve good things, i deserve life 7 may - I am wrong, something is wrong with me, I don’t deserve to be here -> I will let you be, be free, let others opinions flow over you
Thank you dear Tara, this seems to be the only and the most divine way to heal the aching self, thank you for bringing Bapujis teaching to this healing meditation it’s like I heard it for the first time.... 🙏💛🙏
I don’t necessarily judge myself but may feel angry at someone else for their behavior. I still use this despite the lack of precision of what I am feeling or sending. For me It is not often about being irritated that my needs are not honored
Can I ask why it's not recommend for a beginner? I'm new to all this and I have an extensive history of trauma (diagnosed with C-PTSD). I've been told to avoid guided meditations but don't know why.
Tears are never a ‘bad thing’. They are form of the energy inside you that needs releasing 💕 I’ve found that if I remove the judgment/belief that tears are ‘not ideal’, it allows more freedom to cry and move emotions😄 love and blessings to you ❤️
I had compassion for myself I lived responsibly exercising good judgement and allowing relaxing as well without extremes that could have unacceptable consequences. I continue to have compassion for myself, I will keep living with good judgement. AND I will compassionately bow to the tendency and begin to trust myself more and accept that others do. I actually find nature is innocence
