016 - [Pre Fire] Footings

This is the last of the videos I have from before the fire on November 8, 2018. Part of the reason that I'm releasing these videos is that the little cottage I'm working on survived the fire, and when the time comes, I will resume the remodel.
I do a bunch of random things in this video but mainly it is digging and pouring a couple of footings for the large beam that will span the entire space, allowing us to open up the center wall and make it one large living space. Enjoy!

Thanks Gary. Yeah insurance was not as bad as we thought. Of course they are stingy, but not bad overall. We moved into a new house to live in. And by new house, I mean a super fixer upper! This is more of a temp living situation while we wait to rebuild on our property.
