What a difference. You did a great job! What did you use for your back splash?

Thanks Ryan. I used the pine shiplap from Home Depot. Painted it white and caulked where they meet the countertop with clear 100% silicone.

Your dishwasher sang, then exposed itself to me. I dunno how I feel about that.

The cabinets are from Ikea correct?? Between us, give me honest opinion. They get fantastic reviews online but, I'd like to hear some initial thoughts from someone that actually installed them recently. Kitchen is lookin good Bud. Hope all is well & Dirty Jersey out!!!

Thanks dude, yeah overall I like them, I don’t love them. I would have a much higher opinion if I had made my own bases out of 1x4 or 2x4s. The majority of my frustrations were from the little plastic feet. I hated the plastic feet. But build quality is great. We love how they feel compared to a lot of cheap garbage you find out there.

    WOW, what an improvement!
Was that a kit to turn a circular saw into a wet saw for cutting the slab?

Thanks dude! No, my friend Devon who helped me did that himself. Just drilled a hole in the blade guard and got some adapters to hook up to a hose. Works super well and cheap cheap.
