Haven't finished the video, but Dead Space is the love child between the action horror of RE4 and so-called imsim design principles of Deus Ex and System Shock. I would highly recommend checking out Dishonored for its design principles
Still in the first chapter of Dead Space 2 and I can see what you mean. Also, the environment feels much more cleaner in DS2 than DS. I think that's just because we're in a different setting now? I love the decaying look of the Ishimura so much.

@@MrSiloterio in 1, the animations are more natural, but also, slower and maybe less responsive.
@@MrSiloterio Which Dead Space version has decaying look of Ishimura? I haven't played this franchise but looking forward to it.
